I’ve come to terms with my observations about supporters of the presidential flag bearers of #APC,#PDP and #LP.

The supporters of APC/Tinubu are mostly those that rely on government patronage, the existing corrupt system, brief-case/portfolio contractors and businessmen who have no viable means of livelihood or ability to create wealth outside of government. They depend solely on government to live.

The supporters of PDP/Atiku are mainly those who did not benefit from APC’s maladminstration, with hope that Atiku’s presidency will somehow allow them make money from the treasury, they are so used to free money from their days in government that the last 7 years have so impoverished them and they can’t wait to take over.
They have almost same Idiology as the APC except that one is in power and the other can’t wait to replace the one in power. Nothing dissimilar.

As for LP/Obidients, the supporters are mostly self- reliant people, whose only dream is to have a working government. They believe Nigeria has great and enormous potentials and can work again. They want a new beginning for Nigeria; a change from the endemic corruption that has been the bane of Nigeria’s development. They want a RESET. They want Nigeria to be productive by industrialization. They want a shift from consumption to production. They want to get the ports working efficiently and effectively. They want to tackle insecurity by creating jobs through industrializing the #economy. They want every child of school age to be in school because they understand that an educated populace Is a productive populace.

May God help us choose wisely.

Sir, I have chosen this medium to write you believing that somehow you might get to see it.
I am a fellow Nigerian of Igbo extraction but sincerely one that loves this Country just like you, the more reason I am writing you this letter.

Sir, your antecedents speak highly of you especially in the areas of personal integrity and love for the Country. I therefore plead that whatever you do, remember that with the mission and vision you two have , this Country can work again. I therefore implore

1. Closing ranks with Obi will not only be a Success story but will endear you to the hearts of many as one who loves justice knowing that the South East has been denied a place in the leadership of this Nation.

This is totally a wrong account of what happened in Ihiala. IPOB WAS NOT involved in what happened at Ihiala.
UGM members who have been acting as if they are IPOB'S ESN invaded a burial ceremony in Ihiala, Anambra State, shooting sporadically. They demanded to know why the family did not come to settle them before carrying out the burial. Unknown to them the a rival group was around. After a long gun battle, the rival group neutralized them including their leader named double Lion and carried the bodies.

This story is more of a litmus test for the credibility of Nairaland as a reliable and fact finding organization. Trust me, I hardly write but when I do, I always follow up.

Yes, these three are among some of our Uli sons that we love so much and are ever proud of. However, I refuse to keep quiet at such high level of deceit and misinformation contained in the above quoted publications. The University town of Uli, in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State has been neglected by various governments most especially the lying Obiano government despite the fact that the town is of a great historical relevance in the Country. The Nigeria / Biafra war took its toll on the town because of the location of the Biafran airstrip. Yet, no government either Federal or State has deemed it fit to do anything for the town. The good people of the town have taken their fate in their own hands and have embarked on several projects including solar street lights, speed breakers and so many others.
However, I am at a loss at which Uli E-money and Kay Cee constructed 2.5km of road and where they mounted the solar lights they are talking of. As I sit to type this with a clear vision of E-money 's country home, the road in front of his village mansion is impassable. Where then did he construct the 2.5km road in Uli?
Now Henry Iyke, yes, you installed solar light along Danak Road up to your house which is less than half a kilometer. You equally proposed constucting the less than half kilometer road but then why claiming that you have already constructed 3km road for Uli People? Please, no offense meant, but, is it the same Uli in Ihiala LGA that you guys are talking about?
Love or hate me, these clarifications have become necessary to avoid anyone using the name of Uli to receive compensations for projects that do not exist.
Prof Soludo should not be given the erroneous impression that Uli is being developed by you guys while we are indeed suffering from unmentionable and unprintable neglect.
Truth be told if not for the self determination of Uli Youths and the likes of Dr ABC Ojiakor, MD SEPLAT ENERGY PLC, Engr Fort Dike and a few others, Uli people might have lost hope in areas of development by now.

Around 2AM this morning, UGM sent to hell three purportedly notorious armed robbers that had been terrorizing the University town of Uli in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State. The said robbers were said to have claimed being UGM at several occasions while carrying out their dastardly acts.

Report the laptop as stolen to the police. You will be asked if you suspect anyone. Tell them yes and mention her name and address. The police will get a search warrant and storm her house. She will spend good time explaining and proving that she did not steal it but at least you will have your laptop back.

The Comptroller of Immigration Service CIS MIKE LENAAN DAMA has assumed office as the 16th Comptroller of Delta state Command Asaba.CIS Mike Lennan Dama replaced CIS IJEGWA E ONOBU, the immediate past Comptroller of the state who retired earlier in the year.The acting Comptroller DCI MAUREEN M AMAICHIGH handed over to the new Comptroller who untill his recent posting, was the Comptroller Investigation and Compliance Zone A Lagos.
Speaking after the brief ceremony, the new Comptroller, CIS Dama reiterated his resolve to make the Command better than he met it and promised to push the Command forward as one of the best in Service delivery, officers' welfare and infrastructural development.
In his remarks, after taking over, CIS Dama said,
"I am here to give Delta State Command of the Service, a new face.
Officers' welfare will be my utmost priority while doing everything in my power to make this Command one of the best in Customer Service delivery in line with International best practices the World over".
The mission and vision of the Ag Comptroller - General, Idris Jere, for the Nigeria Immigration Service, must be jealously guarded hence I call on all officers and men of this Command to join hands with me so as to achieve these lofty dreams.

Uli town is a quiet and peaceful town in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State. The town means different things to different people and these include home to the then Biafran Airport, home to industrialists like Dr ABC Orjiakor, Igirigi and others. Besides boasting of celebrities like E-money and Kcee, it is also home big time politicians like one time governor of Anambra State, Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Hon Engr Fort Ifeanyi Dike a former member of the House of Reps, Hon Vitalis Okafor and a host of others. Despite all these, the town has continued to suffer neglect from both the government and it's leaders. While the town has been without light for well over ten years, the roads are so deplorable that they can be best described as death traps. Recently, while addressing one of the social media platforms in the town, the ex-legislator made some revelations.
These are his words. "Not withstanding that I was a first-timer in the House Of Representatives, I was able to not only make the Uli Girls/Mgbachi Road an official Federal Government Road (Connecting Onitsha/Owerri Road to Ihiala/Orlu Road) but got the Federal Ministry Of Works to award a Road contract of N770 million for the construction of the Uli Girls/Mgbachi/Amaofuo/Isseke/Orlu Road Junction, also with payment for Mobilization. Unfortunately, the then Minister Of Works insisted on giving the said Road contract to his fellow Edo man, instead of either Julius Berger or any of the big name Road Contractors. The Edo Contractor started the Road but abandoned the Road as soon as I was not re-elected".

Of late the fiery priest of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has been in the news since he withdrew his support for the government in power which he hitherto supported.
He has been called so many names including fake prophet and has even been accused of withdrawing his support because he was refused juicy contracts.
While I do not want to dwell on any of these, I want to address the only two questions that have been on the lips of many?
The question is, "is it possible for God to tell him yes during the elections and now to tell him no?
My simple answer is YES!
In Isaiah 38 :5, God sent prophet Isaiah to King Hezekiah and told him that he would not recover from his illness and will surely die.
On hearing this, King Hezekiah wept bitterly and cried unto God. He reminded God of his past obedience and pleaded for mercy. Guess what? God heard him and overruled himself.
Yes, God over ruled himself and sent Isaiah back to King Hezekiah with the good news that He had added 15 years to the kings life.
Now, the question is, does that make Isaiah a false prophet?
Believe it or not, Fr Mbaka is a man of God and has proven that he is an instrument through which God is working!
On the part of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, I expect nothing less.
Even in our personal environments, once you exhibit any sign of knowledge, experience or excellence, you become a target for haters.
I pray that God will continue anointing the priest afresh daily for the great work he is doing in the Lord's vineyard.
If you can't deal with it, then simply allow the priest be.
