"That's my son, I knew you are equal to the task." Gerald hailed his son Khalifa after he had told him everything that transpired at Alex's house.

"Dad you should have seen the look in that man's face when I mentioned hundred billion. He was filled with enthusiasm and anxiety." Khalifa explained further.

"Good job son, we will soon be called billionaires. I can't wait for that time to come." Khalifa said before sipping from the glass cup full of alcohol.
"So when do you plan on accomplishing the mission ?" Gerald asked after the sip.

"Uhmmm I think we should take some time before striking so we won't look too desperate and arouse any suspicions from the wife or Sharon." Khalifa said.

"Suspicion ?? Did you noticed any suspicions from any of them ?" His dad asked getting alert.

"Not much, just that the looks that Mrs Alex carried weren't friendly at all so I can't say if she suspected or not but as for Sharon, she was totally convinced." Khalifa explained.

"Don't underrate that woman boy, she is capable of terminating this plan. You need to be careful when next you go" his father warned.

"Yes dad I will. And dad, It looks like Sharon is also a student of KASU which then means that after this, I will have to withdraw from studying there". Khalifa added.

Gerald felt uneasy at first when he heard that but later recuperated when he thought about what he stood to gain from the plan and decided to proceed because the money was worth the risk.

"Don't worry my son, after this, we will live this state to a distant one where no one knows us and there we will start a fresh life" Gerald said.

They talked and tossed alas, they celebrated their victorious beginning by drinking.

"My love you don't have to feel that way, nothing bad will happen to us okay, just try and get over that though of yours and brighten up so that the people won't notice that something us wrong with you" He comforted her.

"Darling promise me you won't leave us no matter what ?" Mrs Nicolas told her husband.

Nicolas was confused about his wife sudden behaviour. She was looking worried and fear had taken over her face. He moved towards her and held her cheeks looking straight into her eyes.
"My love I won't leave you. You and Bella are the only family I have and I don't intend to add another because I love you so much and won't let anything harm you. If you are worried about the security, we will be guarded by armed forces during the campaign so please cheer up" He told her.

Mrs Nicolas nodded reluctantly before hugging her husband tight like he was going to die at the campaign.
They walked together outside the mansion into the car.

"Don't go there u I insist . You have to stay away from such people, they are dangerous and have no respect for people of our status. Stay here with me." She convinced.

"Mum if you don't want to go fine but as far as am concerned, I am going and you won't stop me. I don't see anything wrong with going for a campaign" He said and off he went.

Mrs Elizabeth watched her son walking away to the campaign venue. She couldn't help but fear. She didn't wanted her worst fears to come true and she was not prepared for any more problems from Stella (Mrs Nicolas ).

Alex was left alone thinking about what his daughter just said. He knows that if his secrets were to be exposed, he will s pend all the rest of his life in jail.

"if you really want to know, i didn't wanted this meeting to hold because i know where it will lead to and am not ready to be used as a business commodity. This is all of my fathers doing and believe me i was forced to do this" she opened up with fear as to what his reaction might be.

"What ? Then there is no point for this, i don't intend to force you in this too. Am an adult and i understand you" Khalifa said trying to be civil to maintained his position as Kroos' son.

" am going, there is no point for this" Khalifa said to give Sharon some fear and hopping she stops him.

"what ? There is no how this can work if you are not interested" he maintained his acting skills.

"We can pretend to be okay please. I don't want my dad to be annoyed with me please. Save me khalifa" she begged him.

Khalifa thought a little and agreed to pretend afterall he don't even mean it. He was there for a mission and once he accomplish it, he will disappear for good.

"thank you" Sharon thanked looking down.

Sharon told him everything about her from beginning to end. She told him about her school life and friends but didn't mention Edwards name.

Khalifa was really shocked when he realised they are from thesame school.
"what's that your name again." he asked her.

"sharon" she replied.
Khalifa thought for a moment and remembered Sharon to be Edwards girlfriend's name. He always heard of that Sharon back in school but had never seen her. He even took part in trying to destroy her relationship by collecting money from Bella to pay some importer guy but didn't had the chance to see her himself.
He was very smart not to ask her about Edward in other not to arouse questions and suspicions.

"so tell me about you" Sharon brought him back from his thoughts.

He lied to her about everything and he knew better than telling her about his real self. He lied of schooling abroad and being in charge of his fathers business here in Nigeria.

Khalifa was not himself after hearing that Sharon was studying in same school as him. He got uncomfortable and didn't stayed long before announcing his departure.
They walked to the sitting room holding hands and Alex couldn't be more happier than then.
"i told you, they will get along" he whispered to his wife who was shocked herself. She knew they were up to something because Sharon won't be that easy to lure.

"So how is your encounter with my daughter ?" he said with in bright face.

"sir, i can't explain my feelings now. Your daughter is a most wonderful person to be with to be premised. I just had the best moment of my life" khalifa said in enthusiasm.
" that's my baby, for and give daddy a hug" he open his arms for a hug.

Mrs Alex couldn't say anything but due to the drama she was watching.

"Because of the happiness i feel now, i can't help but add your name among the list of people to be awarded the contract from my families company. I am really happy" he said with joy.

Everybody was shocked at that pronouncement, Sharon was more shocked because to her it was just a game of pretence but she didn't understood why khalifa was doing that.
" you don't mean it do you ?" Alex asked in anxiety.

"sir your daughter deserves more than that. You don't know how happy she has made me. In fact this is just the beginning" khalifa said.

"so what are the requirements for this contract" Alex asked.

"oh! Its nothing much for someone of your status. You will have to spend almost a billion to process some proposals and papers. But because of your daughter, i will get half a billion and you will be giving a contract worth a hundred billion" he explained.
"oh! My son thank you very much. When the time comes please inform me and i will get the money ready" he said.

They discussed about the project before khalifa left with Sharon walking him to his car.
"why did you gave that to my father ? Isn't this suppose to be a game of pretence ?" she asked
