PoliticsRe: Buhari Said Fuel Subsidy Is A Scam Yet He Pays $1.4 Trillion On Subsidy - Omokri by enlady(f): 4:39am On Apr 07, 2018
Your write up did not address the issue. Can you contest the facts stated by Reno?
omohayek:
Why is it that an imbe.cile like Reno OMockery constantly gets headline articles, but when some like Reuben Abati has intelligent things to say, he gets no attention at all? Of course, I'm merely making a rhetorical question, as I already know the answer: because most Nigerians are simply not bright enough to appreciate a well-reasoned argument devoid of appeals to tribal or religious sentiments.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Did Not Pay Subsidy - Get Your Fact Right! by enlady(f): 12:32am On Apr 07, 2018
If PMB has compassion, by now he will realise that Nigerians have not recovered from the hardship brought about by increase in pump price of petrol. The inflation it triggered is still biting hard.
Fuel price was increased with out any palliatives for Nigerians. I blame the masses though, we were all in zombie mode then angry
PoliticsRe: Buhari Did Not Pay Subsidy - Get Your Fact Right! by enlady(f):
Nigeria currently incurs over N1.4 trillion yearly as under-recovery or losses on the importation and sale of petrol, minister of Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, said yesterday.

The amount announced by the minister is more than the average N1 trillion appropriated and spent yearly as subsidy payments from 2006 to 2016 when the subsidy scheme was administered

https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/nigeria-incurs-n1-4tr-under-recovery-on-petrol-yearly-kachikwu.html

Can you see we are even paying more for subsidy now despite the increase in fuel pump prices for the masses. We are paying more for subsidy now than during the so-called corrupt past government. Where is the change? This government is a fraud!
PoliticsRe: Buhari Did Not Pay Subsidy - Get Your Fact Right! by enlady(f): 12:21am On Apr 07, 2018
You are funny and deceptive op. What Buhari is doing is wrong. When will we change in this country?
We are back to subsidy. Tell your under recovery to illiterates. To make it more dangerous, there is no appropriation for this 1plus trillion. How can you allow NNPC (headquarters of corruption) to spend funds without budgeting for it? With people like Abba Kyari on NNPC board? Stop this nonsense. If you really love this govt, learn to criticise them when they are going wrong.

None of these PMB die hards are patriots. They don't condemn evil

This AGF Malami is indicted in every scandal of the present regime. Can we now see why the Transparency index is justified? Grand corruption is still very much alive in this govt.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Incurs N1.4tr Under-recovery On Petrol Yearly – Kachikwu by enlady(f): 7:49am On Apr 06, 2018
Also deceptive by renaming subsidy to underecovery
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Incurs N1.4tr Under-recovery On Petrol Yearly – Kachikwu by enlady(f): 7:48am On Apr 06, 2018
Did anyone read this portion?
The amount announced by the minister is more than the average N1 trillion appropriated and spent yearly as subsidy payments from 2006 to 2016 when the subsidy scheme was administered

This government is a fraud angry
How can we pay more for subsidy when with the higher pump price borne by the masses?
PoliticsRe: Buhari Completes 12 Stations Of The Abuja Light Rail Project (Pictures) by enlady(f): 3:29pm On Apr 05, 2018
You nailed it. Thank you
Abagworo:
That's a fact. Yar'Adua destroyed a laid down map to recovery clearly started by Obasanjo and in addition gave us Boko Haram before his death. Jonathan inherited a Government without direction and tried his best under a power blackmail which explains his inability to take tough decisions. Buhari unfortunately came in at the worst time for oil dependent economies which made his government work more in controlling the inherent recession for 2 whole years. Buhari is trying to refocus Nigeria towards a new direction but just like Jonathan he seems to be in a power blackmail and unable to take tough decisions. To change a country like Nigeria you must be tough and selfless or you end up repeating same mistakes by your predecessors.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Completes 12 Stations Of The Abuja Light Rail Project (Pictures) by enlady(f): 2:49pm On Apr 05, 2018
If you follow the polity, you'll observe that Yaradua was the chief project "abandoner". He stalled the NIPP projects in the name of probe, the railway projects and privatisation of moribund refineries. It was Jonathan that restarted the NIPP projects and railway projects. Investigate this are facts!

Chetimah:
but he as finished ithuh? Not like other people on the other side that do abandon other people projects...let us be grateful at time's, alot of people are not grateful to their parents for the sacrifices they make on them dey will stil complain that my dad did not do dis my frd dad get him or her a car, even dat parents strive to get the child a car,the child will still complain dat the car is not a brand-new.why would such people not complain about BUHARI government, cos they are born to complain.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Completes 12 Stations Of The Abuja Light Rail Project (Pictures) by enlady(f): 10:56am On Apr 05, 2018
This is my problem with PMB supporters. How can you call a rail project fraudulent for God's sake? It was ongoing as at handover and continued by the present administration. If there is no merit in the project why did PMB continue it?
Printerscanner:
Useless wailers expect Buhari to abandon all GEJ fraudulent projects the way they have been doing over the years. However, Buhari knows that it is better to complete all ongoing projects before starting another.
PoliticsRe: Murray-Bruce: "Buhari Can’t Spend $1bn On Arms Procurement Until NASS Approves" by enlady(f): 10:49am On Apr 05, 2018
I don't consider this politics. We should demand for transparency from government. There is nothing wrong with the 1bn USD request if it follows due process. Let the request and details of how funds will be expended be sent to national assembly for due appropriation.

olahero:
I hope this Nigga has refunded the MONEY he borrowed during the GEJ tenure?
#11,000,000,000?

Thief, they don't want PMB to achieve anything especially on Security matter to campaign against him.

Bunch of Looters.

We need transparency in govt. If the $1bn expenditure is justified why not send it to the national assembly for due appropriation?

PoliticsRe: Herdsmen/farmer's Clashes: PMB Orders Assessment Of Damage In Benue, Others by enlady(f): 7:45am On Apr 04, 2018
The killings have to stop first. How do you rebuild communities where herdsmen have displaced the locals and taken over the land? In some parts of Plateau the herdsmen have taken over entire communities, sent away the locals and built new homes. Will the govt allocate new lands elsewhere to the original inhabitants? The truth is this whole thing is systemic ethnic cleansing.

PoliticsRe: How SSS Released Hussaini Maitangaran, Boko Haram Kingpin Who Coordinated Kano M by enlady(f): 4:33am On Apr 03, 2018
This worrisome. Come to think of it, we can hardly mention any of this arrested Boko haram terrorists that have been slammed with a serious sentence like death by hanging. Its like we keep them in prison for use during negotiations. These guys should be tried speedily and sentence carried out immediately. They have destroyed the fabric of society in the North-east, yet we keep them pampering them.
Something is wrong with Nigeria

PoliticsRe: 2019: Crowd Of Youths March For Ambode’s Re-Election (Photo) by enlady(f): 10:53pm On Apr 01, 2018
I don't agree with this logic. If Lagosians feel Ambode is not good enough simply try opposition candidates. After all the opposition candidates are also yoruba. Its senseless ego that's the issue here
omohayek:
Ambode has certainly done some worthwhile things, but there are plenty of other things he's done which have shown dubious judgement on his part, from the Visionscape garbage-collection fiasco, to the ill-judged tax increases he's now had to partially retract, to his emulation of Fashola's poor example in refusing to fully comply with FOI legislation by releasing the details of what exactly his administration is doing with the taxes it collects. The tragedy for governance in Lagos is that due to the inevitable tribal angle that the APC vs. PDP contest will take - with people from the other side of the Niger expected to throw 90% of their vote to the PDP as they usually do, and Yoruba voters reacting defensively to such block-voting by supporting Ambode - I expect him to be re-elected in a landslide without being subjected to even the slightest scrutiny.

Had everyone been content to regard themselves as individual residents of Lagos, this scenario could have been avoided, but all the ethnic collectivism and loose talk of "No man's land" and "We developed Lagos" has poisoned the state's politics to the detriment of all its residents - and has also guaranteed that no non-Yoruba will ever stand a chance of getting close to the governorship under a democratic disposition. What then has been achieved by all the ethnic agitation from certain quarters which only served to put Yorubas on collective edge?

Brilliant comment. Gov Shettima's action was deliberate.
joudini:
Does this clown remember that Gov Shettima (the APC gov of Borno) maliciously refused to inform GEJ about the kidnap and that GEJ had to know of the alleged kidnap through security intelligence outside the official laid down channels?

The obvious question is this: If a governor in whose state a kidnap has occured, refuses to inform you his superior officer, are you supposed to proceed without conducting your due diligence?

Who are the handlers of this clown?
