Oh, you mean just like your Caliph Uthman-created quran that also has various versions in english, as can be seen below shocked :-
Too much talks doesnt solve anything. All you have to do is present Quran that contradict themselves. For instance, there are some Bibles that have some verses expunged. The like of Amplified Bible which is missing many books etc. I can go on and write out more examples. But in the Quran, even english translations they are consistent. I was reading a Bible(name withheld) 2days ago and it's missing a verse like say John 13:1,2,4,5,6,7,8,10. Can you spot what i am talking about?. But you will never see this with Quran.

Let me remind you again that Quran is in arabic. It's all the same. Once it's translated in to other language(s), it's no longer Quran, it's translation of the meaning. Your (Bible) original manuscripts are lost in history.

So if you think there are inconsistencies with Quran, kindly bring them forward. I dont want to hear much talks like you did up there. That's irrelevant. All i need from you is evidence. Simple right?. ifeaan and dejign already tried this but failed. You are next.

What was in existence when Jesus Christ lived on earth was the Old Testament.
The New Testament was written subsequently.
Many manuscripts exist of these in the original languages.
What we have today are various translations from these original languages.

The Quran too has different translations.

The true Muslim must believe in the authenticity of the Bible as Mohammed did – Sura 5: 68, Sura 21: 7

When Jesus Christ is called THE WORD OF GOD it means he embodies all of God’s revelation to mankind.

See Sura 3:45; 5: 46, 110; 57:27.

Is that title not also one of Jesus’ titles in the Quran – i.e. the Word of God.
Man, don't get it twisted. Qur'an is Arabic, one version. Translation are not Qur'an.

Empiree:
Say you have a desire to read the Bible for the first time. So you go to your local bookstore or check online for a free version. But rather than simply find a copy of the Bible, you’re faced with hundreds of choices. You feel overwhelmed. Who knew there were so many versions of the Bible?

You find study Bibles, archaeological Bibles, devotional Bibles, women’s Bibles, patriotic Bibles, teen Bibles, and even skater Bibles. Skater Bibles?! you think. You finally find the “plain” Bibles and prepare to pick one out.

Then you realize that there are dozens and dozens of different translations of the Bible, often known by their abbreviations: King James Version (KJV); New International Version (NIV); English Standard Version (ESV); New Revised Standard Version (NRSV); New Living Translation (NLT)—the list goes on and on.

How do you choose a Bible? What’s the difference between all these translations? Why are there so many? Now, dont tell me the difference is just translations. No, that's incorrect. Let me give you example of what Quran is talking about. It says you have distorted your Bible (in the form of ommision, addition, etc). Now let's take a look at CASE STUDY (see below)

Good News Bible

The Bible is divided into two(2):

*used by Catholics
*used by protestants

Now, Catholic Bible (Good News) has 73 chapters BUT Protestant Bible (Good News) has 66 chapters

So it means there are 7 chapters missing from Protestants' Good News Bible

Catholics say their Book is original and that any omission from their Book is false and they have evidence in their Book of Revelation.

Protestants also said their Book is original and nothing is missing. They have evidence in their own as well. Revelation 22:18-19 against one another. So I ask all Christians, if I have Protestant's Good News Bible, I go to any church and pastor says "open John 3:16". I am sure everyone or almost everyone will be able to do so.

Now, if pastor goes further and he says "open the book of Baruch chapter 1:1". There is going to be problem because Pastor is using Catholic Good News Bible. But you as church goer will never find the book of Baruch chapter 1:1 in Protestant's Good News Bible.

So this is my research. I dont need to do this research to believe what Quran says about that:

So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah ," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn. 2:79

But those who wronged changed [those words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them, so We sent down upon those who wronged a punishment from the sky because they were defiantly disobeying.2:59

But do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare?2:77

And hadith:

Narrated Ubaidullah: Ibn 'Abbas said, "Why do you ask the people of the scripture about anything while your Book (Quran) which has been revealed to Allah's Apostle is newer and the latest? You read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah has told you that the people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and distorted it, and wrote the scripture with their own hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for a little gain. Does not the knowledge which has come to you prevent you from asking them about anything? No, by Allah, we have never seen any man from them asking you regarding what has been revealed to you!" (Bukhari Volume 9, Book 92, Number 461)

There are bunch of Bibles. They are way too much. So if you deny this allegation above, then, I urge you to do research instead labeling muslims "taqqiyah", "ignorance". That doesn't help you at all. I have piles of Bibles...some even with ridiculous names.

So with confusion in the case study I gave above, I confidently ask you which Bible Jesus actually preached?. I am coming to King James itself as it contradicts other vis-a-vis. So malvisguy212, you dont need epistle to answer simple question. You dont need copy paste to give simple answer.

Qur'an contains 114 chapters and any Muslim can use it anywhere, anytime, any-day. A Nigerian Muslim can confidently use his/her Quran in America. American can confidently use his/her Bible in China and so on. It's all the same. So by definition of "Change" Quran refers to, let's take a look at dictionary.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/change: Change means to become different

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/change. Definition
: to become different

: to make (someone or something) different

: to become something else

So is Qur'an right or wrong?.

Ifeann:
Wow.. u are making a big mistake...
The same system of meaning is used in case of Aisha(RTA) as well but you choose what suits you.

Was She Really Six / Nine Years?!

Imam Bukhari documents, narrated by 'Aisha herself, that she was married to the Prophet at the age of six in the 2nd year of Hijrah; and the marriage was consummated while she was 9years.

Note: The age varies from 6 - 7, then 9 - 10 as far as Sunni different documentations are concerned.

However, further investigations shows that:
Exhibit 1: Imam Ibn Jarir Tabari (d. 310 A.H), wrote in his ‘History’:

“In the time before Islam, Abu Bakr married two women. The first was Fatila daughter of Abdul Uzza, from whom Abdullah and Asma were born. Then he married Umm Ruman, from whom Abdur Rahman and Aisha were born. These four were born before Islam.”
{Tarikh Tabari, vol. 4, p. 50.}

It is a common knowledge that the holy Prophet propagated Islam for 23years. 13years in Makkah and 10years in Madinah. 'Aisha was said to be "six (6) years" in the 2nd year of Prophet's 10years in Madinah. So, how could this ever be when Imam Tabari reported 'Aisha along her elder brothers and sisters were born before Islam? That should make her at least be 15 - 16years in the 2nd year Hijri.

Exhibit 2: Imam Wali-ud-Din Muhammad ibn Abdullah Al-Khatib in a brief biographical notes on the narrators of Hadith reports. He writes under Asma, the older daughter of Abu Bakr:
“She was the sister of Aisha Siddiqa, wife of the Holy Prophet, and was ten years older than her. … In 73 A.H. … Asma died at the age of one hundred years.”
{ Mishkat al-Masabih, Edition with Urdu translation published in Lahore, 1986, vol. 3, p. 300–301.}

Exhibit3.: Imam Ibn Kathir, in his book "Al-bidayya wal-nihaya," seconded this submission:
“Asma died in 73 A.H. at the age of one hundred years. She was ten years older than her sister Aisha.”{Vol. 8, p. 346.}

If 'Asma died in 73 A. H at the age of 100years, that will make her 27 years in 1H (first year of Hijrah). Since, she's 10years older than 'Aisha, in the 1st Hijri, 'Aisha's age should be 17years (27 - 10 = 17).
And as agreed upon, she married the Prophet in the 2nd year of Hijrah, then she was 18years old then.
********************

Some Sunni scholars are hell-bent and desperately insisting that 'Aisha was six advancing their argument with the myth that only Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim were the most accurate book of tradition. They did this for two reasons:

1. To preserve and protect the claim of the "accuracy" of Sahih Bukhari. Admitting the age 6 is wrong is tantamount to finding fault in "almighty sahih al-Bukhari!"

2. To maintain the "status" of 'Aisha, according to them, being the "only virgin" the Prophet married. After all, a girl of 6years is a virgin?! Here, the intent is to prove her "spiritual purification".

This second point is thrown into thrash bin by the revelation of Surah Tahrim (Quran chap. 66).

Besides, aren't you the same cretin cautioning your boyfriend, that retar*ded guy to stop using "ra*pe" ....that it is incorrect and untruthful? And now you use the word like no other before. You are dishonest and shameless

Islam › Re: Islam For Muslims: Side Talk Station by Empiree: 12:52am On Mar 10, 2015
What Happened to America's First Muslims?

What does it mean for a religion to be woven into American history?

The presence of Muslims in the early United States is well known to scholars -- historians have put their population in the tens of thousands -- yet when President Obama noted last month that "Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding," he was greeted with incredulous outrage.

There was controversial Christian historian David Barton scoffing that Islam's influence could be seen mainly in the role followers of Muhammad played in the slave trade and the Barbary Wars, while South Carolina Congressman Jeff Duncan wondered if the president's "Jakarta elementary education" might be responsible for his view of the past.

An editor of a Catholic newspaper put doubts about the president's historical literacy plainly when he asked, "Is he high?"

But it's not up for argument that this majority Christian nation has a spiritual history much more diverse than usually supposed.

As Obama's critics have noted, there were, of course, no Muslims among the Founding Fathers. Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both owned copies of the Quran, but they may have been as unaware of Muslims living in the young United States as David Barton and Jeff Duncan are today.

Muslims' presence here is affirmed in documents dated more than a century before religious liberty became the law of the land, as in a Virginia statute of 1682 which referred to "negroes, moores, molatoes, and others, born of and in heathenish, idollatrous, pagan, and Mahometan parentage and country" who "heretofore and hereafter may be purchased, procured, or otherwise obteigned, as slaves."

The number of Muslims brought to this predominantly Christian land would have equalled the populations of many religious groups in 18h century America. In fact, men and women with connections to Islam in the newly independent United States would have rivaled the memberships of Methodist or Roman Catholic churches, and far exceeded the number of Jews.

No one would challenge the notion that these other faiths "have been woven into the fabric of our country," so why has the presence of Muslims in early America been forgotten? In part because the role of religion in the origins of slavery has been replaced in popular memory with later distinctions made according to race.

Some of the original slavery laws actually were more concerned with the content of forced laborers' beliefs than with the color of their skin. From the perspective of Europeans of the time, the reason for this was clear: Belief could spread in a way that color could not.

Even in 1685, a Spanish law stated, "The introduction of Mohammedan slaves into America is forbidden on account of the danger which lies in their intercourse with the Indians." Religious difference was regarded as highly contagious, and thus dangerous.

In the English colonies of North America to which we more often trace our nation's history, slave owners originally assumed Christians should not be slaves. Christian servants might work for a predetermined period under slave-like indenture, but the duration of their servitude was limited by definition. Non-Christians, on the other hand, could be trapped in bondage for life.

This arrangement soon proved untenable, however. If slavery was defined in relation to belief, conversion would become a potential path to freedom. Only after a Virginia law of 1667 guaranteed that baptism would not "alter the condition of the person as to his bondage or freedom," did English settlers declare that all enslaved men and women "brought or imported into this country, either by sea or land, whether Negroes, Moors, Mollattoes or Indians... shall be converted to the Christian faith."

The motivation for this was as much a matter of control as a genuine desire to spread the gospel. Praising the "beneficial effects of religious instruction" on the enslaved, one slaveholder later wrote, "those who have grown up under such instruction are more honest, truthful, moral... and devoted to their owners' interests than those who have not enjoyed the same advantages."

Given this history, it's no surprise that the place of Islam in the nation's past should make so many so uncomfortable. It was actively eradicated and replaced by the religious tradition with which the majority of Americans identify today.

Muslims were indeed here from the beginning, but the beliefs and practices they brought with them only rarely endured. Their experiences serve as a reminder that every faith woven into the fabric of our country has been made up of strands both light and dark.

HELSINKI (AP) — Finland's state radio channel YLE is broadcasting readings of the entire Quran in Finnish to improve knowledge of Muslim culture in the Nordic country.

The 60 half-hour readings are accompanied by comments from the translator of the Islamic holy book and Imam Anas Hajjar of Finland's Islamic Society.

The chairman of the organization, Mohammad Hussein Omar, on Sunday described the readings as a good way to help people understand the religion and Muslim customs better.

There are an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 Muslims in Finland, which has an overall population of 5.5 million. The country has only one building constructed as a mosque, in the early 1940s. Other Muslim prayer rooms or mosques are former schools, cinemas or municipal halls.

In Islam after everyone dies the torture or punishment in the grave is certain for some people and not for others. If a person dies and was a believer but not a good person, they will receive punishment for the sins they did in this life. If a person is a believer and does as Allah told that person to do in this life, for example follow the Quran and the way of the Prophet (peace be on him), then Allah will forgive their sins and also the punishment in the grave.

If before someone dies, they say the Kalima- 'La ilaha illallahu Muhammadur Rasul ullah' (there is no God except Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is His Messenger), then Allah will forgive all of their sins and they will not have any punishment in the grave or in the hereafter. No one knows if they will say the kalima or not before they die, only Allah knows.

Three Questions will be asked in the Grave:

1. What is your deen? (Religion)
2. Who is your God?
3. Who was sent to you with the message of Allah?

These three questions will be answered easily by good practising muslims whose sins will be forgiven by Allah, but people with bad deeds will not be able to answer them. Answering these questions is not a thing of memorising them, our hearts will answer them if we worship and obey Allah in this life. If we do not obey and worship Allah in this life, then answering these three questions will be impossible.

This shows that being a Muslim isn't just by proclamation but by daily practice of what Allah commands. If you claim you're a Muslim and kills unjustly, rapes and commits other heinous crimes, you're not free from purnishment. However, Allah says no Muslim will be in hellfire forever.
The one you talking to up there is another blocked-head. As you could see, i didnt waste my time explaining anything. We know him very well. He doesnt believe in hadith...your explanation here is like poetry in his ears. He will quote you this verse of the Qur'an to proof you otherwise (Qur'an 36:51-52). According to empire this is islamic science of the grave.. pls empire explain this to us..
You dont get it do you?. I said what the grave brouhaha has to do with eschatology you raised?. Weiting concern me with whats going on with anyone in the grave?. If you want to know what's up in the grave, you just have to wait for your turn. Isnt that simple?

And who told you is not physical, Mohammed was reported to have said when an unbeliever is buried, his grave will contracts soo much that his ribs from the opposite side will clamp together while the grave of a believer will be widened. Are you saying this is talking about spiritual ribs or what?
Whats the purpose of asking?. If you go to the mosque chilling, does that look like a serious student?. Instead of asking silly questions, how about you wait until your turn?. All your questions shall be duly answered after you are shrouded. Dont you think this is the perfect answer to your question.

Point of correction the OP isn't a muslim, and for the fact that he lied that he was chilling in the mosque shows that any reasonable muslim shouldn't take him serious.
That's it. usermane is another blockhead. See answer he gave....that i am buying time?. I didnt even care for a second to answer someone who went to masjid to chill. You think such fella wants to hear anything needless to say learning.

userman guy see the way they behave yet blamed me. Not even once these holier than thou admitted we had right answers to their questions. You think they are here for intelligent dialogue?. I already sensed that, thats why i can care less. And if he thinks a disbelieving dead person will be sleeping down there with pillow and comforter, I say "sun re oooooooooooooooo".

The song of Isa ibn Mariyam (AS)

My meal is fasting,

My standard is awe of Allah.

My clothing is of simple wool,

My prayer in winter is at suns rise.

My lamp is moonlight,

My steed is my legs.

My meal is whatever the earth gives me.

I lay down to sleep at night and have nothing,

I awake in the morning and have nothing, yet there is no one richer than I.
