He is actually interested in playing Basketball of which he has started some kind of practice ; I even went further to buy him a basketball that worth seven thousand five hundred naira early this year. ; because I noticed his high interest in the game.Though, he is a science student.

Basketball? That's fantastic and you got him a ball, you're motivating him. There's even coaching aspect, kinesiology. There's a lot of science in the course too (Anatomy, physiology and others).
If he decides to further his studies outside the country, it's going to be worth it. Keep encouraging him.

Don't mind the OP, if your son is interested in Human Kinetics, let him study the course. If he's interested in one particular sports and plays it, that's a plus. He can venture into Sports management, Health Education, Sports science in his MSc and doctorate.

To the topic, not everyone can have interest in something they don't like, like me, if my mind it's not there, it's not there, I can't pretend about it.
OP has already moved on from his current course of study, he can't program himself to like the course again. Even if he writes an exam or he's preparing for one, his thoughts will always be elsewhere. It's just mindset

Musically, When I listened to Davido’s last album I could tell most of the songs were not written by him, honestly a lot of artists use song writers but you can tell Davido is not a type of artist that spends time in the studio, first he has a lot of unproductive crowd around him coupled with his cult activities going on a daily,

It’s all good, but this can’t get him far internationally, That’s the reason why he’s more focused on working with local artist because he can easily source for lyrics and sounds.
