This criteria may be true but I doubt if the allocated marks for the WAEC and BSc certificates can be up to 30 marks each. That's a total of 60 for both marks out of 100. I think SOP and the actual interview presentation carry equally significant marks and can't be less than 40 excluding publications . Unless an insider in PTDF reveals the actual criteria, all our calculations are mere speculations at the very best.

For those who may want to calculate their chances, my observations during the interview has led me to this template (my observation);

1. Class of degree = 30marks.
first-class =30, 2'1 =24 etc

2. English, Math + best 3 Olevel grades = 30marks
A1=6marks, B2=5marks, B3=4marks etc

3. SOP + your oral Presentation = 25marks

4. Max 5 professional memberships = 10marks
each membership carries 2mrks...

That's why I said the combination of both is limited to a maximum of 5. It's evident on the portal.

Really? my mentee with 5 professional memberships and 2 publications could only add maximum of 5 on the portal, just want to check if there was a possibility of adding more on the portal during the application stage. They had to tell the interviewers about their other membership and publication by mouth (which they verified by asking for the documents over Teams)

Your statement is what I have observed so far too. Also, some other new criteria seems to have been added altogether in the actual interview which most of us may not even know while national or academic awards have been removed altogether unlike last year's. This year, only the grace of GOD will determine the final awardees. No one can be certainly sure about his/her overall performance until the D-Day. This calls for humility and prayers. I pray GOD in His infinite mercy will see us through in Jesus name . Amen!

Most centers didn't even ask for publications period and only considered Memberships for MSc. Here's my theory; if 10 marks were earmarked for memberships and 5 for publications, centers that only considered memberships weighed each membership as 3 marks as opposed to 2 where as centers that considered both used the original formula where each publication carried 1 mark and each membership 2 marks.

This year, I think Publications and Professional Membership certifications are interchangeable for the MSc applicants and it is limited to maximum of 5. You will notice that when you are on that section of the PTDF portal, both publications and professional certifications are listed in the same input field but you can't add more than 5. Hence, I am thinking 5 publications or 5 professional certifications or a combination of both will still amount to the same maximum mark. Thus publications may not be needed if you already have 5 professional certifications and vice versa. However, for the PhD, I think publications is a must while certifications may not be as important.

Generally, lecturers going for PhD are encouraged to apply through Tetfund. Else if you allow them they'll pack their published journals and grab all the points
I guess that's why just one published journal is needed. IMHO.

You are right! FSE generally get paid in that 180-200K range! 120K should be for their graduate trainee. Let's try and hear from those that did their Interview yesterday if they mention anything about Salary Pay?

For people that just did their second interview, did IHS mention anything about pay or salary? From what I can read from t[b]remzy07[/b], 120K is too too small for a 3-5 yrs experienced person naa!

Since, the positions are for experienced professionals, it could be in the range of (250K and above) depending on your area of specialization. Who knows? It also depends on other factors such as negotiation, additional professional certifications, years of experience etc

Methinks they plan to contact all successful candidates for all the zones simultaneously once they are ready. I mean Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna or perhaps Port Harcourt zones within this month. Let's keep praying and optimistic in Baba GOD!

OK. You know the whole perimeter will be decked and also the staircase, that will be 10.67m x 9.75m (104 sqm).

Mine was 11.12m x 17.70m (196sqm) so yours is much smaller than mine.
You can post your email and I will send you the quantity materials used on mine, but there were still some irons, granite, and stone dust left on mine that was used for upper level column (pillars) casting and the parapet casting. So estimate much less than mine. Just an idea.

Sir, what is your entire floor area for the building? Mine is 35 feet by 32 feet i.e 10.7m by 9.75 m. Because of the economic challenge in Nigeria, I just want to focus on doing the decking for the 2 bedroom groundfoor for now by buying the materials bit by bit. That's why I asking Nairalanders for the likely estimate. The building is close to lintel level for now. I pray BABA GOD will do a Miracle to speed up the project in Jesus Name. I can't cheat or steal money. Thanks

I think you should pitch a door from the dining to kitchen. Look closely and see to that.

Sir, It has been corrected more than a year ago. There is no more exit between the kitchen and sitting room. Their is now a direct door opening between the kitchen and dining room and an extra exit door from the kitchen to outside the building. Hence, the entire building has 2 exit doors at the ground floor. One is the main door entrance at the sitting room, the other exit is at the kitchen. Thanks

Having 2 bedroom downstairs automatically shows you will want to deck the whole area upstairs which could be another 4bedroom upstairs.
I suggest you get the proper dimension of the proposed structure upstairs in order to acertain the cost involved.

You said its a 2-bedroom duplex, (is)are there no bedroom(s) on the upper floor, because you already have 2 on the ground floor.
