I don't think I will go for Army even if my name is shortlisted, except their training does not collide with that of Navy. And my essence of going will be to catch fun and prepare myself for Navy screening.

cyril83: Noise maker at it again,even if you are from the presidency, two things you can't wave are medical and physical exercises and once your not fit for any of these,you are out,especially for ssc. Take it or leave it.


The first things your godfather will ask you are,are you medically fit and can you run,it's not neccessary you make d gate b4 closing time, you just run and once your are fit for these believe me you are in. Military work is not what you can just get on a platter of gold, you must do something.

Afta d Medical screening,u will not b told either xray or ECG.my frnd was screen for ECG scan@d camp ,only to get home and meet d medical doctor who told hm hs ECG and xray was ok ,a gvt hospital for dat matter.
It is all abt connection.if u ac strong connection frm d presidency u will scale tru,na nja we de.3 of my frnds hav scale throuh cos dey ar frm presidency.am talking frm xperience,though u av to participate in d screning.

What you said is very correct. Only those who are informed will not be deformed at the screening ground.
My advise for those who applied is this, look for a high ranked officer that has links and beg them to assist you push your name to the main list.
The main list is not the list of those shortlisted although they do take 1 or more by merit. The main list is the already prepared list. If you have tried before and it didn't work out it's good you ask people question how it is done. Beside that I was told that they also allocate to high ranked officers, try and connect to anyone you know and I bet you won't be let down at the camp.

As for me na dssc I apply for but am still doubting if I will go cos by Gods grace I have better opportunity in the Navy but if I should go to the army my intention will be to treat people like shalodoma.... who like to go to war, to care for their well being and treat them of partial deafness as a result of bomb and gun sounds, to amputate their legs when necessary, to also give them basic first aid treatment when necessary.

Don't give up brother. I know of a man who hails from my tribe and works at Dodan Barracks Obalende, He told me he applied 7 times.He is now working at their military police department as a lieutenant. So please don't give up on what you believe.

Number of form to print out is 5. Out of the 5 forms two have same heading.
2 parents/guardian consent for, 2 local gov. Attestation form and one photo card.
If you take one form to your local government they will tell you its 2 you need to bring.

idris4r83: i want to go 2 peace keeping missions, i want 2 hear the sounds of guns, grenades, helicopters,thats why i choose ssc (combatants). if u dont like war tinz then u are not cut out 2 join the military (ssc) better sit back and have a rethink.

As for me I want to cater for the well being of my fellow service men. To treat, administer drugs to those whose ears have been partially deafed by gun and bomb sounds, to amputate their legs when necessary and to give first aid treatment to those injured during war. Oor oor oor
