TravelRe: Man Attempting To Cross Into Italy By Sea From Libya Changes His Mind (Video) by Emilo(m): 5:24am On Sep 03, 2022
UselessBuharist:
I’ll just make it brief, I was in my early 20’s, my friends talked me into the journey but I didn’t know they were not travelling with us until the day we left Nigeria.

I didn’t have much information about the journey but because they told me it’s easy and fun I left Nigeria with them.

We were first held by rebels in the desert for 28 days, mind you I left Nigeria Feb 3rd 2009 and I got to Libya in March.

The owner of the uncomplicated building we were living brought the police to arrest us 4 days after I got to the house, some guys were arrested but i and some other guys escaped, we ran into the cemetery and slept there till 6AM.

I found a Nigerian who offered to allow me stay in his house, few days later I told him that I got a connection to cross to Italy and I will be living the following day.

The following morning this guy left the house and locked everyone inside, he returned in the evening with 3 guys, a Ghanian and 2 Nigerians. The moment he entered the house he pointed at me saying this is the boy before I knew what was happening they stated beating me asking me to follow them. I resisted and fought back, the landlord heard the noice, he came knocking so the guys quickly ran away.

The following morning this guy asked me to pay him $300 before he will allow me leave, I said you should have said that instead of bringing people to beat me up. Then I gave him the money and left his house to the camp from where we were to be taken to the sea side.

The same night we were taken to the sea side, when we got there we were ask to sit on the floor and not make noice, about 3 minutes later a small balloon boat came and was taking us 30/30 to the big boat, I was on the 3rd batch, few minutes after I entered the big boat, we saw boats coming towards our direction behold they were coast patrol.

The person that was to sail our boat told everyone that we will all die instead of him to allow the police arrest him then he zoomed off, the police chased our boat till they caught us when we were almost out of Libya territory.

We were arrested and taken to prison on Sunday and we broke the prison on Tuesday and escaped. We were chased all night……. Na long story bro I hope I get to document all that happened on that trip one day. I lost my left eye as a result of the beating I got from the guys that were invited to beat me.
Even James Bond no do reach this. Imagine jail break! Thank God for life.
PoliticsRe: ESN Enforces Anti-Grazing Ban In Enugu (Video, Pics) by Emilo(m): 1:29pm On Aug 02, 2022
Someone recently had a dream that Nigeria was under siege by fulani bandits. Simultaneously bandits and cattle headers took over the country. They all had A47 even the ones we know now as beggers. They all attacked simultaneously and took over the country. Pockets of area saved were those that had an anti grazing policy prior to the invasion.

I see this happening cos the person had this dream more than five times in 2 weeks.

Pray for Nigeria

PoliticsRe: 2023: Why The North Would Have No Problem Supporting Peter Obi by Emilo(m): 8:55am On Jul 22, 2022
Omonieme:
Atiku will actually win the SS. Forget the number of educated people. Not all of these educated people will vote Obi. I'm from Edo state and forget the online noise. In Edo north, APC will win convincingly.... This would be further helped by Oshiomole being on the ballot for senate. Edo Central has always been PDP and this won't change. Edo South, LP will post some numbers but PDP will still take the day particularly if they can resolve their internal crises. Now to Delta, with the VP candidate for PDP being from that state and how deep rooted the party is there, I think PDP will win there... Same with Rivvers if Wike is back on board, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers. You talked about the NC. Kogi is predominantly a Muslim state and the Christian part of the state is the Okun people who share culture with Yoruba and will vote on tribal grounds. Seriously, the only sites I can't see APC winning in the NC is d FCT, Plateau and Benue states. Not that the other states will be won with large margins. One of Niger or Nassarawa can even flip to the PDP but not LP. One factor we often overlook in our election postulations is the role of the National assembly candidates in garnering votes. Now, a senatorial candidate or House of reps candidate is closer to the grassroots and can influence votes for himself and by extension, the presidential candidate of his party. Let's not forget Nigerians are not soo politically sophisticated to vote party A for Senate and party B for presidency. And LP not having these candidates in majority of the states will be a major hindrance. And often times, states where they have these candidates, the candidates are not popular neither do they have the resources needed to push a well coordinated grassroots campaign
Okay you have some points even if I don't agree with you. Let's wait and see how it all unfolds.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Why The North Would Have No Problem Supporting Peter Obi by Emilo(m): 7:14am On Jul 22, 2022
Omonieme:
I don't quite agree with your percentages in the SW and SS for Obi. 80% is too much for him in both regions. Remember, these are hitherto PDP strongholds and you'll still expect a good showing from them. I think it should be Obi 40% Atiku 50% and Tinubu 10 in the SS and Obi 70, Atiku 25 and Tinubu 5 in the SE. In these, I'm still being very generous to Obi cause I can't see him outrightly winning any SS state apart from Maybe Edo and I actually expect the 3 parties to put up a good fight there. In the NC, you're aren't being fair to Tinubu. Expect
I don't have issue with ur SE assumption but totally disagree with Atiku percentage for SS. SS have high percentage of educated individuals who will chose change mantra over PDP structure.

If NC is Benue, Kogi, Plateau, Niger and the likes what chances does Tinubu have there after going for muslim muslims team?. These tins matter.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Why The North Would Have No Problem Supporting Peter Obi by Emilo(m): 7:01am On Jul 22, 2022
Omonieme:
This is a very bitter truth but it has to be said. Obi cannot win the 2023 presidency. He's not even in the conversation. For an ibo man to become president, the two major parties have to micro zone the position to the south east. 2022 was a ripe time to fight for that but even south Eastern governors supported the North in zoning the office to the north in PDP.... In summary, the SE has to get their political act together. That said, I'm not a prophet nor a pessimist. An Obi presidency would have been something I'd like to see. Not because I believe he's the messiah or he has the solution to the myriad of problems bedeviling the country nor do I even believe he'll do better than his predecessors but I'd have wanted an Obi presidency in LP to break the stranglehold on our polity by APC and PDP. Unfortunately, it won't happen. One reason it won't happen is, agree or not, tribe plays a huge part in our elections. The online noise might say otherwise. We educated folks might not give much thought to the tribe of a candidate but a farmer in A village in Osun state would rather vote for a fellow Yoruba man than an ibo man. Let's not even talk of the north. Same way an ibo man will vote for his fellow ibo. Secondly, forget talk of structure doesn't matter. Structure does matter and it matters a lot. How do you intend to win a national election when your party doesn't have candidates for most elective positions apart from the presidency? Who takes your campaign alongside theirs to the real grassroot? See, an Obi presidential campaign only benefits a Bola Tinubu presidential gig and harms Atiku's presidential bid. Why u may ask? The SE and SS have traditionally been PDP's strongest bloc. It's where majority of their votes historically come from. Now, these same area is where the Obimania is strongest. This will result in divided votes from PDP strongest bloc. Advantage who? As for Kwankwaso, that one is not serious and will most likely eventually work for Tinubu in the NW. The north east has always been an are where the APC since the days of ANPP has traditionally performed well and I don't see that changing in 2023. Atiku will win Adamawa, Bauchi and Gombe... But not convincingly. Borno and Yobe will go for the APC. In the north Central, Tribe will come in play in Kwara and parts of Kogi. I expect the APC to take the two states. Because of the Muslim Muslim ticket, APC will lose both Plateau and Benue and win Niger and Nassarawa with very low margins. In all, Obi won't win more than 2 or 3 states and they'd all be in the south.
You might disagree with this analysis of mine. Before you do, please check out this auto deal I've got. Imagine a 2011 Benz C300 going for 3.9 million Naira. Sweet right? Well, I've got several more auto deals that will blow your mind. Mobile number is 08089945511. Call or send a WhatsApp message and I'm available to attend to your auto needs. Location is Lagos
Kindly answer this question. Based on Nigerians need for drastic change and spread of educated invidividials. Who do u think is capable of winning some good percentage in each 6 zones?

See my assumption of votes in percentage.

SW - Tinubu will win 60%, Obi 30%, Atiku 10%

SS - Tinubu 10%, Obi 80%, Atiku 10%

SE - Tinubu 5%, Obi 80%, Atiku 15%

NC - Tinubu 10%, Obi 30%, Atiku 60%

NW - Tinubu 20%, Obi 10%, Atiku 70%

NE - Tinubu 15%, Obi 20%, Atiku 65%

TOTAL = Tinubu 120%, Obi 250%, Atiku 230%

In my estimate I have considered 2 factors tribe sentiment, and level of voters education.

Remember in the last election Buhari (APC) lost Abuja and almost Lagos, mainly because of educational prowess of voters over tribe sentiments.

PoliticsRe: Make Nigeria 3 Regions; Make Atiku, Tinubu, Obi Head The 3 Regions -Okey Bakassi by Emilo(m): 11:50pm On Jun 12, 2022
amaks:
If the SE and SW don't unite and present a single candidate that they'll both support, then Atiku is still winning this election. SW alone won't give Tinubu the presidency, so also SE alone won't give Peter.
Forget APC vs PDP divisions, the north is more United by region and they'll give Atiku their votes landslide. Northern APC leaders ànd members will all support and vote for Atiku.
The south still hasn't gotten this simple political sense yet, and the North will continue to use it to their advantage. It's all about numbers, a numbers game. And right now as long as the entire south region doesn't have one single candidate then the North are just watching and smiling to victory, forget about the fact that they northern governor's zoned it to South now. Story. They know that as long as the south doesn't present one candidate then they're sure of victory which is what they really want. They'll all campaign vote for Atiku. U guys don't understand northern political psychology. And the problem is you can't find a compromise between Tinubu and Peter now. None will back down for the other. Hard but difficult truth is, Tinubu should drop down for Peter, or since Tinubu is crazy desperate, they should strike a deal where Peter will be Tinubus vice and Tinubu does one term only (and rest) and Obi takes over and does 2 terms.
Anything short of that just know that power will remain in the north with Atiku taking over after Buhari. It's a game of numbers and the North knows very well that their votes alone is enough to give Atiku almost certain victory. That's the stronghold they hàve that other regions are not attacking, unity and numbers. It's only when SW and SE come together that they can rival the northern votes, but not individually isolated regions. The north knows this well and they are using it to their advantage, everything else they do is just a distraction and deception. They are just watching and laughing now. And with the way elections are becoming more transparent, numbers matter more now
Exactly my tot too. You have made sense,

Then again i think there are number of states you must win to be declared the election winnerhuh?

Comot here how this one concern us

Each time in the history of Nigeria when a punching bag is required, Igbos will always offer themselves up.

I don't know if this is a curse, or just shortsightedness or mere coincidence.

1) pre-coup the west was experiencing a terrorist crisis ( almost similar to what UGM is doing) Nzeogu and friends offered themselves up to be used as punching bags.

2) Abacha VS Abiola, Nzeribe offered himself to be used

3) Jonathan vs Northern cabal, Igbos offered themselves again

4) Tinubu VS Atiku, the delusional Peter Obi presented himself again. instead of Igbos to do the same thing Yorubas always do in any South VS North affair (which is side with the north) they're wasting their time and energy on a fruitless endeavor.

Tinubu and His SWAGA companions would never Dare attack an Northern aspirant, point one Tinubu Supporter attacking Kwankwaso or Atiku.

Peter Obi and Igbos will always be targeted by Tinubuists and SWAGA, If one is following this election online it'll seem like the election is Between Peter Obi/Igbos VS Yoruba/Tinubu.

This is the time Igbos should Take the back seat and just Enjoy the ride, If Peter Obi drops out of the race today.
YOU'LL see the Yorubas will have nothing to campaign with or against, even the northerners that are Political are not Attacking Atiku and his major party, every Ammunition is targeted at Peter Obi and Igbos.

Igbos have Sense, Tell Peter Obi to drop out, the single thing that can bring all Nigerians together is to be Anti-Igbo don't help them strengthen that Anti-Igbo Unity for another 8years, Support Atiku or Tinubu, choose one side, don't allow Peter Obi to run.
I read all you wrote, I swear couldn't see one single sense in it. It's better to try than never trying!

The abnormal state of Nigeria has made all of us not to be able to operate a system where only the best fit the role. Our brains have been mis-educated to reason just like you are reasoning!

Reflect7:
Don't complain of marginalization if you will only consider ''the best'' from your region for the presidency.

The 'best' person rarely emerges from ANY region to win the presidential primaries or presidency in any country.

Was Buhari the 'best' the north had to offer? Nope.

Neither is Tinubu anywhere near the 'best' from the south west.

You MUST be versatile and flexible enough, if circumstances dictate, to push for your '2nd best' and even your '20th best' IF you are serious about grabbing the presidency for your region.
PoliticsRe: This 2023 Election Has BUSTED The MYTH Of Igbo Marginalisation by Emilo(m): 2:11am On Jun 09, 2022
You just wake up to talk nonsense. Does the trend not show u that the Igbo don't think in the line of tribe. Nepotism and tribalism has been the issue of Nigeria.

If I'm Igbo and I believe my Igbo brother (e.g Rochas) will not be capable to lead, why vote him? Shld I vote him cos he is Igbo.

Look at Peter Obi speeches and mind set. Does he sound tribalistic. It tells u the mindset of a typical Igbo man. Let the best come forward and rule irrespective of tribe.......Look at where Buhari tribalistic tendencies landed Nigeria. Putting dull people in positions just because they are northerns. This is exactly what may happen with Tinubu and Nigeria remains where it is.

Think deep before you talk next time!

Please I would like to appeal to successful applicants to add more details to their timelines especially on the amount of funds they presented for POF to guide others when they apply.

More than 80% of refusal reasons for applicants from Nigeria are related to POF, therefore stating the amounts will help others know what they should strive to have before submitting their application. I know applications aren't the same but knowing what has worked for others will help new applicants.
Good suggestion! Please let's comply. Also, has anyone been asked to present updated account statement?
