launch without licence? make una dey think na how can someone spend billions setting a company like that up without first thinking of licence. I'm sure that's the first thing dey would do. besides NBC would have come out since June when TSTV was first announced to inform us that dey are not licenced

you rightly said wat in my mind..how can a company who had a previous launching sabotage last June... we have this cabals to contend with if Nigeria must move forward.. I heard from unconfirmed source that our politicians all have full dstv subscriptions for free for a whole year... so you can know why tstv will be frustrated to come in..
my advice to tstv is to released a press statement regarding the license issues and we masses will do the needful.. besiege multichoise offices Nation wide,boycott their services and by compelling the Nigerian Senate to implement the local content Act in our broadcasting sector.. if all these are done.. who Born dstv well to frustrate peoples cause...

bein sports are sport channels that broadcast live matches of EPL, UCL, LA liga, French league etc all across North Africa,Asia, middle East... they have channels in HD from 1-11 or so... have a look here at tstv channels

you read my mind for saying this..the Iraqi govt and the Kurdish both claim ownership of the oil rich region...so the reason why the Iraqi govt couldn't do anything kos they have the Nations wealth and any hostilities like military crackdown will cause doom for an already war ravaged country...

Don't think so, some things are nt just right. Don't think it will be commercially viable for a real DSTV competitor to be that ridiculously cheap. Premiership broadcast right don't come cheap likewise other premium content on DSTV. Its like somebody promising u a car brand with all d luxuries and goodies in a BMW 7 Series at a price of KIA Picanto. We shouldn't forget so soon the jokers called HITV.

But how I wish it was possible..

they operate on a different platform, multichoice only have rights over satelitte channel not telecom broadcast, the technology that will be used by Tstv according to some is hbb, which hybrid or fusion of satelitte and telcom to view television, I believe channels like bein sports that will broadcast the football leagues will be on the telecom site as such dstv has no right over them

you are right but the nature of the soils determine if it will be a good purifier or not..most soils like clay which is permeable but not porous will not act as a good purifier...sands like white sand is a good purifier(used extensively to purify water during water treatment)
but places like basement complex like Abeokuta, Ibadan, ekiti will not have good aquifer protection capacity index due to the hard rock overburdens above the aquifer...

NEMA and state Governors should learn from u.s government.It's not always by demolishing people's buildings by claiming they are built in drainage channels or blaming the people of blocking drainages when the appropriate authorities don't come and evacuate waste bin.

Benue floods come to mind... we need to reorient ate ourselves..govt worldwide care and provides for the citizens... emergency situations like this are meant to be proactive not until the deeds occur, we now start to run helter skelter... what is our satellite launched into space doing? we should have satellite images of flood plains, rain patterns, storms and winds so as to prepare and act... Lagos floods came but it was devastating and we go back round the clock all over again...whites will always be Whites.

most roads in ndokwa east are bad..its like one living in a slum..I did my NYSC there. this one is a bit better...you can go to okpai..despite oil companies scattered all over the place, the roads are just too bad.

exactly my thought... universities with geology departments are always doing field mappings, analysis of rock samples,mineral surveys etc..I could remember in my university days at OOU .lots of research on the basement complex rocks, with their mineral alignments found in the whole south western part of the country... so I must say most of the pictures posted here are just for publicity kos of the Chinese present.. Nigerian professors are really trying their best but most of there works are not appreciated and funded...
