Holuwarseun15: Despite the fact that Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government president and former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, has denied rumours that he would be appointed as a minister for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), new information is emerging that points to his comeback.
El-Rufai, who previously held the FCT ministerial position from 2003 to 2007 during the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who just made the ministerial nominees of the new administration been credited with larger percentage of the all-around development of the nation’s capital placing him above other ministers that have held the position to date.
El-Rufai in May 2023 said “Once I leave a job, I don’t look back. If I leave Kaduna in 19 days, I will only visit if it becomes necessary.
“So, I don’t think about the FCT. I’ve done my bit. I don’t comment on the performance of those that came after me.”
However, many people believed that the last minister of the FCT has badly managed the power capital and people like El-Rufai are needed for it revival.
The former governor developed a reputation for tearing down “illegal” buildings while serving as FCT minister.
Mr. El-Rufai has in his time as minister ordered the demolition of hundreds of buildings within the Abuja metropolis and the satellite towns for the distortion of the city’s master plan to the chagrin of the house owners.
Over the years, observers have bemoaned the construction of numerous unlawful structures in Abuja, and many of them had hope that El-Rufai’s return would change everything.
A quantity surveyor by training, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai worked as a consultant in the construction private sector for years. After declining several offers to join the public sector, in 1999 he became president Olusegun Obasanjo’s director general of the Bureau of Public Enterprises and Secretary of the National Council on Privatization.
During Obasanjo’s second term, he served as a member of the Economic Management Team and took over as minister for the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), where he led civil service reform and undertook the computerization of Abuja’s land register. He served briefly under President Umaru Yar’Adua. After leaving public service, he completed legal and public management training programs at the University of London and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.
El-Rufai served as a two term governor of Kaduna State from 2015-2023.

The truth is that you had at one point denied your husband sex, so he resulted at pleasing himself. If you are allowing him whenever he needs it coupled with you giving him Mouth Gig, he would have gotten so use to you. You were once not into sex so that pushed him to masturbation. Right now he sees you as a fellow man in the house. To spice up the sex life, try to smell nice and always be on nude. Give him a treat, suck him and f*CK him well through the night. That will reset sexual urge towards you. All the best quote author=Kingibiza post=122749390]Saw this on Facebook and it really got me, masturbation has really destroyed a lot of people
Please don't listen to this sugar quote story oo. Ivory coast mostly Abidjan is very costly oo. I stay there for more than a year. House rent is very expensive. A standard room self con is about 45k per month, something we pay 120k to 150k a year in Nigeria. No better soup there but always expensive too. Cheapest bottle of beer is 600 CFA while Cheapest beer in Nigeria is about 300 naira. CFA is equivalent to naira now. The only place that is cool is the light. Language barrier is another wahala. Gambia is better please. Even as we claim that Nigeria is not good, my dear Nigeria is far better than most Africa countries.
Thanks for the info.
Yes, I will like to visit the Gambia. And now that Ivory Coast is in the offing, I will try visiting there too.
all4zionlover: What would you advice in a situation where a husband loses his job due to gambling and decided not to make any effort in search of another job or business or any legal means of making even little money.
He just wakes up in the morning, have his bath, put on the AC and go back to sleep. Only expecting any little thing the wife can cook to eat? He wouldn't pay any bills, provide anything but very humble helping out with house cleaning and washing.
Knowing that the situation is not funny on the wife and two children.
The wife must struggle to make food available no matter how little for the children, because she can't watch the children go hungry. In a situation like this, when men goes out looking for means of making food available for their children and family, he is comfortable not having anything to offer all the time. Is this the character of a father and husband that loves?
Is this not enough reason to divorce him?
Divorce because your husband is passing through a challenge? Has marriage been this valueless that any little issue we just consider divorcing?
You got married to him when he had money, so what makes you think he will be broke for life. Truth is that your husband is passing through depression and needs your support and encouragement. If you leave him at this time that means you initially married him for comfort and stability. Madam be a support to that man by encouraging him and stop complaining
