You just want to defend her. What about when she lied that she didn't see what happened when joeffrey lied that Arya and the butcher's boy attacked him.

She said she didn't see anything, everything happened fast, she didn't know, she didn't remember.
I guess you also didn't hear what Ned told Arya when she pointed this out. He said she could say anything bad about Joeffery because she was bethrothed to him and was to become his queen. As such she must stand by him, like a dutiful queen. Ned knew this, that was why he wasn't angry with Sansa. She was put in a tight spot and she took the route a dutiful intending queen would take.

Now I'm convinced you just watch the pictures and the fights. For you the conversations can go to hell.
That's where this whole hatred for Sansa comes from. Because you guys have refused to watch a series and understand it the way it was meant to be. But because all you guys are interested in is who fight and who died, you abandon the plot, the dialogue, the progression of each character.

The reason I counter most of what is written here is because I know most of you here watch the show wrong. That's why you see some comments that shouldn't surface in the first place.

Learn to really watch a show. You are allowed to hate or like a character (I hated Joeffery so much that I screamed for joy when he died) but don't let it blind you to some plot developments. Don't let it hinder your understanding of the show.

To understand what really happened here, we all have to go back to the very First Law of Thermodynamics which states that --- Energy can never be created nor destroyed but can only be converted from one form to another.

Turns out even the Lord of light is subject to this Law. To create fire, oga Lord has to convert energy he already has into fire. It is from this same energy bank he has been converting & wasting all these years to ressurect Berric.

When Mellisandre came, the Lord of light still had some considerable energy left to convert into fire. This is why oga Lord decided to show-off by individually lighting up the swords of each Dothraki, when the sensible option would have been to light up the sword of only the first Dothraki and allow Domino effect to set-off a chain reaction that would lightup the rest swords the moment the Dothrakis bring their swords a little bit closer to each other.

This unnecessary show-off & waste of vital energy is why when moments later Mellisandre grabbed a thick log of wood in the trench whose surface area was partially coated in snow dust & started screaming " alexio oh no!! e no gree catch!!! " , the Lord of light knew kasala don burst!!

Snow is basically water. To lit up wood sprinkled with snow in a snowy condition, the lord of light knows he has to generate enough heat Energy to first evaporate water content from the wood & surrounding atmosphere. An energy he was now running low on, but foolishly wasted on things of the flesh like --- the Dothrakis, and russurecting Berric...... 19 ffucking times.

If you notice, all the arrows that struck the woods all quenched because they just weren't packing enough heat to light up a wet wood, in a snowy atmosphere for that matter. Snow is basically water.

The Night King understands the Law of Thermodynamics. Why do you think he covered Jon & Dany in a cloud of snow dust? It wasn't just to reduce visibility, it was also to cool down the intensity of dragon fire. That guy just keeps impressing me. First it was his understanding of the Archimedes spiral, now Thermodynamics. This is why he was immune to dragon fire because that genius knows a mere spittle of dragon fire cannot just melt 1000years of accumulated snow in an instant.. Damn!!!!

Back to dumb Lord of Light.. This Nigga was running so low on energy to convert into fire that's why even when his priestess kept screaming "alexio oh no!! e no gree catch!!!" it took him scrapping the bottom of the barrel to produce light. The Lord of light had to close his eyes, tighten his fist so hard he farted before he could produce light.

And someone also asked why the Lord of light didn't ressurect Berric. You have your answer. The Lord of light was completely finished. No more energy. When Berric begged for the 20th ressurection, the Lord of light simply shook his head and said , "Not today.".

The Lord of light's tragic end was a result of his wastefulness. Something that could have been avoided had he payed attention to his engineering classes. To be a successful god, you have to be intelligent too.

Even almighty Thanos had to bend his head down to read, that's why he was able to use Differential Calculus to explain the concept of change & a finite universe with a finite energy source to his daughter, Gamora, in #Avengers infinity war#..

The Lord of Light should be reincarnated as a small god in the surburbs of Osodi or Ajegunle so he can spend the rest of his life on ewa agoyin & schnapp while he reminisces on the good ol days.
Lol

Sansa na very foolish girl o.. was going back to season 1 and 2 and I don't even know what to call her characters anymore.

Maybe she was a kid now but Arya was also a kid and not stupid like that.

There was a time Jeoffrey asked Ser meryn to torture and naked her for Robb's crime in the throne room.
Only for Tyrion to interfere and released her from her purnishment. Then she was asked if she wants to put an end to the whole purnishment. You know what the stupid Sansa said? I am loyal to king joffrey, my one true love. Can u imagine.
Please tell me you knew that she said that because she didn't know who to trust and as such couldn't say evil about the king. Please, just tell me you were joking.
Tell me you're not one of those people who watch the picture alone. Please tell me you listen to the conversations and try to understand it. PLEASE!

That you cancelled the post doesn't mean she's wrong. You are letting your hatred for the character Sansa cloud your judgement. She did the logical thing, same as everybody in that crypt.

Let me pose a question to you. Those who finished from Uniben can also bear witness. If you hear say 'strong men' dey obtain your guy for road (Ekosodin), would you run to his aid as a bad guy wey u dey claim to be, or would you calmly leave him to his 'obtainance' while you focus on your beans and bread?

Well, that is kind of the point. Up until hardhome, Valyrian steel was nothing more than rare resource from an extinct city. It was at hardhome where we saw it could break whitewalker ice swords.

Prior to that, Valyrian steel wasn't piercing or breaking other steel artefacts like that.

Case in point, Jamie Lannister fighting Ned Stark in season 1. Only Ned had a Valyrian steel sword in that battle, and it was not shown to have any other special abilities when used against other metals.

NK possibly has some metal workers in his retinue - it might explain where the chains came from, and how the previously shirtless whitewalker goons rolled up to winterfell clad in armour.

If he could come back, maybe he should do what you said up there, and get a refund cheesy
Thank you for understanding it was a joke and treating it as such.

"look the truth in the face" and see that it takes "heroic strength" and "wisdom" to stand by in this situation "and do nothing".

Everyone did their part, no one is weak, no one is useless, except maybe the fumbling dothrakis with their flaming swords, who did not stick to the plan.

LET THE FIGHTER FIGHT, AND THE RULERS RULE.

But I felt the same way too when I watched that scene. I thought Jon was a goner. Then my brain tried to do some explanation. Maybe it's because it's a rock. Maybe it's because rock is different from ice. Maybe ice melted because it's water but rock did not melt because it's stone. Maybe it's because the rock is hard, very hard.

But wait, dragon fire can melt stone now. Okay maybe it's because...Ehmm, Maybe it's... Maybe...

Quick one. Did you even see how the people already in the crypt looked at Sansa? (Yes i know they were in despair) but only Gilly stood up.
She had the audacity to even hold small talks with Tyrion about the Dragon Queen.....good thing Missandei shut her down.

Have you ever seen Dany with a sword before?

Did you hear her whinge about not knowing how to use it?

Tyrion really fall my hand there by not stepping out...the guyman picked up some items at the beginning of the episode. I thought it was weapons...didn't know it was just wine and maybe bread. grin grin . If they were given small chance, Sansa and Tyrion would've made out right there sef.

Meanwhile i salute Melisandre, Beric, The Hound and Arya.
There is a very small mainroad that separates being brave and being stupid. I prefer being wise. I'd chose the battles I fight well.

Each single person knows where they are good at. Where they are competent, and where they are not. We have warriors, but those in the crypts were not warriors. They do not understand battle, it's strategies...fighting in general. What's the use of putting them in battle only for them to become a liability.

Some people on this thread called same a coward. They faulted him for not going into the crypt. His incompetence on the battle field caused the death of Ed. Would have also caused that of Jon.

You can't eat your cake and have it. You can't chastise Sam for not joining the people in the crypt as he is useless in battle and still go ahead to call those who went useless because they can't pick up a sword and fight. No. It doesn't work that way.

If those in the crypt had fought on the battlefield, best case scenario, they would have died and become wights, worst case scenario, they would have cause the deaths of other soldiers who would probably want to save them...and they would have also died.

One of the bravest things to do is know who you are, who you really are. And be contented with it. Those in the crypt weren't useless. They just stepped aside for those who were good at the killing do it.

I thought there was going to be a conversation there actually.

That Arya move was a cop out. I think the reason for the library scene was to show us just how good she was at sneaking up on people to the point where she makes less noise in motion than a drop of her blood hitting the floor.

To me that's still very wack sha.

Like whats up the Night King's goons anyway? They were just bouncing in slow motion - Arya ran up on their mans right in front of them, and they couldn't even make a move?

Who makes the night king's armor anyway? What is it supposed to protect against, if knives can get through it? It was so anticlimactic to die that way after previously seeing shots of drocarys couldn't stop him, he just took it and smiled.

How can the battle of the Night King be relegated to the background for that of Cersei's? A whole Night king?

A god that survived inside harmattan for 1000 years without Vaseline. No no no!! We can't take this..
The moment Cercie refused to send troops to the north, I knew the battle with the dead wouldn't be the last battle. It meant the north were on their own and the dead were coming for them.

Given the number of key characters in the north, I knew it was a battle they were going to win. They just had to win. Actor no dey die (except Ned, Rob, Ed, Beric, Theon... They are many)

I get your point quite alright and I salute your intelligence. But there is something called CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Most of the viewers criticising some aspects of the show is because it didn't happen the way they want it to happen.
Some of them criticise who does what and why should it be like that.
Criticisms Should be objective but not making it sound as if you know more than the producers of the show.

I share your opinion of without criticism no development but it should be objective.

Now back to your analogy of buying a car built by an engineer with some defect parts YOU DONT LIKE. I like the fact that you said "YOU DONT LIKE" . The fact that you don't like it doesn't mean someone else won't like it depending on what you really want in a car.

Game of thrones is really trying so hard to push their warped version of feminism. Let's kill off the strong male characters or make them look useless while the females save the day. Of the only female characters that died, one slayed a giant and the other was indispensable to the battle, but supposedly powerful male characters like Jon and Bran did almost nothing the entire episode.
That's it! I can't take it anymore!

The writers aren't brilliant. They actually did a very poor job last episode. I was just watching the after credits and the producers say that in order to kill the night king, he had to be stabbed at the exact spot the children of the forest initially stabbed him. What were the chances that Arya would successful sneak jump at him and stab him at that exact spot?
Go watch that part again. They didn't mean that was the only way to kill the Night king. What they mean was poetic ending. That he just had to die the way he was created...Stabbed at that exact spot. I don't know the name the literature guys give that, but I know it's called something

Like how did Arya get past like ten thousand wights and just jump out of nowhere without the night king and his White Walkers noticing? That's shitty writing and a very anticlimactic end to a storyline line that I thought had more. I mean, what about the Azor Ahai prophesy? The Prince of the dawn? All the build up to this battle and all we get is this underwhelming ending. Honestly I'm not even all that motivated to watch the next episode.

Also how is Sam not dead? I could swear I saw him swarmed by at least 10 wights. There are so many characters that should have died in that battle that just miraculously survived. Jaime, Brienne and Gendry should be dead. If the writers wanted them to survive then they shouldn't have put them in those practically inescapable situations.
I kinda felt the same way, but...

Prophesies are tricky things. They don't always happen the way we expect it to. Yeah Jon had a big role to play in the Night King's death, but I think he already played that role.

He lead the widlings the other side of the wall. He united the north after Rob. He convinced Dany to fight the dead. If he hadn't done all those things, I don't think the living would have had a chance. He played his part.

He doesn't have to plunge his sword into someone's heart to play his part.

My own thinking sha...
