Ok, thank God. Stop all creams and use vaseline for d meantime. Then for now iron his clothes even his house clothes and his beddings. Be patient and keep applying d cream, it will finally go.

I have been to the doctor twice in a week, it cleared when we started the treatment and resurfaced again 4 days later, I was given a tablet to dissolve in water and give lo to drink when we went the second time. I noticed a little improvement this evening, the swelling reduced so am really praying it goes away completely.

Don't use vaseline (will coat the skin and not allow it to breathe) or shea butter (it's a nut by-product, like peanut butter). What cream did he prescribe, a steriod or something like white Parafin? What exactly did the doctor say was wrong with him? He seems to be treating for an allergy and maybe trying to prevent an infection entering through bruised skin. Why did your son start itching, did he itch? What happened in the last 12 hours before he started showing those welts? Write it down carefully.

My daughter usually starts showing skin irritation to Pampers in about 4 hours (severe scratching, at night wih heat, to the point that she breaks her skin). It's a perfume allergy: something synthetic they use in Pampers diaper to mask the smell. So you need to know what you're dealing with.

I really can't tell what caused the reaction, I woke up in the morning and noticed them on his skin. The doctor also said its an allergic reaction but can't tell what actually caused it. I fed lo a little tuwo and okra soup made with ice fish the night before but that wasn't the first time he was eating that combo. Thanks ma

you need to drill down to the source of the allergy. Don't use soap for a few days and oil his body with shea butter or vaseline only! Rinse his clothes more thoroughly too! avoid seafood, nuts and dairy products for now. No okra too.

I was given vit c, ibuprofen syrup, loratadine, and amoxycilin. He was also prescribed 3k cream. Thank you Mama

Sabi mama's something has been troubling and giving me sleepless nights. I have been to the hospital and been religiously giving lo the medications prescribed but this allergy persist. Help me out, pls who has experienced this

sayyody I introduced potty to my lo immediately he learnt how to sit, I monitored the time he poo which was usually morning and that was how he learnt to use potty. When he started teething I couldn't monitor his stooling time and using potty became a challenge. Now we have resumed using potty sha, though stressful cos he always wants to grab something

Feddy27 I am using pampers premium and Angel wipes though we changed wipes last week to VIP when we didn't get the Angel wipes.

I think his own is diaper rash o, leave him with just pants for some hours and alsorub the coconut oil+shea butter. That was what we did at 5 months. this time around its a big red patch on the scrotum

Yes that's his intestine struggling with the load gastrointestinal disturbance is a side effect of babies drinking cows milk! It's just too dense for their fragile and developing system.

I find it hard to sleep inside a mosquito net, I always feel as if I'm choking whenever I'm sleeping with it and when I wake up I always v burning skin. I spread it outside for one week self before using it. Is there any other alternative apart from mosquito nets for prevention of malaria, my dd don't like sleeping inside her cot again, she prefers sleeping beside me. As I'm even typing this my face is on fire, I just removed the mosquito net and spread it outside again.
Sorry for the long story but please help a sister.

I also react to the treated mosquito net, my whole body feels burnt and I feel stuffy in it. I wash with detergent and rinse before use. Though I have stopped using it

Pls mamas, for someone place on strict bed rest, how do dey bath, poo, urinate, eat, dress up. I am jez thinking aloud cos I read here that no standing up except in extreme cases. pls pardon my ignorance

My aunt who was placed on strict bed rest walks gently and slowly and doesn't stand for long. She takes her bath while sitting. Infact she does everything gently
