You must think its funny. With how much he probably knows, he is not even safe outside as fugitive. UK will not ignore a red notice. Don't try it o wink
His arrest was illegal in the first place. You don't place on house arrest executives of a company and use soldiers to guard them with no evidence of their crimes.

The Binance executives were not convicted before any competent court. Therefore the cries for interpol to arrest a foreigner over an allegation will not hold water. Rather the Nigerian government will be sanctioned if Binance takes this to an international court.

If we are being honest, South East leaders owe Kanu nothing. In the spirit of brotherhood, I must appreciate those who have made efforts to secure his release and those who have visited him in prison.

That being said, Kanu ridiculed, insulted and threatened the South East leaders. Ike Ekweremadu was even beaten up during a New Yam festival in Germany 😁😁😁 You cannot insult me, the state picks you up, and you start feeling that I owe you your release. Mbanu, o dighi eme-eme!
You made a valid point. You can't ridicule me and yet want me to come to your aid.

Always clever by half. Well, many of us who know your antecedents on Nairaland aren't disappointed with what you wrote because it was expected. Why should Ndigbo accept a coup planned and executed by the military as theirs? Perhaps, you're privy to information that we don't know, where Ndigbo held a meeting and asked the coupists to execute a coup on their behalf? Just read the gibberish you wrote and tell me if you're proud of such thoughts. You labeled the revenge counter-coup Northern coup and not Hausa/Fulani coup even when the main coup plotter Muritala Mohammed was an Hausa/Fulani from Kano, yet a coup led by Nzeogwu an Igbo from the Mid-West should be tagged Igbo and not southern coup. If middlebelters like Gowon, Danjuma etc participated in the revenge coup that made it Northern according to you, didn't other southerners like Ademoyega, Fola Oyewole etc not participants in the Southern coup that you now tag Igbo coup?

Perhaps, let me puncture your self bloated ego. You want Ndigbo to accept a coup, yet failed to tell us where the Hausa/Fulani accepted the revenge coup against Ironsi as an Hausa/Fulani sponsored coup? Tell us where the counter-coup sponsored by Gowon against Muritala was tagged a Berom/Kanke coup? What about the coup by Buhari, Babangida, Orkar and Abacha, have you tagged them by their tribes even when they were the main sponsors and beneficiaries?

Lastly, using that coup that happened over 50 years ago to justify the failed leadership of the country called Nigeria despite successive years of Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba dominated rule shows how myopic you are. So Ndigbo should remain the scapegoat for the failure of leadership at the center. If we agree that Ironsi with his military authoritarian rule in just few months in power made changes to the Nigerian constitution, what stops other successive military leaders with the more authority, jumbo bruteness and more years in power to revert the decree back to what it was.

This is 2024. Perhaps we can forgive you for being myopic in 2023, but when a person makes it a duty to be not just sentimental but parochial in matters that concern Ndigbo, then people have the right to start asking questions on the mental capacity and health of the individual in question.
Honest and brutal knockout grin grin. But in all sincerity all you said about the Deadlytruth is nothing but the truth. I've never seen someone as clingy as the dude when it comes to Igbo thread. Never objective, always sentimental.

The greatest wonder of the world and perhaps of Nairaland is that this thread never made front page. When the Igbos accuse the mods of favoring the Ronu bigots, this is what they meant.

But nothing spoil. History will continue to vindicate the just and shame the wicked.

See them awon Ronu chanters deny themselves. They’ll never admit their failing but want to push it to others. So Lagos indigenes don’t Japa? I never knew when Lagos began granting non-indigenes Certificate of Indigeneship to run international passports. We all saw the uproar that occurred when some northerners tried joining the army with Lagos indigene certificates.

The ivorian's game today was a clear case of "work like an elephant, but eat like an ant". Yes, they won the game at the end but they were so poor at converting chances. They held possession for most of the game, yet they could only equalize with a penalty. If they should meet Nigeria yet again, their only hope of winning will be taking the game to penalty.
Objective analysis.

What tactics are the so-called good teams playing that the Super Eagles aren’t playing. Any team that can force the best team to become ordinary and beat them is a good team as well. Nigeria has shown all traits of a winning team. Defense wins you trophies. Nigeria has the best defense in this tournament so far and one of the hottest strikers in African football. No team will wish to play this Super Eagles team.

Nigeria has played hard teams. Unfortunately many of you fans seems to be underrating the Super Eagles. The Super Eagles are the team to beat in this tournament truth be told. We beat this same Ivory Coast that the Senegalese are finding hard to play. Even the Equatorial Guinean side we drew with will be handy to any team.

Oshimen has been our best player so far. Most of the amateur coaches criticizing him don’t know football. His link up play has been excellent. Aggression excellent and on/off the ball movement excellent. Even the chance he got came from a bad cross that he still manage to connect to the post. The own goal that was scored came from his positioning and movement.

Osihmen has been lacking quality services in this match and is forced to track back to get the ball. What’s the job of Chukwueze, Moses, Aribo and Osayi doing in this match. None is helping the midfield. None is helping the attack. The defenders like Omeruo, Ajayi and Bassey are always stuck at the back leaving a wide space for the Guineans to utilize.

The coach should begin to look for good wingers to replace the likes of Simon and Chukwueze. Chukwueze is confused and an embarrassment.
Great analysis bro.

Benin Landgrabber stay clear of Delta North and go do your Landgrabbing elsewhere. Jim Ovia and Tony Elumelu are proud Igbos and if it pains you then use a rope. Imagine how you jumped into an innocent thread to display your ignorance.

You can't tell Anioma people where they belong by bringing up ancient migration which no base. If so, then many tribes in Yorubaland won't be called Yoruba today since they migrated from the so-called Benin empire mostly those in Owo Ondo state. In addition, we might begin to call Benin people Yoruba's since Oranmiyan migrated from Ife. We can also call many parts of Isoko Igbo's too since many migrated from Igboland. But you'll never see Igbos do this since they've now ethnically assimilated with their host tribe. Only you lots from Benin are champions of landgrabbing in a bid to bring back a dead Benin Empire that was built by the Portuguese.

Unlike you Benin's, Igbos don't landgrab tribes we are not related with. We are only concerned with those that share ethnic affiliation with us in Language and culture and the colonial masters have long carved Nigerian ethnic groups accordingly before independence. Therefore, anybody looking to landgrab tribes in this modern age is simply wasting their time and you Benin's should be very careful.

Second, I observed your falsification of Jim Ovia's surname which you think is Benin since it’s sounds so. For your information the Ovia you think is Benin is a pure Igbo name. It's just a dialectical differentiation from Central Igbo Ohia which means forest. Now it takes different forms and becomes Ofia, Ovia, Ohia, Oshia in several parts of Igboland. While it's called Ovia in Ika, Aguleri, Awka, Ohafia etc, it becomes Ofia in places like Onitsha, Asaba, Nkpor etc. Additionally, the Ovia is similar to names like Isibor and Irabor which are deep Igbo names that many of you in Edo now bear and think are Benin names.

Third, The 6 Odiani clan which you rightly called Olukunmi are proud Igbos from Aniocha. The only thing that connects them with Yoruba is simply migration. They are proud Igbos and are part and parcel of the Igbo nation, sharing one destiny with us from the pre-independence, to the civil war to modern Nigeria. Anybody looking to grab must first cross into Igboland and will get a proper response not from us but the Odiani people themselves.
Proper response.

Never again shall Ndigbo be manipulated by IPOB/PDP fake news to rally behind a fraudster. If Nnamdi Kanu cannot survive small detention in prison, then he no business championing a secessionist movement.

If Mandela could survive almost 3 decades in prison to racist apartheid government, then Nnamdi Kanu should consider Nigerian prison as a chilling room. Why? Because he’s in safe hands as the Presidency is conscious about keeping him well and healthy until his trial.

IPOB should be careful of their utterances as no one is falling for it anymore, not Igbo elites, not Ohaneze and not Igbo intelligentsia. They should stay clear from political manipulations by failed politicians who want to use them to return back to power. At the appropriate time, we’ll ask the federal government to consider lightening his sentence to parole and possibly rehabilitate both him and his IPOB followers.

Let me state here that IPOB does not represent Ndigbo. Nnamdi Kanu’s cause should be separated from the aspirations of Ndigbo. Ndigbo have table their request in several national conferences, and will keep following the armbit of legality to fight for a just and egalitarian Nigeria where all tribes are treated equal.
