I remember as a kid in primary school, we used to organize ourselves and fetched water, firewood and even did farm work for some childless aged women in Umudioka - Ukwu Orlu not minding that we were not from there but merely residing with our parents.

Electricity has taken us over fifty million naira (50,000,000.00) so far, yet the light is not yet in full capacity, still spending more to consummate it's steadiness; and yet we have a government.

The Anambra State Police Command has reacted to the viral video of three people purportedly killed in Ihiala.
The Statement clarifies that the victims were not killed in Ihiala but rather in a neighborhouring town that is in Imo State.
They were rather brought to Our Lady of Lord's Hospital in Ihiala where they were certified dead.

ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND DIARY:

*TRENDING VIDEO OF ALLEGED ATTACK ON SOME VEHICLES NOT IN IHIALA LGA OF ANAMBRA STATE*

The attention of the Anambra State Police Command has been drawn to a trending video clip which has gone viral in the social media showing a white Toyota Hilux with registration number Kogi BJK-527-AA with two male occupants fatally injured in which the recorder claimed the incident took place in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State.

The report which neither states the date nor time of the incident is absolutely misleading with the tendency of creating tension and panic in the State.

Meanwhile, preliminary inquiry conducted by the Command revealed that the alleged incident took place at Awoidemili community in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo state. Victims were only rushed to our lady of Lords hospital, Ihiala where they were comfirmed dead by the medical doctor. Consequently,the Divisional Police headquarters where the incident took place in Imo State had since commenced investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Command wonders why the recorder could not cross check his facts with the Police in a sensitive matter such as this before sharing on the social media. The Command insists that calls for victim support in accident or security related situations and indeed other reports by social media users must be distinct and devoid of mischief of any kind.

In view of the foregoing, the Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* urges the public to disregard the misleading video report and further assures them of adequate Security protection in Anambra State.

Just this afternoon about three men where shot dead in Ihiala, a town in Anambra State.
The men were shot inside a hilux truck with Kogi registration number.
Although more details are yet to emerge, a video that is presently going viral is calling for people who may know the victims to please identify them.

The name emoney is a household name especially in the entertainment industry. He has together with his brother Kaycee taken the entertainment industry beyond the 21st century. Despite being trailblazers in the music industry, this duo have one other thing in common and that is their love for their home town Uli and it's people.
This love they have continued to show in so many ways including building a State of the Art Studio in the town and several other developmental projects both completed and ongoing.
Few days ago, this duo stormed their home town in style and were received like kings.
I took out time to find out what the indigenes feel about them and it was praises all the way.
The President General of the Uli Progressive Union, Engr Tob Obiagazie had this to say : " I am highly impressed with emoney and his bother Kaycee. Their humility easily reminds one of ABC Orjiakor who despite all he has done for this town remains accessible even to the poorest of the poor".
The Prime Minister of the town, Hon Brr Vitalis Okafor seems to agree with this as he described the duo as " worthy sons of Uli that should be emulated."
In a phone conversation with the Coordinator and Chairman of NKWADO ODIMMA ULI, a Non-profit organization totally geared towards the development of the town, chief Nwabunwanne Akunne Ikenwokwu said that " Uli nwere mmadu and these two brothers are part of our pride as a town.
Already, Uli, the University town in Ihiala LGA is agog with merriment since the arrival of these heroes.

The men os the Special Anti-robbery Squad aka SARS have unravelled the whereabouts of a missing doctor in Okija Anambra State.
In a confessional statement from the suspects, details have emerged as to how the doctor was lured, murdered and buried in a shallow grave by his own cousin and his group.

Uli, a fast developing University town in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State was yesterday the 19th day of June 2020 shaken to its foundations as the body parts of an unidentified woman were found littered in a surrounding bush in Umuoma village.
Eye witnesses were however, quick to point out that no blood was found at the scene thereby lending credence to the theory that the victim could have been murdered somewhere else before being taken to the Bush for disposal.
It was equally learnt that some body parts were also missing including the head.
However, the suspicion that the victim might be an indigene was seen as most unlikely since none of the locals has been able to identify the victim up to this moment.
