Thank you pretty much for being honest, consistent, and reliable. It was indeed a pleasure doing business with you. The roof work was painstakingly done, and I'm delighted at the final outlook.

I must say that Ayub is highly reliable and trustworthy. You don't have anything to worry about. His customer-focus attitude is commendable.

Keep it up man!

@ Sunvick,

Is there any reference to what you posted on speaking? Wondering if only speaking could fetch one the 10 pts?

sunvick:
Sorry zili, you got zero point with this score, if you had gotten 7.0 in Speaking that earns you 10points. You would have to re sit for it.

@splendidT. Sorry about d outcome.

@ Ebonychic. Don't you think that might reduce her chances?

ebonychic18:
I think you should reapply after about a month. And better still reapply alone. Let hubby serve as a tie. Still maintain the same purpose of visit. And make sure you go with your burden of proof and one more thing don't push forward or offer any document until it's requested for. It is well. God will grant you favour.

LagosNIV:
You can apply and then have your passport information updated at the time of the interview.
There are no estimated ranges - you should contact a hospital and have an actual plan though. Once you begin corresponding with the hospital they will provide you price estimates for everything.
Thank you.

Kudos for havings such a platform as this.

I seek clarification on the below:
My wife and I plan to apply for a B1/B2 visa for the purpose of childbirth. However, my passport will expire in November, and I can't renew yet (since it's not yet 6 months to expiration). I also do not want my wife to apply 'too late' (all in the name of waiting for my passport to be renewed) - I fear eligibility to apply when she's heavily pregnant may affect her chances of getting a visa. How best can we go about this?

Thanks.
Thanks for the brief.

Better put:
Do I have to wait until I have a renewed passport in order to apply or I could just go ahead? Kindly advice.
Is there an officially estimated range of money one should have in account for the purpose of child birth?

Thanks.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Still A Jobseeker? How Have You Been Coping? by emmanjo: 11:33am On Feb 05, 2013
Gorimakpa: i have been working on and off for three years since after nysc, none can be called a good job. Just managing, and earning less than one needs to settle down and start living an enjohbale life. Yet I have written countless tests and attended several interviews with many big organisations, government agencies etc. No way. At the end of the day, you would hear that some people with connection got employed in these places through the back door.

The bitter truth is that 95% of the good jobs in naija especially government, top companies, etc go to those with connections. The rest of us who dont have connections are left to scramble for the 5% left, and manage all the other poor paying and unstable jobs. Its good to be optimistic, but it is also not good to deceive yourself in order to avoid disappointment. The sad thing is that some of us have clocked around 30 years, and you know that almost all the good companies now would tell you they want only applicants that are less than 26 years, with 2.1 bla bla. How does one cope?

the solution is to keep trying your luck, and attend events where you may meet influential top shots, and tell them your situation. Sometimes one can get big connection from a stranger, not only from your family member.

I do not agree totally with your statistics on 95% of jobs are based on man-know-man. While I know this is true the statistics isn't true. Besides, we need to 'dis-harm' our minds and paradigm from thinking this way...it won't help and can even further make us depressed. I know of a good number of friends, very good number of friends who got wonedrful jobs without knowing anybody/man.

Personally, I have had 3 offers in less than a year, without knowing anybody(2 very big multinationals and one indigenous oil servicing firm) and worked with 2 of the companies. Infact, I started work with one of them 4days to the end of my NYSC. Oh! I didn't make a 1st class and same with ALL of my friends.

We need to change the way we think first, be diligent and strong-willed, and TRUST GOD. Learn not to always depend on man, they are very likely to fail u, even when they are connected. I know very well wht i'm saying.

Just to encourage someone.

Nothing is impossible, aboslutely nothing!
Christianity EtcRe: Sickness Is Not An Act Of God by emmanjo: 12:03pm On Jan 07, 2013
We really need to understand the difference between when man was under the old covenant and the new covenant; before Jesus came and after he came. We need to really understand the Scriptures. We need not just look for a Scripture that points at sickness and diseases and then attribute it to God out of context. The authority we have now in Christ Jesus was not there then. The life we now have was not there then. You can even say God afflicted Egyptians with plagues and diseases. But what does the new covenant (after Jesus' ressurection teach)? Well whether u take it or not, evil is not from God and we are not supposed tonallow the devil.

It is whatever u allow on earth that is allowed in heaven and it is whatever u disallow on earth that is disallowed in heaven...so the Scriptures teach. So if u eant keep allowing the devil (even though God doesnt) want it so, and blaming it on God.
Every good and perffect gift is from the father...the father of light. James 1:17.

Hallelujah!

X-factoria:
Oga, you don't know what you are talking about. Salami is corrupt. He was paid to deliver Osun and Ekiti to ACN. That is a fact!!!

The call logs tendered as evidence were real. MTN was also part of the conspiracy and I'm sure they must have pleaded with PDP not to press charges against them.
Why not deal wit d figures of d election rather than just being biased. What makes u think the ACN didn't win in both states. Why are u not saying d same of Edo and other states.
