PoliticsRe: Subsidy 101: Q &A On Subsidy. by Empredboy(m): 11:37am On May 27, 2015
kinibigdeal:
Your comment are too loopsided. The fact that you said you were against it in 2012 due to your unfounded fact speaks alot about your personality and you supporting it now enapse my conclusion. The protest against subsidy in 2012 was highly political and not for the interest of the nation, the calculation was to render this present administration ungovernable in lieu of their interest in 2015 which really work for them perfectly. Majority of the policy GEJ administration had then was strongly opposed through press and whatever platform because of their political calculation of 2015. The effect was, the more you oppose a beneficial policy, the more the aesthetic decay compiled and remain unsolved. Now the consequence of their unfounded critics is what they want to carry now which is almost impossible to solve in 8years. The problem we have as a nation is that our critics are never issue based but political gain
you got it wrong, what make u a leader is an abililty to stand firm in ur belief. When OBJ wanted to deregulate telecommunication, sebi the gove of edo state then NLC president was against it but OBJ still had his way now we all are enjoying GSM. OBJ wanted to deregulate d oil sector we all were ignorantly against it but he tactically fustrated the cabals by increasing the PMS price but yar'dua reduse it thinking he was doing d nation good.
PoliticsRe: Subsidy 101: Q &A On Subsidy. by Empredboy(m): 11:27am On May 27, 2015
Guys, i dnt want to talk as an economist dat i am but as a layman so dat we all will understand dis subsidy matter. Yes there is subsidy but the marketers are eating fat on the subsidy loopholes. Let me give u an exampl; this marketers will import fuel, show it to d NNPC for subsidy collection on what they imported, instead of them taking the fuel to nigeria filling stations they will take it back to outside d country either thru d sea or sell to benin rep people. Yet they sell back to this foreigners in d same price they sell in the international market. So they earn money frm naija govt for what they didnt import n sell back to outside country.
If govt removes subsidy n allow d forces of demand n supply to occur as its done in telecommunication then these criminals will be sent away.
PoliticsRe: Radio Stations Shutting Down by Empredboy(m): 10:05pm On May 23, 2015
MrMcJay:
Ok

Doyin Okupe's aide once said GEJ would rather hand over to the military than Buhari.

There have also been several corroborative reports of GEJ wanting to hand over to the military instead of President-Elect Buhari. Remember, GEJ's transition committee hasn't submitted a single transition document to the APC team.

Today, due to the deliberate mischief of GEJ, telecoms service Providers and radio stations are shutting down. These are the last lines of communication in cases of security breaches and coup plots. This same thing was a factor during the Orkar coup.

I hope what I am thinking is not what is playing out.
this is what i was just telling my wife

SportsNpfl Team Of The Week 7 By Lmc by Empredboy(op): 2:05pm On May 05, 2015
Following a weekend of superb goals and
thrillers in the Nigeria Professional
Football League, SL10 reporter Ademetan
Abayomi picks the match day seven best
XI.
Ikechukwu Ezenwa [Sunshine Stars]
The former Heartland goalie pulled off
magnificent saves in a familiar terrain. He
kept the Akure Gunners in the game with
his bravery.
Chibuzor Okonkwo [Gabros FC]
Always alert and precise in his tackles
while also causing trouble up front and
exposed the usually disciplined Enyimba FC
backline. And he capped a brilliant
performance with a late penalty strike.
Jonathan Zikiye [Dolphins FC]
The defender was an absolute dynamite
and in total control throughout, displaying
some excellent positioning and making
dynamic interceptions. Never gave a
centimetre and he simply denied the Lobi
Stars forwards any space. He scored the
first goal for his side.
Samuel Olabisi [FC Taraba]
Held a determined Sharks at bay when
they pressed hard, making eight crucial
clearances and although he had the least
touches, he made most of them count.
Never backed away and a real reference
point for the whole defence.
Ebenezer Odunlami [Sunshine Stars]
Ebenezer's ball winning qualities showed
once again as Sunshine brushed aside
Heartland in Owerri. He was brilliant and
uncompromising at the back.
Usman Mohammed [FC Taraba]
An impressive performance by the Dream
Team ace who switched roles at will. Was
always impressive and seemed to engage
another gear when he moved into a more
offensive role, marrying work-rate with
undoubted skill.
Uche Martins [Wikki Tourists]
Showed he meant business with an
amazing goal. Continued to be at the heart
of Wikki’s attacks. He was a livewire for
the hosts.
Tunde Adeniji [Sunshine Stars]
Totally in control and his every ball and
run was as potent as an effective Frank
Lampard. Worked tirelessly and screamed
home two fabulous goals.
Charles Henlong [Giwa FC]
He probed like an aggressive Brazilian
Wandering Spider. His venomous skills
saw him traumatise Bayelsa United.
Mubarak Umar [Wikki Tourists]
Got two well-deserved goals as his
determination offered him success. Not
overawed by Rangers big defenders, the
forward eagerly and consistently found
form on Sunday.
Ugochukwu Leonard [Nasarawa United]
Leonard was at his scoring best and
showed his authority upfront. Never
allowed the visitors a moment’s rest and
his precise finishing was a joy to behold.
