A fresh test to Nigeria's sovereign status is afoot as Movement for New Nigeria has stated its intention to challenge the legality of the 1914 Amalgamation ordinance which gave birth to the Nigerian state.

"The Movement for the
Actualization of Sovereign State
of Biafra, MASSOB, is to train 500
of its members towards ensuring
smooth movement of vehicles
during Christmas period.
The MASSOB Director of
Transport, Chief Charles Oputa,
told newsmen in an interview
that the training would take
place in Onitsha within the first
week of December.
Oputa said that the MASSOB
officers would be adequately
trained to take care of traffic
control during the Christmas
period.
According to him, the decision of
MASSOB to delve into assisting in
traffic control was informed by
the traffic jam experienced
during Christmas period.
He also said that MASSOB was
disturbed by the number of
deaths recorded during Ember
months due to recklessness of
drivers and other road users.
“We cannot fold our arms and
watch helplessly as numerous
Igbos lose their lives through
avoidable road accidents.
“We feel very concerned about
the traffic congestion that is
recorded every Christmas period
and we do not want it to happen
this year.
“This is why MASSOB decided to
conduct training for its members
who will man all the busy roads
and strategic points, he
disclosed.
He advised commercial drivers to
always comply with traffic rules
in order to avoid loss of lives.
Chief Oputa observed, however,
that the provision of good roads
in Onitsha area of Anambra State
had facilitated the operations of
the Federal Road Safety
Commission, FRSC, in easing
traffic in the area.
He also commended officials of
the FRSC for what he described
as their determined effort to
ensure smooth movement of
vehicles on the roads.

I fear for the people of south east, who are in the fore front for the disintegration of Nigeria. My fears are, how can they survive?
Igbo people are known as industrious and enterprising, and this makes them not to hesitate in doing anything that will bring wealth. Majority of crimes are committed and started by Ndi Igbo all in their quest for money. It'll be a survival of the fittest and those that can't survive will run to other countries, but they will be turned down, because every country has its problem. National treasury will be looted and elections will be won by the highest bidder.
Kudi(Money) will be the order of the day. I pity the poor in that nation. It'll be better for them to stay in Nigeria and keep managing or they will use each other for money in that Biafra.
