Don't mean to digress from the intent of the thread, but I read you might be open to Gustaf joining a new home. I would like to thrown my name in the hat. Would have sent this in an email but I don't want it to get lost in your inbox

I'm actually a dog trainer. Haven't had a dog since after Romeo. I feel Gustaf and I would be a good match (if you decide he needs a new home)

Would like to say why I would be right for him, but like I said earlier, I wouldn't want to digress

Are the pups getting enough milk from the mum?
Is there enough room for the pups?
Are they exposed?

I'm just assuming here. If you need better advice put up a pic of their crib and living condition. Tell us about their feed (mother and pup) These are some of the things the Vet would ask you

Just an advice

If you want people to properly engage you in legit business concerning your dog, you put pictures of the dog here.

Yes you'll get people calling you without the pictures, but you'll lose majority of them because they might be expecting something else when you finally show them the picture.

But if you put the picture now, every person that calls you wants to do business because they already have an idea of they are getting. The only obstacles in the exchange.

Just my 2 cents.

If you own a dog, please answer the following questions:

Do you love your dog(s)?
Do you work late nights?
Is your dog pooping and urinating indiscriminately in the house (not potty trained)?
Does your dog chew and destroy things in the house when you leave?
Is there any behaviour you don't like that you want changed in you dog?
Does your dog bark indiscriminately?
Do you have less time to properly engage your dog?
Do you spend less time training and walking your dog?
Do you want your dog to be trained?
Do you want you dog winning dog shows?
Do you want your dog to be trained by a competent trainer?
Do you stay within Oshodi and Ikorodu axis?


If your answer to most of these questions is Yes, then I'm your guy.

Most times, unwanted behavior in dogs stems from lack of proper walk or training. Everybody wants a well trained dog.

First Aggression in a dog is a bad thing. Don't know why people think a dog being aggressive means it has good traits.

A dog can be a good guard dog or watch dog without being an aggressive dog. Now that's how you know a well bred dog.

Even a chihuahua can be aggressive. It doesn't have anything to do with the dog size.

OP, I love Gustaf. I'm a sucker for Gsds. Hope you're giving him the necessary training. Would be nice if you posted some videos of him performing some basic commands

It's common for dogs to prefer a specific variant of food.
First I would discourage you from giving your dog eba, beans and the likes. Dogs are allergic to some foods eg onions. You wouldn't want to poison your dog by mistake.

You mention your dog likes meat. Good, they need it as it is protein. Even if you give your dog food like rice, crushed noodles, you must make sure there is a balance of other nutrients in the food.
.i would advice try mixing the meat or fish with the other food you're giving eg rice. Make sure the meat and fish is properly crushed and mixed with the food. Give the dog and little and observe. If it takes it, you can increase the portion.

Last price of advice. Don't give your dog a large portion of food at a time. It would lead to wastage as you pointed and the dog thinking the food would be readily available anytime and every time. This is part of training for your dog. No one wants a spoilt dog.

Great cinematography no doubt, far better than the last horrible battle where I couldn't see a thing, at least I enjoyed the destruction of Drogon. That Dragon na confirm beast.....Who says Dany isn't smart - she used gliding and free fall to completely destroy those ships.... quite ridiculous but great steering from Dany.
