Awesome. I'll try the apple puree.
Do I boil the apple first?
And should I add his formula to it? Same question goes fo4 the banana (I know I won't have to cook the banana)
I cut the apples, peel off the skin and the seeds inside.
i steam (boil) with very little water for 6 - 8 minutes, and then mash or blend.
you'll notice that the apple is softer after it has been steamed which allows for easy blending.

Don't sieve out the water o after cooking, U use the same water to blend. no need to add extra.

Banana is easy-peasy smiley, just put in a blender and blend. no cooking.

I don't add formula to any of them. My dd loves it like that, maybe cos they are naturally sweet.

Me I no de kukuma pump again as nothing de comot
My own case is even bad
I had started him on Tom brown at 4 months and he liked it. He was taking it well. But all of a sudden the bobo decided he didn't want again, even formula! He's been sticking to breast only! If you see me now you will think I'm doing exclusive because na only breast him go collect.
I'm here thinking of another food to introduce whether he will take it. I tried small avocado and he was doing face as if I feed him poo poo cheesy. Mumsi put small semo in his mouth yesterday and he took it without making a face so I'm thinking of trying it
my dd makes that face whenever i introduce a new food....she carries the face for the first 3 spoons and after that, we are good.
So far, face or no face....she has never rejected any food.

I call it 'initial gra-gra' face grin grin

try apple puree or banana. It's sweet...He should like it.

my son had blood too in his eyeballs .we weren't given anything and before two weeks it cleared.for the jaundice place him near the window where the morning sun would reach him everyday.
For jaundice asides from the early morning sun, u need to feed ur baby every 3hours so that he/she can poop and pee well. This helps the jaundice leave the system.

Jaundice may make ur baby a bit more sleepy, so u have t express when baby is sleeping, and then wake to feed

Hello women in the house. I noticed of late that Brest milk is not sustainable for my baby in the course of the night. She wakes up 10 Times or thereabouts to suck. What food can be given to her at night to sustain her over the night aside aside cereals and pap. Thanks
How old is ur baby?

Long post alert

undecided
Let me add my 2cents

I haven't gone for any interview in a while but I remember being asked some 'family-related' questions in the last interview i went for a few months after my wedding. I found some of them unnecessary, but a HR friend of mine later explained to me that they just want to be sure that you can be able to balance your home affairs (being a newly wed or a mum) without issues affecting your productivity.
They also asked me some questions about why i left my previous places of work which i think is normal (I have been asked that in every interview i have gone for)

My issue with your interview is just the fact that the discussion was with other applicants in the room. It should have been a 1-on-1 between the employers and You.

Cheer up dear, good news will come soon.

How many in the giga pack?

Pele hopefully it will be all good.

If you find it is a bit dodgy, perhaps the solution may be to change a bit more frequently than you usually would.

That is only if its just a matter of leaks and fit oh. Hopefully your baby developing a rash will not be included.
92 pieces in a pack

I try to change at least 3-4 hours, and so far we've never had any.

Thanks ma

Hmmm, let me shook mouth too on this diaper matter, I have been team US pampers since LO was born but when i got to Nigeria, i said let me try out Nigeria Pampers and believe you me, I LOVE ITTTTTTT. Infact, it hold urine more than so call US pampers sef. I wish anywhere i go, i can see Nigeria Pampers to buy but unfortunately our exporting is not really good in Nigeria. I tried out another make of PAMPERS(be like say na ITALY dey make that one) but i was very dissapointed and i mentioned Pampers pant(like EGYPT product)here, OHHH so loving that one too but the wahala there is to remove, you have to tear it. So for now i havent tried moflix but i have it as a gift so i will try it out soon. I also have Huggies Gold that i will try soon.
So my ratings is NIGERIA PAMPERS PAMPERS PAMPERS ANYTIME ANYDAY. It works for me.

BTW, How una dey prepare Onion water ohhh , PLEASE i will like to USEEEEEEE it too grin grin. @Benignas..weety, iomo..ge,rofe..miguwa,enque. Make una helep me
i never use onions water yet o.

NO! do not be worried...
Watch what you eat and take a lot of water, you can also take fruits and vegetables so baby can get it thru Br.eastmilk...

Pls do not be tempted to 'shook' anything inside baby bumbum to help him/her poop.

Pls mamas, I read that babies shouldn't use pillow. At what month can lo start using pillow? Whats the side effect of using pillow made of fiber? Pls those that uses at what month did u start using?

Also I just saw it that babies cereal at 6months shouldn't be given with feeding bottles but plate. I beg make una put mouth
@Zan..yie, @omo..ge2, @enque @Ako...rkor , @fedd...y27, @ahn...ie and wonderful sabi mamas. God bless u all
...
I have this very soft pillow that came with my baby's mobile cot....we started using it at 3 months. it's so soft and light.

On the issue of cereal, I had to start using bowl and spoon when we started cos it's easier for me to wash smiley smiley smiley. Although my mum was initially against it cos she feels that we should keep using feeding bottles, her reason being that my baby will start rejecting bottles. well, so far so good, my baby still takes water and milk in her bottles. She isn't rejecting them like my mum thought.

For me, starting the plate and spoon makes it easier to get used to in the long run (Also i can't seem to wrap my head around feeding solids in a bottle..naaah! undecided)....she can still have her liquids in bottles, but I plan to switch to sip cups pretty soon.

Oshe. I don dey turn sabi mama. The trick is to try and get the nose to flow. You can put a few drops of eucalyptus oil in hot water and sit with LO for the steam to enter her airways. Cover yourselves with a towel. You can also put a few drops on her bib (I couldn't do this cos my pikin dey chop bib now)
Best thing is saline drops. You can make your own (Google) or get from the pharmacy. A drop in each nostril loosens the catarrh

Then you suck it out! lipsrsealed

There's not much you can do about the struggling. I did the saline drops thing when he was sucking. Sometimes I just soaked cotton bud with the solution and put in his nose (not far inside oh) the sucking you have to hold her head. My LO hated the steam bath so I only did it twice but it's very effective

If symptoms persist after a week you may need antibiotics
Osheeeey! SABInus mama! grin

I have silverbird n saline drops at home...
She chews her bib too..

The sucking....chaaiii! I think its time to go and visit My mum so she can help me out lipsrsealed
