RomanceRe: Why Online Dating Won't Work For Nigerians Especially On NL by emsquare(m): 7:32am On Apr 02, 2012
Well said!

cugresources: 1. Majority of the girls or ladies looking for date online, don't really want to meet just nice guys, but miracle money-guys (rich, handsome, God-fearing, sexy, loving, caring, homely and all) to spend money on them and meet their numerous financial needs, which cannot come in one package even in real life; which was the main reason they (girls) decided to widen their search online, not necessarily becos they don't have dates in real life or are not being approached by guys in real life, but becos they want a rich-prince-charming who must also be a pope johnpaul and romeo at the same time.

2. Majority of the guys looking for date online are not financially buoyant to meet the above criteria that the ladies are looking for.
3. Majority of the guys are actually looking for sexmates and not true love.
4. The girls that are searching for true love without criteria 1. attached to their search, are not good-looking, or they are over-aged. and they are also very few in number.
5. The few nice, honest and ambitious guys looking for date online have no money, which makes them stand no chance of getting a date online since the majority of the females want rich guys to spend on them and take care of their needs.
6. The frequent bashing on both genders (especially the Nigerian girls) and ego-fight between the guys and the ladies here will make many to lose focus on connecting with their true love, which was the primary reason most signed up on NL.
7. Nigerian ladies are too scared of poverty, which no one should blame them cos of the present economic situation of the country, tribute to our frequent corrupt leaders. And on the one hand, Nigerian guys want the ladies to start loving them even while they are yet to become rich or great, as a way of proving that their love for them is real, while the Nigerian ladies maintains that history has taught them not to stay with a potential guy cos when he finally gets money, that he would dump them that suffered with him for new girls. which if at all its true and happens often, is a case to ponder....so all these facts and more, are some of the reasons internet dating won't work for Nigerians on NL and other social n. sites.

PhonesRe: RIM Retreats From Consumer Market After $125M Loss by emsquare(m): 7:49pm On Mar 31, 2012
Okay!

texazzpete: This is false report and a thorough misunderstanding of RIM's statement today.

RIM WILL refocus on their enterprise bread and butter but will also continue with the consumer market.

What the Ceo meant was that RIM would abandon such plans like BBM Music and plans for video stores etc that were not likely to make it big. Instead of a lame BBM music service for example, it would serve RIM better to partner with Amazon for music on the BBs.

Hope this clears things up. BB 10 phones are coming this year ending and are aiming squarely at the consumer market.

LOL!!!

mykejones: I was more than amazed, perplexed, marveled, shocked, flabaggasted and thrilled by the number of 'views' the jamb thread generated when the results were released some few hours ago. Over fifteen thousand views(and counting) in less than 5hours! This must be a an all time record!
This developement has made me jump in2 dis 'jovial and harmless' conclusion;
1: Killz,Reality101,Slimyem,naijasexy,Pdude and ur likes..reduce ur amount of grammers! Puh-leeez!
2: MR.Cork,born2fuck,freecocoa,Odogwu and ur likes..lol,reduce the amount of xplicit words u use.
3: Please...We all shd reduce the amount of e-fighting,e-bashing,e-tribalism we so much practise here. Can we?
4: The most funniest thread we've seen of recent(craziest/sexiest thing u eva did),should be closed! Lol..2many xplicit contents.
Finally,as much as i meant all these as a joke..am pretty serious. No one is a kid,i knw. But we shd stl try 2 moderate what we place here now.
Another finally again..lol,wish u jambites the vry best. Those who scored less dan 200,there's stl hope. Those who scored more than 200,u'v stl not arrived yet. Gudluck!

Cyborg2011: Quite embarrassment for the developers of Jamb Portal that cannot at least get Dedicated Servers, with Unlimited Bandwidth enough to handle any candidates.

Its very unusual for a well-known site, displaying error 404.

The dudes handling this please should take notes, this a serious issue, meaning individual can also has the capability of bringing down through ddos, because this shows its ddos vulnerable.

Those developers shall spare of millions and please get a better dedicated servers.

Enough said.

Cheers.
