Ohh my God, if truly Mufti Menk is like this, then I am in love with him. I used to think he's one of those Muslim Sunnis always leading other Muslims astray, so far he preaches unity which is peace, and he doesn't condemn others which means he loves peace, then he's a true Muslim. A true Muslim is the one that bears the name Islam which means peace. Anyone who looks for peace in the world is a true Muslim m what does condemnation lead to if not fight, publicly insulting others base on their aqeedas is looking for fights and wars, so anyone who doesn't do that have my full support.

The hadith that said so is highly defective ,go and conduct a proper research on it (that is if you have the requisite knowledge and tools). Whose message or messenger did the prophet 's parents reject to make them suitable for hell.We should be applying a lot of hadiths with wisdom.

To correct you, Ustadh Sarumi practices sufism for a very long time, you can call to ask him. secondly, speaking about aqeedah all the time is not fard ayn but fard kifayah. If other scholars are discussing and I am not it and I do not go against scholars discussing it I am not. I can be a scholar specializing in Fiqh and Akhlaq, and if anyone approaches me for issues of aqeedah, I can refer them to scholars of such. It does not mean I do not have the right aqeedah myself. So lets get that. I am not telling you not to negate as nafiyy is allowed in Islam. What I am saying is call him to correct him, thats sunnah and stop maligning his person by posting all these around. For you to say he is skipping a verse, do you know why? Are you in his heart? Have you called him to confirm he is speaking it because of that? Has he told you he is a deobandi?
