Regarding the Quran, there's something I want to be clear on. While growing up, we weren't allowed to TOUCH the Quran unless we had wudu... Then some folks told us wudu wasn't a condition for tilawah.
But, till date I still see some guys from where I grew up who still make wudu before tilawah and if the wudu vitiates before they finish tilawah, they get up and renew it...

My issue is, what's the right approach?
