Take a walk to the pedestrian flyover on the main highway. Cross over to the park and get in a bus going to Eko Hotel roundabout. Alight at the roundabout which is the last bustop and ask for Akwa Ibom liaison office on Ajose Adeogun street. Almost facing it is the famed Muri Okunola street of your dream company. Cross over to the street, buy a bottle of water from the street vendor on your right to cool fretting nerves grin . Facing you at that point will be the place you would resume work on August 1, 2015. Walk in an kill the interview. Cheers! cool
Haha, see you August... Many thanks.

Let me make this clear, that there are 3 Lines of Service in PwC Nigeria and these are Assurance, Tax and Regulatory Services, and Advisory. Feel free to choose any of these based on your career goal.

@funkystanly
Hi, thanks for your help so far. However, in the interview invite documents were provided for only TRS and Assurance . I really am interested in Advisory and a bit confused as to what department to choose, as it seems the recruitment is for the previous two mentioned. So could you clarify a bit.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: KPMG Graduate Trainee 2014(test Of June 14 @ Chams) by eminado: 3:59pm On Jan 24, 2015
1. An experience you had and how it helped you in life, 2. Then compare and contrast the difference between knowledge derived from books and the one derived from experience explaining which you think is more important

Instruction is to choose one, 30mins
Jobs/VacanciesRe: KPMG Graduate Trainee 2014(test Of June 14 @ Chams) by eminado: 1:07pm On Jan 24, 2015
Okay let me provide some info, I just completed the test at chams computer and essay writing. 60 mins to complete 50 questions, a mix of maths, verbal, current affairs. If you complete this and pass the screen shows if you are successful or not. After which you move to another room if successful and write the essay. If anyone says there's no essay it means they did not pass the first stage and are out of the recruitment process. So apparently you write your essay on the same day. Now I'm waiting for results from the essay which would be sent next week friday or upper.Good luck to everyone.

I asked this question previously and no one replied. I didnt put anything in the study points achieved since I do not understand it. For average grade I wrote my CGPA. For examination results/title I wrote my class of degree but they may imply BsC, LLB, e.t.c

Hope that helps.
Thanks, it does help.

That's an admirable feat, congrats. What did you study, if I may ask? a 4year course? Probably from a private university? Then you applied for a one-year taught Masters in perhaps one of those UK schools while observing the NYSC? Lol. Don't mind me. But of course, I can't be totally wrong. Rather than toot your horn or sound solipsistic, you need to understand not everyone can be opportuned to achieve all of those at such age. Not because they aren't smart, but primarily because the Nigerian educational system isn't conducive for such.

It's easier to talk about tapping into original ideas than putting those words to action. You seem like a proponent of such ideology owing to your advice, but of what use is channelling productivity into an original idea "no matter how insignificant it might seem"?

PS: There is no such thing as an original idea. There is nothing new except what has been forgotten.

"Books serve to show a man that those original thoughts of his aren't
very new after all." — Abraham Lincoln
But of course I understand what you mean which is why I tried to pass a message without making myself seem all that. I completed nysc before masters though. When I say original I do not mean an entirely new concept, I mean that in the context of the Nigerian economy for which such would be relatively new.

Now a friend I know of who decided staying at home wasn't cutting it and went around fast food outlets and the likes trying to discover a major issue affecting their services. From the replies she got from a survey conducted via knowledge from the projects all final year students carry out she has been able to become a supplier of a product to these establishments gradually building her customer base.

So yes some one dealt the wrong hand of the Nigerian educational system, might find moving toward bleak with stringent conditions for recruitment like this. But all I want to say is that opportunities indeed abound.

PHIPEX:
These people keep encouraging deceit in the system. They said the offer is open to those with masters or bachelors degree and for those who finished their service in the last 4years yet they are putting 25yr cap on it. How many Nigerian engineers graduated, had their masters and are through with NYSC before age 25? This will simply make many people to doctor their age to suit employers' demand.
They've knocked so many brilliant guys off on age ground, goodluck to them.
Well I'm 22 and I've completed nysc and master's, so not to sound arrogant but this people aim to get the best and try to make the entry requirements as rigid as possible. However, Nigeria in its present state has limitless opportunities which creative ones are tapping into. It would be wise if you and everyone could channel productivity into any original idea no matter how insignificant it might seem.

Huzzie: People do that a lot because NYSC prints your certificate after camp...but I can never advise anybody to go through the back door.I'm purely Legit
So happy I stumbled on this thread, I'm also inthe same shoes as I got a scholarship for Msc in a Uk school. I am also to pass out in October this year but my school"s latest start date is 23rd Sept, and if I'm not there I'll have to forfiet the scholarship. So please give me the legit advice because I don't want to use someone and end up in more problems cos of my Nysc certificate. Thanks

humble_dove: [EDITED] Yes, you're right sir. The rules also said that the 28 days will be counted from the day of closing balance(print date) backwards. So in essence, they should count from print date backwards and once 28 days is reached, discard other transactions above. I think that's the logical thing to do although I don't trust them (ECOs) because of what they did to me. And please sir, help advise on my question. Thanks.
You are very correct, I used my father's statement which was even dated back to 2012, but just made sure the rule that states the money should be in the account for 28 consecutive days was followed and the balance at the end of the statement covering the stated rule was not more than 31 days prior to my visa application. These people simply stick to their rules, we applicants simply make mistakes in interpretin them.

Gods-child:
Of course its risky! But if I were you, I won't let that bar me from traveling. NYSC is almost over for 12C, its just a matter of weeks. Msc scholarship in the UK is not something that comes cheaply like that, its worth the risk.
So I shouldn't bother going to the state coordinator but look for someone to collect it.
