izzou: Even his debt has holes in the story
He said they paid 2 million for his ransom. That was the only figure he mentioned that the bandits received in almost 40 days of his capture, but he's saying they have spent 6.2 million in ransom payment and expenses.
The same 2 million is what he admitted that the manager gave his mother and chopped 50 million.
So how dem take enter 6.2 million naira debt on this matter?
Anyways, he should be sure the manager received that money before making such and allegation. A mere "Our WhatsApp group chat" might be a lie. Then he should go hard on the thief of a manager.
May God continue to protect us! He said they paid 15M initially and instead of releasing him the kidnappers were asking for additional 55M, which they later agreed to collect 2M. Likely the 6.2M debt is from the initial ransom payment. |

Theflint1: Simi's scandalous tweets aside, the past couple days have shown the worst of the red pill movement, and revealed that they're just as bad as the feminists they cry about everyday.
And to think I had 2026 pegged down as the year I'd start consuming red pill...SMH. I have realised that every movement is stupid. Simply because majority of people are stupid. I was deep into the redpill stuff years back and I even joined a group on it. It was in the group I realized that a lot of people are just walking with unresolved trauma. It's true for both the pillers and feminists. It was then I decided to reflect on my own personal values and use that as a prism to filter any content I read online. This helps to avoid others unpacking their trauma on you. I think the redpill contents I consumed earlier on foundational for me, especially in terms of recognizing and reacting to manipulative tactics of women and all that. My point is you already have values, those values should be what you use to interpret whatever you read. |

How can he be on the verge of finishing with a first class that will almost earn him an automatic job after graduation only for him to lose all to gambling ? The guy spiraled from there. Since he dropped out, whenever we have contact, he is in one trouble or another. He started attempting to fleece me with different untrue stories like his brother being in an accidents and all that, so I cut him off. I am sure he would be into fraud by now, because he was well on that part last time we had contacts. |

GloriousGbola: both drugs and gambling count as clinical addictions
the only difference is that drugs are for the most part illegal, but gambling is legalized so businesses can actually employ psychologists to figure out peoples buttons and triggers . the gambling pipeline is designed, planned and executed Yes, gambling is a well laid out trap. Look at what those twitter punters are doing, they are pushing a lot of people towards betting addiction. They will keep losing for months on end and the one day they win, it will spread over X and some people will want to try their luck too. Gambling is legalised and publicised. It may be a much bigger threat imo. |

Ihebu4chelsea: I don't think crypto should be on the list, Addiction to drugs is equivalent to death. Any of those things is terrible depending on the level of addiction. Growing up I have experienced at least one extreme of each of these things. I cant say which is worse. I knew someone, bright guy. Was in first class at 300 in Chemical engineering. This guy hit gambling addiction, he started borrowing money, begging, then resorted to stealing and he was owing the bet shop a lot of money too. The guy had to run away from school when they were hunting for him. That was the end of his academics, the first class just waste. Let's not even talk about what would have happened if he was caught. So yes, gambling addicts can display the same level of madness as drug addicts, maybe we can just make a case for the direct effects drugs has on the body. |

BlueRayDick: Pastor Chris own is still understandable to an extent.
According what I read, it seems he gave Gospel artistes like Sinach, Frank Edwards and co platform to blossom in their music career. More like he sponsored their music careers till they became mega stars who now charge millions to appear at concerts and church programs.
I think his grouse with them is that they somehow feel irrespective of his contribution to their career in the early stages, it is about time he starts paying them for them to honor invites to his programs. They feel they will be losing money if they honor his invites to perform for free when they can go for other events same day and they will get paid their worth.
In a way we can say he's trying to reap what he has sowed in their career in the past and they don't seem to agree he has not already reaped enough.
Where Femi's own come from is what I don't understand. There was a video of him saying that he does his contents and manage his socials by himself because they were overcharging him for it. Maybe the guy doesn't want to be ripped |

The pertinent questions were: 1. Did Tinubu attend CSU? 2. Was certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC fake.
CSU have answered yes to number 1, and shown that the layout and format of the specific document that Tinubu presented to INEC is consistent with multiple other certificates that they have issued their students.
So what's the issue again? From what I gather, the issues are; - one of the certificates carry Female gender. - discrepancies in DOB, SSN and name. I think that's all. |

BlueRayDick: I laugh each time I hear "let them increase the minimum wage ". Something that will not even scratch the surface.
How many people are civik servants who are bound by the minimum wage? How will increase in minimum wage favour a cleaner of a bank who earns 30k monthly? Do u think the bank will just increase the cleaner's wages to 50k because FG has pegged minimum wage to 50k? .
Before u talk about multiplier effect, u need to even consider the total number of people that are in government's employ to those who are either self employed, unemployed, under employed and those employed in private enterprises/companies.
And so u know, most state governments will not pay the new minimum wage and there's nothing the FG will do to them. Jigawa, Ekiti, Eboyin, etc will not pay minimum wage even if states like Lagos, Rivers state etc do. How multiplier effect wan take change anything for the general economy? Not to mention the fact that minimum wage increment will lead to inflation that will still make live more difficult for those who won't benefit from it. |

Sex becomes a burden they no longer enjoy from the moment they get pregnant till 18 months after delivery when they stop breastfeeding. By the time things start to pick up, another pregnancy.
Very few men have self control and won't cheat during this period.
Sometimes I also think monogamy plays a part but Muslims with more than one wife still cheat. I can't forget the saga that happened last year, a woman who was married as 3rd wife, she wan commit suicide cause her husband was cheating. I laughed hard when I heard it, people wey save her try. |

GrammarNazi1: In many private secondary schools, teachers are told that students MUST get a good mark from the possible 30 marks of assessment tests though teachers should not influence the 70 marks of the real examinations.
I learnt that this will enable the promotion to the next class of most students since I learnt if the students failed despite the huge schools fees, parents would take away their children to another school.
I don't know if a thing like this happens in private universities, but if it does I won't be surprised at the pseudo quality service of these private universities. It may be different in Universities because in secondary school, you can take your child from school to school without dropping grades. But in University you have to start afresh, so there is no incentive. |
