Good morning mamas....... hope we are all waddling sexy and those in vigilante team how paroles. Pls mamas I need ur help, I had my TT yesterday and since last night I was feeling very weak and that my hand is paining me so much wat will I do?; and I did scan too but d did not see d sex of my baby. Fear catch me when d doctor said DAT my baby is getting too big oo jst in 19weeks+ (3.43) and I don't eat much oo , abeg sabi mamas put mouth for d matter.

Has your doctor complained about your weight being too small for your pregnancy? if NO, then i don't think you should worry.
But if you still have doubts about it, you can raise the issue at your next appointment.

I have added just 7kg and i'm 34weeks - 3kg in 2nd trimester and 4kg in 3rd trimester. I used to worry when my weight didn't change for the first 23 weeks and my Dr said it happens. Not everyone undergoes the drastic weight gain cos pregnancies differ per person.

As long as you are eating well and have been certified healthy, then i really wouldn't worry. I think it's the other way round (weight loss) that should be a source of concern.

Some pple are adding weight anyhow. I dnt think I have added any weight since this pregnancy o. I was weighing 63 prior to getting pregnant and anytime I go for antenatal my weight has not passed 65kg since a month nw.

Welcome on board, what's your EDD? so u can identify with your teammates (e.g EDD feb 25th means u r in team february)

Feel free to ask any questions u have, and meanwhile you go need exercise small patience when you ask o cos sometimes you may not get immediate answers due to the busy schedule of mamas (you know say to carry belle sef na work)

What is the position of your LO?
when my LO was in footling breech position (feet down and head up), she used to kick my pelvis. it was a very uncomfortable thing and the pain used to feel like an electric shock (i almost jump up in shock whenever it happens). I talked to my dr and he said it's normal cos of her position. Now that she is in transverse lie, it has stopped.

Talk to ur dr at your next ANC, he should able to tell what position ur LO is in based on the position of his/her heartbeat.

But I think it's your LO just doing some acrobatics down there due to excess space

Mamas i have been having this wierd thing going on in my uterus close to my pelvis which i dont understand. Its like my uterus is having a heartbeat abi na pulse sef! I knw for sure its not baby's heartbeat because its slower and its not baby's kick because the timing is kind of regular, and i feel it evn when lo is not on that side. Its bin bothering me and i just hope all is well. Anyone experienced this? Pls help. Sabi mamas abeg

Present ma, am very healthy no complications,just tired but no baby kicks yet, am going to the hospital on Friday for check up and scan to find out the gender of d baby and also its general well being. I hope 17weeks is not too early to find out the baby gender, and is it bad DAT I haven't started feeling d baby kick? Don't want to start panicking...

Sorry dear. You can get a nasal spray, that should help. Also drink a lot of water. Steam inhalation also works

@enque... apply plain shea butter. it works wonder for me. just put it inside your nose. that has always been my remedy for catarrh...

LMP means last menstrual period...its d date ur last menstrual period started. It is also used to calculate EDD too
