There are two ways to see things:[b] External and internal perspectives. Those fellas who dance to media's tunes, believe in all media gibberish, are cattles (spiritually blind people). And it doesn't matter if they are professors, PhD or degree holders or pastors. Same goes to some non-religious affiliates with low IQ.

So Op's perceptive for example, is that western sunshine, beautiful highrise buildings and so on are signs of progress. They are "one eye" people. They don't believe in anything beyond material reality. But people with internal intuitive i:e "internal eye", eye of the heart(the ability to be able to think), their thinking capacity encompass that of OP and the likes.
Their solution is they need to refrain from having unlawful sex. This is barely taught in churches these days. Once they choose part of zina (adultery, fornication), it destroys their spiritual enigma. Even Muslims are not perfect but we always remind ourselves everyday, every week (Friday prayer) about refraining from unlawful activities. Let's leave it here now. Let him continue his rant.

u see, bros, u gonna have to reason with Baqir. i have been sharing "shia" political views for 5yrs now. They are correct (of course, not all the time). But why is it that our brothers here dont understand that?. I honestly refused to call them (just) extremists. Thats not enough. It's important to call them what they are. They are zionists funded fanatics fighting Yankee j/ha/d against fellow muslims. Yet they mute while israel slaughtered Palestinians. Sometimes we have to call a spade a spade.

I have dramatically reduced my online chats over the past 4yrs cus internet has long memory ( if u know what i mean). I definitely agree with Baqir in many things he says bcus they are inline with "sunni" ahadith. I'd prefer not to comment in most cases on his post. I just dont want this turn in to sectarian stuff again pls.

True. But they care less to listen. The Wahhabi/Salafis portraying themselves as elites of Muslims are real problem. Guys, you need to visit naijagistsdotcom, see how Christians throw insults and blackmails at this woman for reverting to Islam. It's crazy. These same folks claim to be peaceful and tolerant. Haq, those ahadith simply indicate it's neither mandatory to offer taraweeh in jummah. You know, early Ulama did good job by reasoning. At the time of the Prophet(S), Muslims are not over 1bn. I believe that it's important to pray in jummah for awareness purposes. Folks also have option of praying taraweeh solo. It's actually needed in this modern times to bring muslims together. So Tbaba/Baqir are correct really.

I trust Baqir, he can write 5 paragraphs per reply. He probably talks a lot in real world grin

He consistently quote that hadith as if we all believe in such. And to even throw his claim in the garbage, if capital punishment is applied on apostates(death), why do they have many Christians in the ME?. They should all be dead long time. He needs to shut up. U see usermane, ur problem is your creed is weak. At some point u may be right and i personally share some of ur thoughts but consistently shifting blames on Muslims make u unpopular.

I remember telling u that most misconceptions about Islam today from non-Muslims are media's fault. You consistently blame Muslims again and again. Unless and until u change ur view, they would ignore you. Another example is ur latest topic talking about bemoaning stuff. I chose to ignore commenting on it.

Now back to topic, there is nothing like killing apostate for changing religion. It doesn't matter how highly a Sheik supports such. Bottom line is killing apostate is not in Qur'an. It's the opposite. As for cutting hand stuff, going by the way you talk (ur creed) that Qur'an is enough to judge, now Qur'an says to "cut off"( or something close to that) thieves hands(5:38). So why don't you agree with that since you claim only Qur'an is enough? Answer that pls.

Using the right methodology, it's inappropriate to severed the hands of thieves in weak economy. That's adding insult to injury. I believe that Surah 5:38 is talking about "BIG THIEVES" (i:e Qintar ) folks in IMF, Bankers, politicians etc who rip off unsuspecting masses. Not average people trying to find something to eat. Average man is poor cant get a job. Has parents, siblings to feed and then "Shariah" court cut off his hand is just very stupid. People like that should be given jobs, put them in rent subsidized homes etc. Or better still, give them Shariah compliance loan (that's, riba-free loan) for those who which to open small business. That's how it should be. Shariah must be applied with wisdom.

And you should know that those who apply Shariah in naija seem weak themselves. Why not cut off hands of politicians looting taxpayers money?. This is why politicians don't want Shariah on national level bcus their hands will pay dearly. It's therefore hypocritical to apply such law on poor but declare immunity to big thieves.

As for u (unsermane) they will keep ignoring you cus you sound ignorant even you make good point sometimes that i can agree with. You off the hook in most cases

Hey, I have question for you. I am looking for a better, average cost, water(rain) sound-proof roof sheet. Since you are in this business, do you mind telling which roof is best (in terms of rain sound-proof).

I am aware of Aluminum Step Tiles but not sure if it's rain proof. I dont want to hear rain outside when i am inside. I was told Asbestos Slate is best for this option. How true is this?. I just dont like that old thing. As for Aluminum Step Tiles, looks like new fashion of old "ile panu". Also roof that perfectly fit on parapet. Thanks

Sorry to interject. If i may add, non-hijabi lady is from Germany. This is CAIR fundraising event we attended in April in Brooklyn. She was sitting next to me(not pictured). Photographer asked if she's Muslim. She was not actually. She came to US on a visit about something else but was fortunate to attend CAIR's event. And yesterday i met her at masjid and was wondering whats going on. She was covered but i quickly recognized her. She asked I think i know you?. Of course i said. We met at CAIR fundraising in April. "oh yea yea but you look different today" she said. That was because I wore a kind of different traditional Arabic hat on Ankara. I said you look different too. You Muslim now?. She said i think I am convinced.
