IyaebeTheGreat: We are all hypocrites in this country if we want to truthfully apply it’s meaning. Politics is a game and the best gamer has won
Though you said it in a generic sense. You're actually right! We're! Politics, especially that played in Nigeria, is not just a game but a threat to national unity!
How do we come out of this political mess we find ourself as a nation?
Let's say tribalism run in our veins in Nigeria. This has proven so well. An average Nigerian is tribalistic. We only accomodate/tolerate one another at some points when we have common interest. But where our interests conflict or when we want to have an/more advantage over other tribes, . . . . .
Goodconcept78: Yoruba people have been good to me and they remain the most liberal and open major tribe in Nigeria. Don't be stupid to let people give you the tag of "most tribalistic" people. . . COPIED
Well said. But this is out of place under the context of the post.
Pierocash: a lot sick people are roaming the streets ,and internet space in Nigeria.
What do you mean by "Igbo to hand-off on Lagos politics". Even though your English is disgusting ,your write-up is porous and tells more of your poor intellect. that is by the way.
What is this madness about igbos voting in Lagos ,what is the crime in voting in Lagos? This fools keep constituting nuisance all around insulting igbos and claiming they want to take over Lagos even when no Igbo man is on the ballot for any of this elections. Igbos decided to vote a true lagosian not even an Igbo man even though it is still not a crime to vote Igbo if any is on the ballot.
But these fools keep misbehaving and attacking igbos for daring to vote even when a Yoruba woman won fct senatorial seat which is not a Yoruba land.
I keep telling people, leadership is not Nigeria's problem, but poor and bad followership who create rooms for evil to thrive and end up turning around to cry over poor state of leadership.
A lot of Yorubas are lawmakers in UK, US,and other countries, even in federal positions in Europe ,and America. But these same sick Yorubas are insulting, attacking, and intimidating igbos who just want to cast their votes, not even contesting oo,just to cast vote, all hell broke loosed on them.
This war wey una dey stir, una no go fit stand am wen it start.
Awon ashiere
You started well but your last statement is out of place.
Inasmuch as I didn't support intimidation and attack of voters, and suppression of voters engineered by the state ruling party against non-Yorubas, especially the Ibos, in the gubernatorial election after the outcome of the Presidential election in the state which unsettled them, you shouldn't have resorted to using that Yoruba cussword to end your statement.
You are correct when you stated, ". . . poor and bad followership create rooms for evil to thrive and they (the followers) end up turning around to cry over poor state of leadership."
Owaincouncil: If I am sanwoolu. This 2nd term, I will demolish ladiipo, market, Alaba market and computer village all in the name of I WANT TO REBUILD IT in order to send this people back to their village. Because by the time I compete it, and I ask them to apply for shops, any ibo name I see won't qualify to get a stall. That's how to teach them a lesson.
That's why you are not Sanwo Olu. It's a pity we still have people that reason like you.
Emekaonline: You can go and tell that to your mum's family in Enugu. Saturday will show who owns Lagos. After Saturday, we will start to do the needful and revisit our magnanimity and hospitality spirit and character for our own good
As if you have a say in Lagos politics and governance . . .
Seeing Igbos and Yorubas fighting each other makes me sick, there's division everywhere in Nigeria today, even among minorities
Tribalism is a big problem in Nigeria, we still have a long way to go, nigerians still vote along ethnic and religious lines
This is why I like Rwanda
I thank God for giving me a good heart not to hate anyone, forget my political affiliation
My brother the matter just tire me when I see, hear or read things like this. We are humans. We didn't choose our individual tribes just as we didn't choose to become a citizen of Nigeria by birth ehn!
If it is not religion issue, na tribe, if no be tribe, na political party, if no be political party, na . . .
This is likened as racism, xenophobia, and the likes that brings division and usher in untold pain and this is disheartening!
Cumtroller: The American government should not meddle in our internal affairs as we do not meddle in her own affairs. Nigeria is a sovereign nation and should be treated as such and accorded due respect. Any candidate who is not satisfied with the outcome of the elections should approach the courts. Simple. Beware of the American government. They are the number one instigator of civil unrest, wars and violent regime change in the world.
Though you made a point, but they are just foreign observers!
Don't let any whóre deceive you with that celibate BULLSHÌT. ANY GIRL WITH MORE THAN 2 BODYCOUNT IS NOT WORTHY OF TRUE LOVE, RESPECT AND SERIOUS COMMITMENT.
There's absolutely nothing worth valuing in a whóre. A whóre will always be a WHÓRE
YOU CAN MAKE MANY MISTAKE IN THIS LIFE BUT MARRYING A WHÓRE SHOULD NEVER BE PART OF IT.
GOLDEN RULES
IF YOU WON'T LIKE TO HAVE A DAUGHTER LIKE HER, DON'T MARRY HER.
DON'T BE A CAPTAIN SAVE A HOE DON'T BE A SIMP DON'T BE A CABBAGE COLLECTOR
DON'T COMMIT SERIOUSLY TO ANY GIRL THAT HAS MORE THAN 2 BODYCOUNT. A GIRL THAT HAS BEEN PASSED AROUND LIKE FOOTBALL BY VARIOUS GUYS.
You dey para o!
I want to get something clear.
Are you indirectly trying to say that only a chaste man should get married to a chaste woman and a randy/amorous man should get married to a LovePeddler or an unchaste woman?
Ndi Enugu, my fellow members of the Obidient movement, please let's not make the costly mistakes we made on February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections when we ignorantly voted for incompetent and violence-prone National Assembly candidates of Labour Party, such as Barr. Okey Ezea (see video 2), in our passionate push to ensure that our brother, Mr. Peter Obi wins the Presidential election.
The guber candidate of Labour Party in Enugu State, Chijioke Edeoga is no match to Barr. Peter Mbah of the PDP in terms of competence, capacity, credibility, fear of God, respect for Church leaders, preparedness for the job and sense of discipline and responsibility.
As Peter Obi rightly said, let's VOTE for Barr. Peter Mbah on March 18. His track records, background, leadership qualities and well-thought-out manifesto show that he is competent, disciplined and prepared for the job.
Please, also VOTE all PDP candidates for the State House of Assembly seats to give Peter Mbah the needed support and cooperation to actualise his lofty visions for Enugu State, when elected.
Yours sincerely Obidient
~ Loveth Koya-Chukwu
See as you contradicted yourself in your closing statement when you started well. You asked that competent persons should be voted for, and used the PDP governorship candidate as a more competent person compared to LP candidate. What about other political parties' candidates vying for that office? Are they also incompetent?
Next you appealed by saying: "Please, also VOTE all PDP candidates for the State House of Assembly seats . . ." Here, you threw competence into the trash can and stylishly drop "party thing" making us to see the motive by your post and what you intend to achieve by it.
So all PDP candidates vying for seats at the State House of Assembly are competent more than all other candidates? Have you taken the time to check each candidate for competence, to know more about them, as you did the governorship candidate before begging Enugu residents to cast their votes for them?
Just tell us you're campaigning for PDP (your preferred party) and stop using competence and incompetence talk to deceive us!
Liebermantic: She is a Yoruba woman. Where are those ethnic bigots, hypocrites, urchins, Agbado munchers, and Yarriba Muslims from Southwáste? The people of Abuja, Yorubas are taking over your land.. Idiots and most tribalistic humans on earth! Evil people!
Yorubas are shouting Ibos are tribalistic. Ibos are screaming to high heavens that Yorubas are tribalistic, Hausas/Fulanis are also referred to as tribal and religious bigots, and so on.
I see the problem as a Nigerian thing. Just as no one choose to be a citizen of Nigeria, or choose to be born in a rich or poor family so is it that no one choose his or her tribe.
We are humans and we come into this world through a family that is a citizen of a country, from a tribe, race, continent, etc. We didn't choose them by ourselves, so we should learn to relate with ourselves as humans.
E.T for Extra Terrestrials are just lazy word for (1) Beings and (2) Intelligent Systems both bodied and disembodied that operate within and beyond the threshold of our local dimension. These beings are multi-dimensional and operate within and beyond our local time-space.
Example of such Beings are those in the Religious Books that Humans worship as Gods, some are called Angels, Demons, Jinns etc.
There are archtypes and races whose shapes and sizes are results of the local gravity and light density of their home planes.
Ok. I garrit. I was to tired to go further in my search as today stress no be here. I have a question in respect to your answer but let me reserve it and do my research before person take me shine again!
TheBillyonaire: No time for such minor stuff. Just do google search on that. I prefer explaining what's not on google.
I searched before asking you, but this is what came up: Extraterrestrial, Eastern Time, ethyl, and it doesn't relate in any way with what OP shared here. Kindly tell me.
TheBillyonaire: Wizards are powerful but not as powerful as ET invasion. I have experienced both. When ET touches you, then you'd know that witches are just cosmic hackers. ET are the real programmers.
It is obvious you're not sound in health and your mind has been seriously affected. Kindly arrange a meeting with a Psychologist so that you can treated!
Loser, go and respond in court and stop disturbing us with your stupid threads.
This thread isn't stupid. It is informative. At least I have picked "one or two" things from what OP explained with quotes and from various commentators.
An inexperienced man can hardly keep his family. A sexually exposed woman can not stay with one man.
You must be very experienced to satisfy your woman in marriage. She must be disciplined to give your legitimate children.
You're too young to understand. Now tell me, who lacks moral sense?
Your last paraphrase: Finally, if you want a peaceful lasting home, fvck any girl you want but when it comes to marriage, find a virgin woman and marry. Only her deserves your love and devotion. She kept herself for you, therefore, she deserves to be kept.
You advice or suggest that that a man should do that if he want a peaceful last home. Does that make a any sense to you? The man can have fun with any girl he choose to before marriage and "settle down" with a virgin in marriage. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. Now reverse your statement.
jeromestarks: Obasanjo condemn election will not make inec to conduct a fresh one.
Anyways, if you do did not marry a woman disvirgined by you, you will wake up one day to condemn yourself.
Many men who attempted suicide were pushed to the wall by their wives who has fvcked many men before they met.
A woman you did not disvirgin will fvck her ex the moment he shows up to her on Facebook or in the market and she will begin to frustrate you. She will turn the house upsidedown until you regret the day you said "I do".
Don't use your hard-earned money to pay bride price, sponsor wedding ceremony and take care of in-laws just to have a woman who was fvcked and mounted by many men who didn't pay more than two eggs and indomie. Only a fool will do that. Are you the fool?
Finally, if you want a peaceful lasting home, fvck any girl you want but when it comes to marriage, find a virgin woman and marry. Only her deserves your love and devotion. She kept herself for you, therefore, she deserves to be kept.
The bolded in your last paragraph show that you lack the moral sense to give a sound advice. All that you have said should be taken lightly.
Sonnobax15: . Bro,trust me, I've led many non-governmental industries in the past, and I didn't get there through elective procedures.... That's what I'm talking about.....My own father, who's a very renowned politician here I Delta state almost went into coma when he be ventured into contesting an election . So,once again,no body can lure me into doing that
What I ask you is that you are not contesting or vying for an elective position but if you are appointed by the President or Governor to serve, say as a minister or commissioner, will you turn down the offer?
Mehnnnnn..The truth is that if you aren't strong hearted,no just go near Nigeria Politics at all.....One reason why no body can ever lure me into contesting even ordinary street chairmanship of my area, talk more of any bigger position..
What if you're appointed to serve by leading a government agency or given a ministerial post? Will you accept or decline the appointment?
Although disappointing Tinubu tried to hold Lagos with the figures he pulled so far. Lagos is the Capital of Southern Nigeria, so what were you expecting? This was a fight between ibos+SS+woke yorubas against Tinubu supporters in Lagos who are mainly yorubas and maybe Hausas in Lagos.
I hope Tinubu and yorubas have learnt a bitter lesson from Lagos Elections not to befriend and feed a cub because it is homeless, hopeless, and dying. It will grow up and eat u up someday.
I'm happy yorubas can now sit down and ask qtns as to how they got everything wrong and redress it with BAT as President.
The take home from this defeat is..
Yorubas need to stop drafting non yorubas into the civil service and stop giving them prominent appointments. There are always technocrats who can always fit into any political office from the SW
Yorubas need to stop selling their lands to non yorubas in Lagos and SW
Yorubas need to stop giving out local government of origins to non yorubas in Lagos
Yorubas need to stop allowing non-yorubas contest for Elections in Lagos or SW
Yorubas need limit the numbers of voters registration of non yorubas going on in Lagos, they care so much about Lagos and don't care if their homes rot, Henceforth let them go home and vote. They can't come and dictate to you on how to govern urselves after creating an enabling environment for them to thrive.
Contain them politically, Period!
Congratulations to the incoming President of Nigeria BAT the ASIWAJU of Lagos for winning the most Free and fair Elections since our Nascent Democracy nothwitstanding
You think you have spoken well! This is uncalled for. You're being sentimental and a tribal bigot in this era!
christejames: With ObiDatti 🧚♂️, EPL and LaLiga will be coming to NPFL not just to sign players but to also tour their clubs during preseason ☺... Because NPFL will become the STRONGEST! 💪
Must you comment by saying this! Or has PO promised to make you NFF President or Minister of Sports when he eventually becomes President (which is not yet certain)?
Better stop typing and commenting on post ecstatically and begin to shoot your preferred candidate on his foot!
A party of looters and criminals that couldn't construct their national headquarters for 16 years want to build a country! Awon werey 100%.
Perennial losers and thieves. Party of confusion, looting and corrupt souls in disarray..
Truth is not bitter, just that people are bitter to the truth........
PDP in Nigeria again?! God forbid bad thing we rather vote for FRESH Party!!
We Rise.
Sometimes I wonder if you are a sane person because your comments say otherwise. But one thing still remain, we are individuals with choices to make, be it good or bad!
Peter Obi is the only Nigerian politician, a former Governor of a state who didn't steal a dime but instead left huge savings after fighting a brutal cabal that held Anambra state on rampage for decades.
Peter Obi single handedly destroyed cabalism in Anambra governance.
Peter Obi spent over 3 years of his tenure fighting Anambra cabals that kidnapped a sitting Anambra Governor Chris Ngige.
People don't know who Peter Obi is.
If Seun and all these APC urchins (who are mostly hungry kids with internet enabled phones) know the state called Anambra they won't be here talking rubbish. Of all the States in Nigeria, Anambra is the only state that have the highest number of individual millionaires and billionaires, making Governorship election in Anambra a very dangerous affair before the emergence of Peter Obi. Anambra is the richest state in Nigeria by number of indigenous millionaires and billionaires.....Anambra was ruled by cabals....you dare not govern Anambra without bowing to the demands of the Anambra powerful cabals. Anambra is one of the most if not the most difficult Nigerian state to govern before Peter Obi was elected.
You can imagine the kind of cabals that have the power and capacity to kidnap a sitting Nigerian Governor (Governor Chris Ngige) and the IGP nor the President couldn't rescue the governor....that is the level of cabalism in Anambra before Peter Obi came on board.
The kind of cabals that had the capacity to bomb a state government house with missile hahahahaha.....if Tinubu had that kind of opposition in Lagos, by now Tinubu would have been in another exile but because Yorubas are too lily livered and cowardly, they allowed Tinubu to become lord in Yoruba land....it can never happen in any other Nigerian region.
Outside Nigeria, Peter Obi is being used as example to leaders and many African leaders are already emulating Peter Obi's footsteps, example is Tanzanian current President doing wonders in Tanzania today.
People talk nonsense about Peter Obi being a one time PDP member, Peter Obi was never part of PDP 16 years rule, he only joined recently in search of a reliable national political platform to use to serve Nigerians and he didn't find APGA suitable because tribalism made Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis to see APGA as an Igbo regional party and so with that tag, APGA can hardly win Presidential election in Nigeria.
Peter Obi discovered PDP wanted to sell their ticket to highest bidder, he doesn't give bribe, so he honorably left the party for them without a fight or granting silly interviews like talkative Wike and got invited to LP and he found LP cool enough to launch his vision without asking for bribes.
In the Holy Bible, Abraham a lover of the Living God served an idol worshipper, Laban to achieve his life goals as directed by God.
Moses was groomed in Pharoah's palace in preparation to rescue Israel.
Seun and other urchins don't understand how God and life works. Sometimes you have to work with the evil people to cross the difficult bridge of life, what's important is making sure you don't compromise on your standard and integrity.
What about Joseph that worked under Pharaoh, God would have told him not to go to Egypt since Egypt and Pharaoh are idol worshippers, but God needed Joseph to be in Pharoah's palace to help Israelites survive the impending famine.
Good submission. Out of the three, or should I say 4, popular candidates in the race, I think he's the better man for the job.
