Mummy Debbie,I am tired of applying to these jobs adverts pls.

How can I stay glued to this thread for the past 3 months with different applications to your adverts here without getting even a common invite? It sounds funny right?

At a time,I began to think if these adverts posted here are for real!

And besides,I haven't seen people come back to this thread to make comments of getting jobs. The chance is obviously less than 3% of the total views on this thread.

Common guys,I dont wanna be fooled.
Two questions dear

1, Do you apply for the jobs that you are well qualified for? I hope you are not the type to apply to any vacancy. Identify your desired career and craft your CV to suit that career. Always include your cover letter which should directly or indirectly state why you should be hired.

2, Are you confident of your CV? Is your CV unique in content and appealing to the eyes? If you are not sure, it's okay to ask for assistance in that regard.

Additional question dear, Do you network? Most jobs are gotten through referrals and man know man grin grin grin
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Updated-New Job Vacancies by Emmaesty(f): 9:07pm On Jun 28, 2017
Appliedmaths:
I've gotten 3 jobs on nairaland, that's after my too much shakara. Obviously something is wrong with your application process, either CV or cover letter or not strictly adhering to application formats or not being qualified in the first place. I would have loved to carry your mata for my head but you spoke I'll and not grateful so I'll pass, I pray heaven remembers you soon (that's me being nice).

Edited

On a second thought, send me a PM I wanna help review your application process. Don't be frustrated fam! I know say life strong one kind

Cheer up and network with sound minds.

According to an unofficial but trusted source we should be able to start printing our call up letter on the 29th of this month which is tomorrow...so let's keep our fingers crossed...hope is all we have right now
In as much as NYSC is disorganized, they cannot release call up letter without a timetable of activities.

I'm having suicidal thoughts because of my poor grades in school.
I'm so tired.. i read for more than 8hours daily but I still fail... 200l sitting on a 1.8 cgpa with loads of carryover courses. I feel like a complete failure.

At the rate at which I'm having suicidal thoughts these days I'm scared that one day I might just do it ... I need your help I don't want to kill myself.
I cant even think straight anymore

Hi Boole

Reading 8 hours daily won't help your cgpa. Trust me, it won't. You're just stressing your brain out which will reduce your retention level.

Let me give you a fee tips that helped me in school.

1. Read less: Read for 3 hours everyday with 15 mins break every 30 mins grin. This will help your retention levels and would put less stress on your brain.

2. Read Smart: Focus on what your lecturer is most likely to set in exams. You know that topic that your lecturer talks passionately about? Read it and go over it again.
Study his pattern for setting questions. Does he ask a particular topic every year? What topic(s) does he repeat a lot. Be very close to your past questions.

3. Have a study group: Having a bunch of friends who always make A's goes a very long way. The more you walk with them, the more you'll want to be like them and even surpass them. They might even share a few tricks with you.

4. Read and Revise: Start reading from the beginning of the semester. Stop that bad habit of reading a few weeks to the exam. It doesn't help anybody. When you read a particular topic, read it over and over until you can explain it even in your dreams.

5. Set Goals : Always have it written down what you want to score in a particular course. Don't just think it, write it down. Go over it daily too

6. Pray: Prayer is highly necessary. Do your best and leave the rest for God.

Suicide isn't an option. You can still graduate with a 2.2. Just believe grin

You know we have newbies here and fresh graduate who are alliterate. They only focus on specifics dear.
It's "spoon fed" and not "spoon feeded"

Nice narrative dear. A good lesson for us to learn.

I would have enjoyed the narrative more if only typed in sentence case. Upper case(CAPS) is a bit distracting and gives us the opinion that you are shouting.

God bless
