But that is just cold realpolitik at work - these countries are concerned about one thing and one thing only: the promotion and preservation of their interests. These ambassadors will visit a frog or a hyena as long as the interests of their countries are being served.

The question for us (who actually live here) is whether our interests are being served by the candidacy of Mr. Tinubu - and the answer is "NO".

Even if foreign diplomats visit all the presidential candidates it is still strange to boast about these visits. What is there to brag about? It doesn't make any sense. These are not bilateral talks where some trade deal beneficial to Nigeria is being discussed publicly.
