tpia@:where in her post did she abuse pastors?? chill na. haba! |
DrBaby: I was brought up in deeperlife since age 4 till two yrs ago wen I left d country. No matter wat anyone says, pastor kumuyi remains d greatest blessin to my life. Sometimes I look back wen I am prayn to God n I always thank him for bringn me up in dt church. Sometimes I cry cos I miss my pastor so much...I miss him as a father in my life...he taught mw every tin I knw...principles of success (I ws d best grad doc in my sch)...he tot me abt holiness (my boyfriend too ad a deeper life background) so chastity n holiness was easy for us..we stl say it to date dt our upbringing in dt church is one single most important common factor dt hs helped us stay strong....pastor kumuyi tot me to b very conservative n to stand out frm d crowd...I love him so much.Gbam! u spoke the truth my bro. i was also brought up in deeper life right from age 6. left the church after i got married coz i married a non-deeper life. i wore a nice and modest gown for my wedding which was attended by a lot of deeper life pastors and members. and i told my mum exactly the same thing. i told her am not forcing anybody to come for my wedding and so anybody that comes should be satisfied with everything that happens there. i missed the church so much and i still find time to attend services there once in a while. like u said, no one is forced to do these things. the problem i have with so many people is dat they do most of what they do with no conviction whether they're doing the right thing or not. and most times when they are asked y they do what they do, they find it difficult to explain because they don't really know y. they simply do those things. i remembered in my higher institution then, we were forced as sisters to always tie our scarf 24/7 even when u're going to the toilet. ask me y then, i dnt knw. i visited a couple last week sat. the wife was a deeper life member married to a guy in baptist. she told me on their wedding which i couldn't attend, her mum, right in the presence of people removed her wedding cake from the cake stand in the reception arena claiming it was worldly. i watched the wedding video clip and i couldn't help but wonder. |

Billyonaire: Although there are no doubts that your friend encountered light energy beings on Astral Plane, what happened is that she met energy beings who share her common belief system before they passed on. As she advanced beyond the astral plane to higher frequency dimensions of existence, she will come to realize that she was just fed with the information she merited at that time. Human beings only receive communication from the higher energy beings based on their belief, as a means to climb the ladder into the higher level of knowledge. There is no confirmation what-so-ever that the person she met was Jesus, cos there are many cons out there than even on physical plane. In the end, all humans will realize that the quest for heaven is useless, cos its boring out there and we came here to learn the science of creation. I keep wondering why people wanna go to heaven, when physical plane offers more lessons that human souls need in the journey to co-creation with the Infinite Oneness.Like seriousLy ? |

I know we have people who sell fuel outside filling stations popularly called black markets in most if not all states of the federation. Most often it is being done discreetly at least that's what i thought but in Kogi state especially Lokoja, d reverse is the case o. I moved to Lokoja from Lag abt a year ago and one of the first thing i noticed was this black market issue. The astonishing thing is the thing is displayed like normal wears for sale by the road side. On my way to work one day, within a short distance, without exaggerating, i counted not less than fifteen sale points. I was really amazed. Most often without fuel scarcity in the country, there won't be fuel anywhere in the city of Lokoja even when its surplus in d next town (okene) except you buy from black marketers at exorbitant prices and u begin to wonder where they got their own fuel from. Then i begin to ask myself is it that Kogi state government is not seeing this or they decided to turn a blind eye to it. Or rather is it the same everywhere? |
Chokolee: 1.Always wanting to claim a right on the road,*bad habit!*Hubby is so so guilty of this. Its beta to let anoda person av ur right dan land in d hospital. To my hubby, every other driver on d road is too slow. He must overtake every other driver on d road. na wit prayer i dey always follow him drive |
My husband is a geologist. He is in need of a job. Anyone in the house with an offer should assist please. Thank you |
Am in Lokoja o. Its so true! Just confirmed from my inlaws there as soon as i got d broadcast on BBM. Pls pray for us o. |
I was reading anoda thread wen i saw this thread. And i haven't done any other thing on my BB since i started reading the thread. I have been laughing so hard for almost 24hrs that av been on it now. For d farting thing, i think am d guilty one. But the thing started after i gave birth †o my first baby just this year April. The funny thing my baby's own is worse n smells like rotten egg. People said its because he's going to be fat n my hubby said he learnt d habit from me. Don't know how a three month old baby will pick up an habit from d mum o ![]() As for my hubby, he makes noise wit his bum anytime he's using d toilet. And it is an everyday affair. He doesn't go to work without first using d toilet in d morning. Says its an healthy habit n i agree but i always ask him must u make noise wit ur bum while doing the thing ![]() He's highly domesticated n helps a lot around d house. If i'm tired or not feeling well, he'l insist on doing d cooking. But when i get to d kitchen, i'l prefer if i had done d cooking maself coz he'l make use of every single plates n spoon in d kitchen. There will be oil n water everywhere. The cooker will be covered wit oil n water or wateva is it he cooked. I'l spend hours cleaning up d place. Hubby is too gentle to a fault n people so take advantage of this even his mech. He will do "sir" for everyone. There was a time he took his car to d mech for repairs. He came back without d boot mat n when i asked him, he said d guy said he can't find it. And am like so wat happens n he said there is nothing he can do abt it. His trafficator light cover was also broken while they were repairing his car one day, he paid them in full for d repairs n went ahead n got d thing fixed himself. Up till now one of the new foot mat we bought for d car is no where to be found courtesy of d mech ![]() I have taken it upon myself to be standing n fighting for him when need be. Coz am always annoyed at d way people take advantage of his gentle nature. Wen we have misunderstandings, he kips quiet. Am always the one to raise the issue for discussion. This troubles me a lot emotionally. And am not so strong in dat aspect. Above all, he's a great guy. Will neva trade him for someone else. Our marriage will be 1year tomoro. And av enjoyed this past one year tremendously. |
I grind my teeth a lot but i do it unconsciously. I only stop when people turn to and stare, then i realise am doing it again. I play with my pubic hair while lying on d bed. Just luv d feeling. I chew my tongue also unconsciously. I actually had an argument with my hubby over this until d day he caught me doing it n drew my attention to it. I hate having visitors especially those who turns up without prior information. Makes me uncomfortable and angry. Too organised to a fault. Very impatient with slow learners. Don't know if that is a bad habit. I also peel my lips coz i get dried lips a lot. |
Am a glo subscriber too and am not happy as well but since its not a usual occurence and they've apologised, we can let go na. Human being self dey break down once in a while |
Nice one. Helpful too. |
Am a graduate of accounting from federal polytechic Ado-ekiti. Its true we do a lot of accounting courses in school. I graduated 2004. While in school, some of our lecturers then were also contract lectures in the then University of Ado. And i can remember they always tells us in class that we do better than our counterparts in UNAD. Well like someone has pointed out, the difference is in individuals. Its just frustrating the way HND graduates are being treated in Nigeria labour market. After my youth service, i got a job in access bank as a contract staff. The experience wasn't a nice one at all. |
It is true that you don't judge people until u're in their shoes and experience what they're going thru. Before now, when i see civil servants who don't put in their best into d job they are doing, i complain about them. Just got married last year, and my hubby happens to be a civil servant with STEB. I work in a private org with a regular pay date. But for him, it is when ever they see the salary. For instance, salary for june is yet to be paid and while speaking to a family friend who happens to work in finance as per when they will be paid, he said the allocation that came is not enough and as such, some ministries will be paid first while the others will have to wait. It's always one story after the other every month. My hubby had to get something doing alongside with the job. And of course his attention will be divided. But can you blame him? He has a family to take care of. This is what so many civil servants go thru. Not like am in support of laziness or lackadaisical attitude to work but the truth is i don't blame these people anymore. They need to keep body n soul 2geda. Or what do you guys think? |
ifyalways: Argh woman, wake up.please buy, prepare and place within his reach and eye radius more spicy and tasty pieces of meat. Let him eat as much as his itchy fingers can BUT while he's busy @ your kitchen "stealing" your meat, jejely move yourself to the bedroom and go deal with his wallets and atms. Itchy fingers V itchy fingers.I wish this works for my hubby buh it doesn't. Even after frying d fish n putting it inside d freezer not fridge o, my hubby will eat it. I'll get there only to discover the thing has finished. He'll eat it like dat frozen n all. If i confront him, he'll jocularly tell me he thot it was crackers. Can u imagine! I got fed up after a while n let him be. |
Kezbaba: Grinding st :-Xone makes stew tastier due to natural mineral embedded in it which also fortified d nutrient in our stew though its stressful make, but for health reason its d best to be consumeStory. Sufferhead |
Got this from a monthly newsletter FG to resume fuel subsidy payments next month The Federal Government will from July 2012 resume subsidy payments to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and private importers of petroleum products. The suspension was enacted to enable the Committee set up by the government conclude the verifications of claims and payments made to petroleum importers. |
Softmojo: Abeegi enough lies.. is it possible for one to strangle his/herself to death. (its impossible u let go when u are tired). Its better to even say he hanged himself.Exactly my thought when i read d story. U can hang, poison or shoot urself. Buh strangling...... Someone shld please xplain how possible. |
Gilbertman: I am really sad to read of this devastating news.Though,we all owe the death debt and we do not know when, how or what will the preceeding events be,still it's heart-rending to hear of this kind of occurence and calamity.May God help and protect Nigeria.May God give us all and the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss and learned to thank the Lord for each seconds we are allow breath! One could not be 'fate' wise as to know when death will come knocking.....hence no one, repeat no one could dodge death.A whole family not going on one trip or a whole family staying at home or a whole family not travelling in one vehicle,is not a topic to derail on today, for we all know that, no matter what, when it is time , it is time.Just reminisce on the so many disasters that has brought Nigeria to a stand still in the past! The "Omiyale" flood for example, a good number of whole(nuclear and extended) family were at their shops in 'Ogunpa' and they were just wiped out!! What would you have asked the Father or the Mother or the grand dad/mum to do back then?? Not to let all the member come to the store same time or be traders in the same mall? Let's be sad with those who are sad please and let's pray more for our Country. There are thousands of ways daily to die that we face, it has been by God's mercy and timing that our turn to succumb has not come.Let's try to live life the best and godliest we can, with the hope that when death do come, we will go fulfill and hope that the life after will be more peaceful and sadness free unlike this one that we are in now.We should also pray that God,the creator may divinely intervene in the matters of Nigeria and Nigerians, so much that all corrections should be made to everything crooked that directly or indirectly initiated the chain of events that led to this kind of(possibly or otherwise preventable) mass death. The most sensible post av seen on this tread so far. God bless u Gilbertman. When i heard the news yest, d first tin dat came to my mind was where are all these people now? Heaven or hell? This is what i want everyone viewing this tread to think about. Where will u spend eternity? For those dat died in d crash, there is no repentance in d grave. But we dat are still alive, let us make use of this opportunity to reflect on our life and see if we're on d same page wit God. May d soul of d departed rest in peace. |
akinwaleok: i stay in 2bedroom apartment but not in lagos. I packed in september'11 and paid 25percent of d house rent as tenancy agreement, after spending 6months my landlord is asking of damages fee of 40percent of house rent inwhich we havent damage anything and now ask us to pack out if we cant pay it.Was ȋ̝̊̅†̥ in d tennacy agreement that you were going † pay damages fee? If S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡, U̶̲̥̅̊'re bound by d agreement U̶̲̥̅̊ signed † pay the fee. Buh if not, my dear if am in your shoes, am paying nada. |

pro01: Like seriously ehn, Nigerians are soooo gullible, especially girls. No wonder any pretentious id.i.o.t can deceive his way into their pants with foolish lies before they know what hit them. How anybody can be so DAFT to believe that P-square actually "acquired" a private jet is beyond my conprehension. Does anybody know what 'charter' means? You think owning a private jet is beans? Even their oga Akon doesn't own one.Am not one ☀̤̣̈̇f d haters buh i'l be ur guest in D̶̲̥̅̊ª†̥ most ☀̤̣̈̇f d gullible comment made S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ far on this tread were made by guys. S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ guys are as gullible as well just probably in a different way. Another time jst make ur comment without insult † either tribe, gender or race |
