BlueRayDick: Na why e no really make sense forming opinion about cases based on what u read off media reports while case is still on.
Each party will report whatever side Favour them and use their respective media arms to amplify their story to make it seem the decison will swing in their Favour .
I still remember how media report of Adeleke vs Oyetola made it seem like Adeleke was losing the case until the final Supreme Court judgement .(Even thought Adeleke was on how was out )
Make case even end make everybody rest and those of us that want to learn ; make we learn from the rulings and precedent that will be set by the supreme after the aggrieved parties must have appealed to the Supreme Court Honestly, I am waiting for final judgement like this. The reporting are biased at best. |

When you sue two people together, they will invariably become cohorts, INEC defending themselves will definitely extend to defending APC, except you are expecting INEC to not defend their declaration. |

Donjazet2: There has been successful people-led revolutions right from time. And yes, I mean violence-filled revolutions.
Russians, after years of terrible monarchial rule revolted against their king and murdered their entire royal family. Setting up a government of the people, a revolution that eventually led to their country becoming the second most powerful country on earth for decades.
Italians after deciding they had had enough of the dictatorial Mussolini killed and hung him and his wife in the public square.
The youths of this country are suffocating under the terrible burden of bad governance, maladministration and corruption by the APC. They decided to revolt peacefully via the ballot, you conspired against them and denied them their voices, you are corrupting all institutions of governance, what choices do you leave them? Story!!! I hope you are ready to lay down your life for your fruitless revolution It's not even hard, you don't need PO to validate your revolution, gather your band of like minds and start. Good luck to you. |

Donjazet2: By that time, that passion and enthusiasm people had for all these would have drained.
This would have been best when the emotions of that injustice was raw!! Wike should have been given the Mussolini treatment right after that election day. Storm the rivers government house and hang him publicly for commiting the gravest offense against those whose interests he's supposed to represent. These politicians keep taking us for granted because we have chosen to cower in silence.
Our only options before us now is flee or remain and bear the brunt of the chaotic country. Rest with this violence mongering, you think it's film you're acting? Obi is making the best approach, through the courts, sorry if he doesn't fulfill your "burn everything down" fantasy. Think with your head, Donj |

This is how you demonstrate your ignorance. Bola Tinubu got into fights with objs govt as far back as the late 2000s because they established an ipp intended to power lagos infrastructure. The ipp is in marina. Actions speak louder than words. The best Peter obi had as a vision for Anambra was a brewery. A brewery that failed. Ironic as people drink beer in all seasons. Good, bad, rich poor.
That is the magic we can expect from Peter, when he is not doing tiktok videos in Egyptian power stations. I actually don't agree with the guy. The 9th assembly passed the bill before election if my memory servese right, and Tinubu is only signing it as the current president. |

GloriousGbola: Today it is only those naturally gifted or brilliant that will come out of public schools and be able to try to compete. The Environment alone is enough to Fk them over. I remember when I was in secondary school, it was a federal government boarding school, we were engaged in Olympiad competition, I was one of the best students in mathematics, in my school, so I chose mathematics. I passed the first stage and was preparing for the second stage, I read seriously for it with our regular mathematics textbook, only for me to get to the venue of the second stage, and I saw other students from posh schools holding a particular textbook, i asked someone to let me look at it, and it was an Olypiad mathematics textbook, the person told me that how come I am not aware of it, that their school provided the contestants with all the necessary materials, tutoring, textbooks, past questions etc. While my school only provided us transportation to the venue I wrote the exam and most of the questions were beyond the scope of our regular textbooks, I nearly cried that day, all the effort and sleepless night was a waste. |

Spy360: The issue of double nomination is a genuine reason for disqualification, but there are technicalities.
The PDP suit is a pre-election one. That makes it lack locus standi. The case in the tribunal is post-election petition. As a post-election petition they have the locus standi to institute it as a ground to disqualify APC.
Just to clarify, before the election, only someone who contested the primaries can institute such a case. After the election, only someone that took part in the election can institute the case.
Don't think PDP are stupid for going all the way to SC. They want to know all the technicalities involved so that it can be used in the PEPT. So as it stands now, the only defense the APC has over this matter is the jurisdictions to hear the case. If that is all, then there fire on the mountain because they have to look for other defense at the tribunal. And somehow you believe that APC are foolishly displaying all their own cards. |

This reminds me of the conversation we had about spoilers in movies. If the outcome of an event is known, there's really nothing to look forward to. Most times the outcome of a movie is known, but how they go about getting there is the interesting bit. We are in for a nice ride |

larride: Depends on the platform you are using.
What I did while I was job hunting was to search for startups on LinkedIn using ycombinator, find their CEO, HR or CTO, send them a connect invite and if they possibly accept, you then compose an email with what you are looking for and what you think you can offer, since you don’t know if they have open vacancies and its internship you are looking for, it makes sense to say you are prepared to work for free as an intern (Most startup accepted into ycombinator do pay interns anyways).
Try to keep the email short and concise. You’ll have to try a lot of companies and hopefully one will click.
Goodluck. Thanks for the information, I appreciate. |

Ibime: I don't know about the above, unless you work as a consultant and put your earnings through a company, and your wife doesn't work, then you can reduce your tax bracket by making her a PAYE of the company.
Even if you and your wife are equal earners, rest assured if you divorce, you will be the one to leave the house. What may happen is the judge may grant you a percent of the house equity but you will still pay child support, or your part of equity may not be realisable till the kids leave the house.
It is what it is. It's all part of being a man. I don't worry about such things, infact I transfer all savings to my wife each month and she administers the savings account and gives account. I can't be scared of my own shadow, besides the Hakimi news na fake news It's crazy that something without a shred of evidence went viral like that I have given up on telling people it's fake news, I will just wait for the real divorce settlement to happen |

BlueRayDick: This is dead on arrival !
You saw how ENDSARS protests ended ; these planned “non-violent “ protest just needs local politicians to pay thugs to cause pocket of violence in the protest grounds . Boom! Curfew will be declared and the people will have two choices to either vacate the protest grounds or suffer the fate of youths who were shot at on October 20 2020
I can assure u the government will go after the organizers of the protests ( Obi inclusive ) with everything they’ve got . This ur planned “non-violent “ protest is just a case of a thief they plan to mete out jungle justice to and he gets caught stealing petrol ….. no be to just burn am with the petrol remain ?
Obi no talk make anybody protest and u hear almost Tom , Dick and Harry in the ruling party shouting treason up and down . Even Adamu Garba wey wey don fail at every venture sef dey about treason . What do u think they will do if Obi asked people to protest and it turned violent ? I wonder why DonJ is faulting PO's response so far, PO has been very wise. DonJ knows apc will welcome the opportunity to give PO a bad name, so that can hang him, but he seems to want sensationalist response from PO. |
