Now that the average PVC collection is 75% and above and the card readers are confirm ok, can we now be rest assurred that election will hold on March 28 and April 11 as earlier reschelduled, considering the fact that the Military is certain to secure the NE before the date?

Continue deceiving yourself and your paymaster. GEJ cannot win the MB. Let me break down the middle belt for you and the result.

Niger: GMB 70%
Kwara: GMB 60%
Nassarawa: GMB 60%
Benue: GEJ 60%
Plateau: GEJ 55%
Kogi: GMB 55%

Final result for the North Central zone (middle belt)

GMB 60%
GEJ 40%
GEJ got less than 20% in Niger State in the last election. I do not expect a better result this time around.

Ted Childers:
Might I suggest to President Johnathan that hanging one general officer a week for corruption (stealing the troop's pay, etc.) might do wonders for the military effectiveness of his army and solve his problem post haste.
You fall ma hand, Ted! Stealing ain't corruption to Jonathan. cheesy

Michael Markovitch:
No. Nigeria's army would be able to do the job, if it were not for corruption. Hopefully Nigeria will get a new President in the next election. Having "Goodluck" around certainly hasn't been good luck for Nigeria.
Another APC member, I guess.
Kevin Finch:
As our "friend", what exactly does he do? Sorry, Toughluckcheesy Jonathan. If your able-bodied young men aren't willing to take up arms to fight this small rag tag group, I see no reason why kids from Iowa and Texas should die instead. At least the Kurds and some Iraqis are willing to try to take the lead on their ground fighting, and ISIS appears far more formidable and well armed than Boko Haram
Let everyone who is able and willing join the Army, but no they wont allow it. We don't even know where the military budget is going.
Joan Newcomb:
Goodluck Jonathan..he has good luck, alright...where does 10% of Nigeria's oil production go? For how many years has 10% of production been stolen? Now they want American politicians to take the earnings of the U.S. populace and funnel it to a seated mafia?
This Americans have better knowledge of this government than most PDP agents on here.

Inspite of the challenges faced by this administration coupled with the gang- up by those political elites, this administration has been able to make good impression. Stop condeming Jonathan for nothing.
I've been to the 36 states of this country and FCT within the last 12 months. May be you can tell me what's fantastic about your PDP states that the APC states do not beat. 3. Kano to Maiduguri

7. Okene new express road

Leave the blind ignoramous electorate.

We heard it that election would be posponed, he did.

We heard jega would be sacked.... it is already in the pipe line...

If Jega is sacked, another Inec Chairman can not conduct election immediately.

So if we have reason to set up Coalition Government, How will Obasanjo Benefit from it.

How Obasanjo Ochestrated all these to remain in power still beat my imagination but why people don't think before taking abati's words gullibly beats my imagination the more.

Abati is simply a f00l for just submitting what Okupe gave him ...
There are just two categories of people who support Jonathan: those who knows the truth about this government but can't say because they are beneficiaries and; the blind bigots and ignorant ones who have benefitted next to nothing. 95% of them belong to the latter group. They are like robots...they can not be reasoned with. To them, an asininity becomes a profundity because Jonathan or any of his aides uttered it.
Lai Mohammed has been shouting since last year about how this wants to use security issue as an excuse not to hold elections. What do we have now? I dey laugh. Most, if not all, of the various allegations against this government are true and reliable (once you winnow out the chaff).
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Plots To Head Interim National Govt - Presidency by EnigmAries(m): 10:52am On Feb 15, 2015
Chief Obasanjo’s plot with others within and outside the country to thwart the general elections and foist an unconstitutional Interim National Government, which he hopes to head on the nation is well known to us
Threats from Niger-Deltan Militants to plung the country in chaos if Jonathan is re-elected, the blackmail of INEC into postponing the election by the Security Chiefs, the attacks on the person of GMB, the anti-christian speeches by Sambo, and the calls by some people like E. Clark for the removal of the INEC Boss are capable of thwarting the electoral process. I do not know how Obj plotted all these. If the Presidency doesn't desist from hatching that evil plan, then I do not see why Obj will not head the interim government, because all their actions are leading Nigeria into an era of great darkness.

For those of you who thinks Obj was just ranting, I fear for your life, coz GEJ is actually planning to pull that stunt as accused by the Former President.
There's nothing malicious in it and you shall all see it as they play it out.

...bear with me... I'll soon handover on May 29 and your trials will be over/ I'll do better in my second term?
Your state of mind before you sleep led to this dream.
If you were honest with yourself, you would've told us you've started having a change of mind, hence this dream. Your brain simple reflected what has been running through your mind, in the dream. No big deal.

I also dreamt late last year that someone from the around Kano/Katsina state will win this year's presidential election...and he will be the last Nigerian President. Some parts of the North will go first and there will be uncertainty as to whether his Hometown is still a part of Nigeria, while he's still the President and the rest is history.

I wasn't even thinking about a Buhari or the collapse of Nigeria at this time.
I already dreamt of Buhari becoming the President right before last election. Jonathan was not supposed to be the president in the first place, hence the hardships and bloodsheds.
It's time for Buhari and 1000 Jonathans can not stop him. It is sealed in Heaven.

PoliticsRe: Corruption: Two Unmarried Men Sleeping Together - President Jonathan by EnigmAries(m): 1:13pm On Feb 13, 2015
kaboninc:
I've just repented...

1. Can you provide links or proofs to your claim that:
I don't know where you were when our military was baring the police, when the National Assembly ordered for the re-arrest of the thief. If you don't know the Army was deployed to his house in Abuja to prevent his arrest, then I can't help.

2. Can you also prove that GEJ was endorsing the 'alleged' theft by Jim Nwobodo? More so, suppose you child or friend stole from you, do you sentence him to 1000 years in prison? What if you happen to steal (YES its possible), would you like to be sentenced to 200 years in prison?
What was the intention of the President when he made that statement, if not endorsing the act? I bet, if Nwobodo had stolen that sum in China, his family would've been the one to buy the bullets for his execution, no story! If I had cut a finger of my child who stole a piece of meat from the pot, why should I ask the other one who stole N2500 to pay back N7.50k or get whooped 14 times? What ever happened to equality. I'm not building a home if I ever do that, but rather encouraging the smaller thief to steal big next time. It doesn't add up. And no, I wouldn't to be sentenced to 200 prison for stealing money belonging to people who have worked all their lives for this country, neither would I like to go to jail for stealing the money meant to ensure that the masses have access to proper healthcare, standard education or motorable roads, but instead, I should be summarily executed if found guilty. A thief's life or freedom is not worth the innocent blood they shed by their actions. My point is, pen robbers- just like armed robbers- deserve to die and anyone found guilty- no matter how highly place- should thank his/her stars if given a long jail term instead of execution.
3. Can you provide evidence that:
Isn't it obvious? How many public office thieves has the EFCC tried so far in this government?

4. I have told you why big thieves get away with stealing.
Your reason isn't good enough. Equality before the law is what I know. If it's possible elsewhere, it should be possible here too. That's why we want someone who has the will, not Jonathan.
Then again, it was in an APC controlled state that a COMMON THIEF was sentenced to jail for stealing a MOBILE PHONE!
If you steal my phone, I'll make sure you go to jail. What does the law say about it or do you want the state government to make him a commissioner for Telecommunication, for stealing someone's phone? I know of a government that is capable of that.

Then I asked:

I do not know how informed you are. But if you are, you should be aware of the criminal cases in the Banking Industry and the difficulties encountered in prosecuting subsidy thieves. Have you asked yourself why AMCON is succeeding in its drive for debt recovery?

Lets remove sentiments and political affiliations aside. Lets discuss on the best way to tackle corruption.
Jonathan is not putting any structure in place to curb corruption. His posture and body language encourages it. If you catch a thief, punish him/her publicly- punish one, teach a hundred. The best way to tackle corruption is simple. Let's go the China way. People would prefer to go to jail for few years or pay fines and continue to enjoy their loot than dying. We need to instill the fear of corruption in people. Downplaying it all in the name of campaigning will not help.
PoliticsRe: Corruption: Two Unmarried Men Sleeping Together - President Jonathan by EnigmAries(m): 8:33am On Feb 13, 2015
kaboninc:
Why they get away from stealing N25 billion is very simple. its because they have the money to employ the services of a lawyer who can negotiate their terms of release. These lawyers go into a plea-bargain and the prosecuting counsel has no choice that to agree. Now why do they have to? Simple! Because government's resources are limited. But these thieves have enough money to stall cases that can last a life time.

So how do you solve such a problem? Why don't you put in systems in place to check mate these excesses? Why don't you put in processes that will block these loop holes? Why don't you refine the system such that there will be different levels of verification?

That's the focus of GEJ. And its working! Am sure you do believe that prevention is better than cure.
Bullcrap!!! Is it the same GEJ who prevented the Pension thief from re-arrest? Is it GEJ that sees nothing wrong in Jim Nwobodo stealing from public fund? How many bills has he sent to the NA to ensure the checkmating the excesses, blocking loopholes and refining the system? Even the anti-graft agencies we have, have become lame ducks under him and limited to chasing people that steal to eat. If after 5years, big thieves are being protected while someone who stole a fowl not worth more than N1500 is being sentenced to death, then he is incapable to do the right thing. I'd like to see a Nigeria where people who steal fund are made to repay to the last kobo-with interest- then spend a very long time in jail, but what we see now is a president granting pardon to convicted thieves. I actually like the Buhari/China style of punishment.

KwoiZabo:
Neither as GEJ say stealing is good. what he is saying is that a thief should be called a thief and not corrupt. corrupt is a decorated way of addressing a thief.
Whatever his motive behind such statement, however stealing public funds is a form of corruption. You can not steal from government without getting into corrupt practices. That is why you see count charges involving corrupt practices against "thiefing" public officers. This different from stealing bread or fowl.
I found it funny when I heard a court sentenced a fowl thief to death just late last year and we have someone found guilty of of stealing N25 billion walking free.

KwoiZabo:
Why did London court call Ibori a common Thief instead of corrupt.
And they also told you common thieves are not corrupt? There's no way you're going to exonerate a public officer holder, who used his position to steal public fund of corruption. No way!
PoliticsRe: Corruption: Two Unmarried Men Sleeping Together - President Jonathan by EnigmAries(m): 1:26pm On Feb 12, 2015
According to section 2 of I.C.P.C Act (2000), corruption simply connotes impropriety and encompasses all forms of reprehensible, indecorous and infamous conduct in the performance of some official and non – officials responsibilities. This means any act, which go out of any normal societal behaviour.
Political corruption is the use of powers by government officials for illegitimate private gain. An illegal act by an officeholder constitutes political corruption only if the act is directly related to their official duties, is done under color of law or involves trading in influence.
Forms of corruption vary, but include bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, graft, and embezzlement.
I still don't know how Jonathan is going to convince me that using public office to steal for private gains, is not corruption.

I have not heard people expressing their support for this government in 2 years, except on Radio, Tv and social media.
