plendil: What thevoltage is dependent on the current Voltage is the result not the cause and current is the cause not the result. |
plendil: You misunderstand OP. Current can indeed be low, so in that context its not strictly a grammatical error. But that dim light we observe as a result of power from PHCN is actually a result of low voltage, not low current.Power = IV Do you know that the voltage supply of PHCN is sinusoidal in form and the voltage is given as: V = VoSINE2pieFt = VoSINEwt Vo > max value or amplitude of the voltage 2pieF=w=angular velocity F= frequency of the generating power plant (50Hz in Nigeria) Io=Vo/R . . . . . The peak current Vo=Io/Rsinwt "low current", is infact more correct (but I don't use it because not all Nigerians are science-oriented) |
Low current is correct. Didn't your teacher teach you Ohm's Law? V=IR V -> voltage I -> current R-> resistance the voltage is low as a result of low current. |
tilevbare: Bwacha said the governor was not in a hurry to return home because he wants to be fully fit.I learnt some lessons from Late Yar'adua's case, so can't believe this for now. |

Well said. If you know all these before now, then you disappointed us when you were the VP. |
Yes, it can still be achieved but you need to act and act right. I wish these words were from your heart. Good people; great nation. |
centje: this is really bad policy. If at all he must import such foreign taxation,Why not tax automobiles instead. At least accrued monies can be channelled into road maintenance etcNot a bad idea. But sth wrong with this formula is its inefficiency and uneven taxation. |
Lets wait and see what the tax will be upon. Is it PAYE system or direct asset tax. Which ever the system is, he should also make rooms to accomodate the adverse effects. I wish him success in his transformation endeavour. |
Who is to be blame for death. . . Death, you caused all these games and injustice. |
This money wont even be enough to construct a foot path (pedestrians walk way)across these places. |
Justice has been kidnapped, even in the law court. |
I think the most law violators are the Military Officers and Politicians |

Gud and the seized asset of looters and fraudster can also be used 2 settle foreign debts. |
Nice One but I personally think that you would have explained the meaning of democracy and relate it to your points. Try to include public opinion and youth participation. |
Nigerians did not dislike the idea. Of course, it is a neccessity. But what have Nigeria achieved in the Media Chat that we make several complain and you dont listen to us? Show sympathy on Nigerian. Try to make her beta than the way you say her. |
Africa, home of Innovation. Sometime ago, Lagos was voted one of the most innovative cities. Thank You, God, 4 the Nigerian citizens. . |
No ma, I dont think it is right to attribute the failure of a sector to improved accountability and transparency. . HBD |
Happy BirthDay ma, we Nigerians love you; though you fell short our eXpections. May God give you the grace to move-on and be more transparent & accountable. . More years 4 you. . |
