Hello everyone. I will be grateful for anyone who can help me with this clarification in filling the imm1294e form. I have an annual funding support of 9000CAD from a Canadian university. This equals18000 CAD for the 2years. However, in my Letter of Acceptance from , only the 1st year funding of 9000CAD is indicated by the university. Note : in my Scholarship Letter from the university, the funding details for the 2years is written which when added together is 18000CAD. Hence, which amount should I add to my personal funding in the im1294e form? Is it the 9000 CAD of 1yr or the 18000 CAD of 2yrs. Thank you. |

Bobomaigida: 15+10+2.5+3 =30,500 (That is equivalent to N10,370,000)
Your funds are ok. if he does not give you the documents, no wahala. You will however need to write a good SOP to explain the gift deed and why he is gifting you the money. ( You could explain that he has seen the success you have achieved in your business and that he gave you the funds to pursue additional education to allow you come back home with the qualification to expand the business beyond what it is now) This is the link to the official rate used by IRCC. Their rate is about 295 Naira to 1 CAD https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/cgi-bin/recgen/er.pl?Language |

joefit4gur: I don't know much about NSE. Did you order your GCMS notes to know the actual reason you were refused? joefit4gur: I don't know much about NSE. Did you order your GCMS notes to know the actual reason you were refused? No, I didn't because I didn't even know much about the purpose of GCMS notes until this month. But since the refusal last yr was given as insufficient funds to pay tuition and living expenses, this year I have ensure I paid my full 1yr tuition 13,600 CAD upfront, saved additional 20K CAD in account through salary savings and my personal car sale and also got a total of 18K CAD (9K annually) university funding. Fortunately, the second yr tuition is a very small mount of just 4,300 CAD. So my current total funds of 51K should cover the entire 2yr program. But my current confusion is about whether to use NSE again or regular application through printed bank statements. |

joefit4gur: To save space and for authenticity, you should use MBS. But you can still upload the full bank statements. Thanks bro. Last year, I used MyBanKStatement and submitted upfront Medicals and IELTS result in my Study Permit application. This caused my application to be treated very fast within a month through Nigerian Study Express (NSE) but it was refused on the ground of insufficient funds despite having a combimed personal funds and scholarhip of 31K. However, It was just this month I realisedt the mistake I made last year becos the NSE requirements is a minimum of 30K CAD in ones bank account. But this year, I have fully paid my full tuition fees of 13,600CAD upfront. I also have about 20K CAD in my account and extra yearly 9K scholarhip funding. This brings my current financial cover to about 51K CAD. Am I now qualified to apply through the NSE considering my peculiar situation or is it only for those with 30K in account but who hasn't paid tuition fees? This why I am considering the regular application with printed bank statements. Please anyone with experience on this should advise me. |

Hi everyone. Please I would be very glad if anyone can help me with this question. As regards the Nigerian Student Express (NSE) study permit option which requires a minimum of 30,000 CAD on ones bank account to cover first year tuition and living expenses , IELTs and upfront medicals. Does someone who has paid his full year tuition fee upfront but has about 18000CAD in bank account and additional financial funding support from his/her Canadian university also qualified for it? |

I really admire your deep understanding of the situation. I am also very surprised too about how some Nigerians are supporting that man. Is it because of the hatred towards America and the West in general? Let's ask these people how they would feel if Cameroon invade their cities , towns and villages in Nigeria while mudering their people and claiming their land as Cameroon's . God1000: Vladimir Putin is finally coming to his senses, I said it before that Putin more than anyone else wants this war to end.
His ego won't just let him call for peace talks, he grossly underestimated Ukraine and the resolve of the west.
Russia's invasion of Ukraine is a complete fiasco and strategic disaster, Putin should just give up his imperial ambition and colonial fantasies
He can't singlehandedly redraw world map in this 21st century, Putin's harmful expansionism must not be allowed to happen
I don't understand why some nigerians continue praising such a psychopath, mass murderer and war criminal who has committed atrocities and crimes against humanity.
No sane and reasonable person will support such egregious individual.
Anybody in support of Putin's barbarism doesn't have the moral compass to speak against boko haram and bandits who are causing havoc and mayhem everywhere in Nigeria.
This man has made Russia a laughingstock and mockery among nations of the world, he has become a global pariah too. |

Health › Re: I've Not Seen My Period For Almost 7weeks Now, Yet I'm Not Pregnant by Engr2016: 2:55am On Sep 11, 2022 |
There is 90% likelihood you are already pregnant despite the fact it is not fully manisfesting in your body yet. Based on your evidence that you had unprotected sex on the 25th of July while your last day of period was 17th of July, there is is high probability of the sperm fertilizing you on those fertile days as shown in the common fertility-ovulation-menstruation chart below. Medically, a typical sperm can last for 5days in a woman's body. Hence, even unprotected sex few days before actual ovulation can still cause pregnancy. It even seems your sexual encounter fell within the risky ovulation window. You can use the chart below to guide you. Perhaps, your body is not manisfesting the signs of pregnancy yet due to some other factors. Please stay away from premarital sex.

I totally agree with you. At least if they remain and work in the UK and Europe for some time, they will be able to acquire more hands-on skills, experience and financial strength through which they can contribute to the development of Nigerian later. No! PTDF doesn't arrange admissions for successful candidates. Your sister will have to apply to the universities herself. Some schools in UK are still accepting applications. arasola2000: Good evening,
Please does ptdf arrange the admission for or do the students get their admission by themselves.
My sister applied for ptdf and went for the interview but hasn't applied to the schools yet. should she go ahead and apply or wait for ptdf list to be out.
Thanks |

If you are successful, PTDF will handle all funds related matters within their mandate. eludan: Please if one had gone ahead to pay tuition deposit and even applied for visa, will PTDF reimburse? |

I have checked. My course doesn't require ATAS certificate. Many thanks. Giftega: Yeah. It's good you confirm on time if your chosen course requires an ATAS certificate. Also note that if you wish to start in January, you must have applied for your ATAS certificate as we speak. A course starting on January 17th, 2023 for instance, you should make sure you complete your ATAS application on or before 17th of this month...that's just 2 days away.
I wish us all good luck. |

Nawa o! Thanks to our well informed dudes in this forum. I have really learnt a lot from you guys! Just imagine, I have never heard of anything called ATAS certificate before until I saw it on this thread. Giftega: I seriously doubt it o. Reason is because after getting your admission letter, you might need to apply for your ATAS certificate (depending on your program) which must be done at least six months to the start of your program. Without your ATAS certificate, you may not be able to apply for a UK visa. So if your program of choice requires an ATAS certificate, and you haven't been admitted yet, i'm afraid you can't meet up with September start. |

By next month , it would be exactly 1 year since I requested an official transcript from one of the first generation federal universities even before the strike started. Till date they have not even processed it despite several actions I have taken to address it. Nigerian universities seems to be living in the medieval era or stone age by their unprofessional work ethics. The way they oppress innocents students and the alumni is perhaps the way the government too is oppressing them back to back. So disheartening to say the least. Aremson14: With people lyk nasu on strike it wld be quite difficult to get transcripts to various destinations,,, most likely alot of federal uni graduates wld differ |

I usually like reading your comments. Most times, they are filled with insightful information and guides. God bless you. babey543: Yes you are right.
It will be out this month.
Go get admission letter. UK admission is very easy.
Try University of Salford, Derby and Sunderland for fast admission.
But those are low-class universities but accept 2.2 graduates.
Also, try high competitive admission like Manchester, Imperial, Liverpool, UCL, Newscastle, UoB, Uni of Leeds e.t.c however, those places might have been filled. Accepts only 2.1 and First class |
