BlueRayDick: I just hope this David guy actually knows what he's doing. This one just be like make person put target on him own head o.
I hope anywhere he is he has himself protected cos Any small boy fit take ice finish, strap up and take him out. I no dey support make person dey risk him life unnecessarily o.
He should be hoping Tinubu doesn't sue, cause winning public sentiments is one thing, winning libel suit is another AIT comes to mind. Anyways, it will serve it's purpose for the election.
said he will fund sports, I think that's the main idea. But Nigeria going to World cup or not should be a campaign point Sha, cause no be president be coach
Nigeria a country of 200m people cannot qualify for the world cup. Under Peter Obi Nigeria will be qualifying for the world cup always. How can they play world cup without Nigeria
How and why do we have 2M plus invalidated registration in 2022? What happened? These questions need to be addressed by INEC.
This is going to be a very close election and to imagine millions are not going to be able to vote is sad and troubling.
The Senate/ House committees should be summoning the INEC chairman for some serious explanation.
Majority of that number was invalidated due to multiple registration. Some people who have registered some years back still registered again. I don't know why the percentage is so high in Ebonyi and Bayelsa, but the 30% in other regions is expected.
I can only imagine what the entire segment will be like
Lmaoooo, see what cutting out 30 seconds out of 50 minutes can do. I watched the full video, he said he visited prisons and asked the prisoners why they resorted to crimes and their main reasons were economical, saying some were paid as low as 30k for an operation. His point was that improving economy and providing jobs was a way to curb insecurity and vices.
raumdeuter: Of the promises Obi made to Anambra people how many did he achieve?
Or he has suddenly become born again and stopped lying
I don't know the promises he made to Anambra people.
I don't have anything against his campaign strategies, the whole point from a politician's perspective is to win, so he will do what it takes to have a chance. I am just not buying the market, good luck to those buying it sha. The less said about the two failed parties, the better.
izzou: I thank God there's someone on God's green earth that sees what i see
The funny thing is that if Obi wins, they will start sounding like Buharists. Buhari said more than all these in 2015, this 2023 script is too similar to the one of 2015
Donjazet2: Emma, I just told you that in an election, we must endeavor to vote the NEXT BEST option.
Anyone saying Peter Obi is as bad as Tinubu or atiku is seriously lying to himself and deluding himself. There is no saint in politics but you must acknowledge that governance is not something you escape from. Once you understand that point, you see the importance of taking part in the process.
Anyone who tells you that labor party dislodging APC\PDP next year will not have a positive effect on our country is simply lying to himself.
As I said, people can only day that here to try and appear "woke". They want to think it's thoroughly unappealing to be speaking for a politician until you realize that you gave to make difficult choices when it comes to choosing who to vote for.
I just gave you an instance of what happened in America, democrats in 2016 who knew very well the implication of a Trump presidency but still chose not to vote for Hilary Clinton because they were dissatisfied with her candidacy are the very ones on the street today. They fvcked around and are finding out today.
We've seen all the red flags of a Tinubu candidacy. We've seen an individual physically incapable of handling the rigors of the office. We've literally lived through the worst experience of an ailing and also a dying president, which Nigerian in his right senses wouldn't consider physical capability a key aspect of component to have for the presidency?
We've seen the very best hands of the APC and we've seen as all have failed!! What makes you think an ngige under Buhari would be different from an ngige under Tinubu? Or a fashola or the senior advocate of nonsense would be different from the people they are today?
We've seen the best of them and their best amounted to failure. Why should we entrust them again. Now we have a chance to overhaul the entire leadership structure of the country. From appointments of government parastatals to appointment of the judiciary to quality international representation. Do you believe the presidency is about only one individual?
I can't say more than this. I have decided that there is no need of engaging here further because I believe everybody's mind here is already made up. There is nothing like undecided. Anyone doing that as I said wants to appear or sound "woke".
None of us are spared the effects of governance and must choose the next best. That's all I can say. Labor party dislodging the prominent parties will have a revolutionary effect on our governance structure. That's all.
I called out propaganda you attached as screenshot to your post, you and I know PO can't achieve even 25% of those stuffs listed, let's leave long talks and face the truth. A politician can't resist making promises he can't keep. Pdp and Apc has failed, and I believe LP also have the right to try and fail too, but I am not holding out any candles for them to make any real changes, I even think them just winning is the best change they can effect, that will singularly change the face of our democracy.
Personally, I have decided that I must vote, but I am not in the business of converting people. Voting is my civic duty, campaigning for a candidate and converting people is not. Good luck to you if you have committed yourself to that path.
I am thinking Tinubu knows opponents are after errors in his speeches, and is deliberately giving them something to talk about, if it is true that no publicity is bad publicity, then he is playing his cards well. Over the past months, Tinubu is always in the news for one reason or the other, good or bad, I don't know if it is deliberate or not. Or maybe he is just senile.
Donjazet2: Yes, he might not be there very best candidate, I mean in an utopian world, if the options before me were sowore and Obi, I would choose sowore, I was already gearing towards him before obi's emergence. Sowore had that fiery passion I like to see and is untainted with any form of Nigerian politics but it is what it is, the choices before us are Obi, Tinubu and Atiku. These are the top 3 choices we have and we have to choose the NEXT BEST.
Same Sowore that looted ordinary party funds As for the screenshots you attached, I hope you don't believe it Sha smells like Buharist campaign speeches 2015 Peter Obi as a president won't even have the power to effect most of those things, legislative reforms without the legislatures being on board is laughable
BlueRayDick: It’s people who don’t know this that run into financial mess while gambling . Growing up I knew a lot of baba’s that play what we call “pool” …. The legit predict draws of matches being played in championship , league one , league two , Australian league etc.
These babas don’t run into financial ruin like young boys today are; maybe because they are reasonable enough to see gambling as a hobby and not a means to get out of poverty. U will see them sit at the pool shop studying chats and forecasting .
I still maintain it’s the poverty , joblessness and the get rich quick syndrome of today’s youth that’s responsible for their problem with betting .
Lol, you are very correct. Those guys don't even go for small odds, it is always 100 naira to win 10 million By the time, they play 100 of those kind of tickets, 10k don go.
larride: Manifesto is one thing, having the political will power to actually implement the manifesto is another thing entirely.
So it should mean, How are you going to implement your manifesto.
Lmaoooo, I know. We can't look into the future to know who has the most political will to do whatever, but we can look to the past. I am interested in the manifestos, because examining all the manifestos is supposed to be part of the electoral process. And I no go automatically believe wetin dey inside manifesto nau, in fact, perceived achievability of the manifestos presented is also important but as it goes, present your plans at least.
Thanks. I am committed to reading all the manifestos, it's important to me because if one can't get the best hands to come up with a good manifesto, how can you be trusted to get the best hands to solve myriad of Nigeria's problems?
obainojazz: Watch people call it genius move… thuggery is now an occupation in Lagos.
I wonder what you will say about thugs forming their own vehicle inspection unit and taking over VIO office in Suleja Niger state And what's more funny, Court upheld the usurpation. Those guys are a menace, they keep blocking roads and asking for particulars. It's just crazy.
Obi need all hand on desk to pentrate d North......Personally i don't like d controversial Clerics in Gumi but dat doesn't stop Obi from visiting him if he see him as a way to penetrate the North.....
Note: I am not in support of him visiting him without iv.......
Theflint1: What are the immediate solutions to climate change you speak of? Remember I said immediate o...
I am saying they should treat the symptoms and leave the cause for those that can solve it. If it's drought, they should invest in providing water to affected community.
Banditry and insurgency can be quashed by 2 means...
Using force and thru dialogue if there is a representative...but i suscribe to d formal
In dat BBC clip..i think Hassan said something about d gov playing poilitics with thier lives or so.....this was seen/witnessed when a lil boy was killed when dey involved politics after some abducted girls was rescued..
If Gumi as a cleric invites Obi and he refuses dont you think there would be another round of shalaye to justify his bigotry stands....
Do you know what courtesy visit means? Gumi didn't invite Obi, Obi used his two legs to go there
You guys are just trying to spin it cause of the "Saint Obi" and "we are the structure" hype you have built in your head. Obi knows he needs the numbers, even if na bandits own, that's how you win election. Obidients are not enough.
izzou: I am still trying to understand that stance though
Somalia has serious drought issues. Maybe they should wait for US to give them money to solve their problems.

They should solve the immediate effect that they are witnessing nau, US wont help them with that, but they should leave long term climate change war to the countries that have financial capacity to fight it.
All we should be concerned about is curtailing the effects of climate change on our country. The west won't or shouldn't have to help with that.
However, I agree that if the West wants us to comprehensively embark on climate change war, especially in terms of prevention, then they should support. Most climate friendly measures are really really expensive.
Theflint1: Yea, I think referring to Obi visiting Gumi as him seeking support from him is taking it a bit too far, cause really, what electoral value does Gumi have? None. Peter Obi had his reasons for visiting Gumi, I didn't like it, but it's what it is.
Obi is paying courtesy visits to people without electoral value? That explains his trip to Havard and Co
Theflint1: Obi doesn't have one yet, it's said it'll be released eventually. Haven't heard anything about APC having or making plans towards having a policy document.
APC said that their own will soon be released.
PO once said manifesto isn't important but his words or something like that, I hope he won't toll that path and actually put his soul into presenting a sellable manifesto.
But even with the policy documents, the will to execute anything is another issue, anyways, na to select the best, even if the best is still bad.
