Please help a brother.

On the 20/07/2018 he went for another dialysis again.

And Dr. finally open up to me that the only way out is to keep doing dialysis or go for a transplant, then i was sad again, i thought her kidney will pick up slowly.

The minimum amount we spend on this thing called dialysis is N50,000 plus transportation and we must do it twice in a week. Some times we do buy blood N15000 screening of the blood N6,000, then we pay for two injection that cost around N12,000.

If not for nairalanders only God knows what would have happen before now. So i a big thank you all.

Please contact your state governor for assistance, also find how you can be given chance on TV to announce this to the public especially on Newsline. AIT and NTA channel 10 are well known for this. If any one knows of any NGO that can offer financial assistance to this family, please do help them. The Lord will assist you bro.

I have been to AIT, Lagos state TV too they requested for all the receipt of dialysis, drugs and hospitals also doctors report and photograph of her on dialysis machine, her before and now photos too.

I have the requested documents now but no doctor' report yet cus the doctors are of the opinion that we should keep doing dialysis for now to enable them decide if she really need a transplant or not. And they have confirm it now, now they ask me to go and write a formal letter to the GMD. To get his approval before they will issue it.

It's a very long process May God see me through on this. I never ever imagine or believe such will happen to me in life.

As I type now she did another dialysis on the 20th she must go for another section after 3 or four days depending on the outcome of her test.

What triggers her condition for her to be readmitted again?

The food that she eats, is it Dr r nutritionist that recommended them?

I have managed a diabetic patient once and an aged one but at a point, he was weaned off drugs gradually but completely due to the food I prepare for him.

It's the eye problem that is the issue but the diabetics can be controlled.
There are things around u that can help speed up her healing if she eats them. E.g.,
Make more of afang soup. Glad I which is the main vegetable controls diabetics. This soup was the major food I used. It regulates blood sugar very very well.

If u can, cook with Turkey lap(u will get that in frozen food shops). Healthier than all the meat and fish we have in Nigerian market. Skinless is the best.

I also discovered that there is garri for diabetic patients. White and almost without starch.
If she takes milk,go for dano slim.
Do u know what is called utazi leave?
U can use that and make small sauce for Irish potato.

All these should be part of her lifestyle.

Imagine how old OP will be, since his mother is 47yrs.
Please nairalanders, noone has enof and we all still want more and have several needs which is ok, i in particular wish i had enof to just help out. But can we just dare to be a miracle in OP's life, can we try to care a little to lift some burden off him and give him a reason to pay this forward. We don't want more depressed persons anymor.

Whoa! Approximately one million for a procedure, that's a lot. Surely there are cheaper options that are yet to be explored. NAF hospital is a very short distance to GRA, it shouldn't be too tasking to take her there. I pray she gets healed

How is her body nw.. from the previous thread. I taugh she is in a stable condition.. has her healt generate like that..

She was latter admitted in LASUTH for more than 2weeks after that, she was discharged to go home and go for dialysis from home.

She was also given a letter to go and see a naphrologist. We met the naphro today and he said my mum blood is very low, she also need 2 or 3 sessions of dialysis to be fit again. But we couldn't go back to Clinix where the first dialysis was run cus of money now she has refuse to eat, she's very weak, I carry her around now.

She is a Local Government Staff in Edo state. Still in service.
Though I have gotten some financial help here before for her medical bills and to buy drugs

Good people of nairaland, please I'm here to appeal for a financial assistance from you all for the treatment of my mother.

She was diagnosed of Chronic kidney disease some months ago, all this while she has been going for dialysis. I was told that the final solution to this is to go for a kidney transplant. From what we where told, the transplant will cost around twelve million Naira (N12,000,000). I have spent all I have on dialysis. To those whom have supported us may God Almighty continue to bless you all Amen also from my mother's office she was assisted with the sum of two hundred thousand naira (N200,000). I'm equally paying for injections and drugs which are quiet expensive.

I'm appealing to you all to kindly assist my mother with any amount of money. One thousand naira from twelve thousand people is twelve million naira. That's to say your 1k can save the life of my mother. Please help a brother. My Mother have me alone for survival. She have closed her pension fund for this same sickness though it started 3years ago.
