thing.Illiteracy is the worst disease.


Buhari must be forgiven. He is terribly ill and the illness
affects his ability to remember events clearly, particularly
recent events. There is always a flicker of memory of
past events in a disjointed fashion with reawakening of
primitive sensory perception in a tenacious manner. He is
terribly helplessly handicapped. We should not always
hold him for his words and actions. The national tragedy
is that people are profiting from his handicap and ill-
health. Instead of offering help as a national duty.

license illegal refineries when there never got there crude supply from genuine source? licensing these guys is more or less giving amnesty to them cos there r criminals. .... there activity alone has cost government billions of cash... maybe if the word "amnesty" illegal refinery operators would convince me but not licensing them....

Let me add that I believe in leading by example. I take her suggestions seriously. Where I don't agree we discuss it and I get her to understand and willingly agree with me. The only complain she has ever had pertaining to me was about me calling her by her name (actually short form of her name) instead of her pet name when friends or visitors are around. I just wasn't used to it but I had apologized and adjusted.

I'm a very simple person and I don't shout even when I'm angry. It's only my countenance & tone that would let you know I'm angry. But I don't just get angry instantly. In the last instance I just brought out the item to where I was working in the room. She came back and laughed when she saw it before me. I asked her what the item is doing in the house when I had asked her to stop buying it and she agreed. She responded that she will be using it moderately. She had made this same assertion before but can't keep to it before I told her to stop out rightly. I asked her if she realized that her action is disrespect to me? She said it's not like that that she has promised to reduce the quantity. In all this I was cool and she had all the time to apologize. I only got angry when I told her that I can stop eating her food because of this and she told me that the food I will eat outside will still have the item.

To me the last statement shows defiance. That is what really upset me. If she had apologized, I would have easily consented to her continuing believing that she will take it more serious to be mindful of the quantity.

We have more than four refineries in Nigeria and we can't even produce enough product for our daily consumption. Today Ghana has started dumping refined product on us and I congratulate them while I am here shaking my head for Nigeria with full annoyancewhat I Dont understand is where did we get it wrong as a country

What exactly did Zik stand to gain from Nzeogwu's coup?

1. Balewa dies, Akintola dies, the Military boys takes over, sending Zik into early political retirement like they sent Shagari. I don't know how the fact that the military boys were Northerners helped Shagari's political career, so I am really sweating to see how the Igbo military hijacking power works to Zik's favour.

What Awo stood to gain from Nzeogwu's coup.

1. Akintola who had sent him into political irrelevance became dead and gone, Balewa who sought to kill him for attempting to usurp his government became dead and gone. His two arch enemies were obliterated in a blink of an eye, thunder struck the same place twice, really?

2. Awo who would have ultimately rotted to death in prison and forgotten by his people like Abiola, became a free man again.

3. Not only did he become a free man, his political career was revived as Akintola's death left a vacuum that he easily filled.

Co incidence? For a man who unsuccessfully plotted to usurp the government of the day twice, I would say No.

Awo from a neutral point of view, stood to gain more from Akintola and Balewa death than Zik.

It's simple, you go against Jagaban you cannot WIN! This is simple pure math, 2019 there will be a Northerner as president. The North can be split 50/50 if Tinubu's APC forms a new party and presents a credible Northerner as a candidate. The SE/SS will vote for that candidate as long as the Vice presidential candidate is from that region, the SW will unanimously vote for Tinubu's APC and there you have it!
