I actually use fresh tomatoes to make my banga, n during scarcity of tomatoes I substitute wt sachet tomatoes...
I looove looove banga, but laziness to make am don set in big time.

When you think you spoiled your Banga soup by imitating a friend to add satchet tomatoes to your soup and your husband still licks the plate .
I remember Banga rice sold on wheel barrows in Delta when I spent two months camping with a family that hardly cook cos I was trying some traditional midwife method to try saving a pregnancy. The rice cheap but eh dey sweet.
Happy Sunday yah. I am a good woman so I won't terrorize anyone by posting a picture of my Banga pot that I actually cooked and ate from.

But the symptoms aren't as intense as it was in 1st trimester.

Bodies differ
But we accept all the discomfort with 2 hands plus legs sef

We thank God for blessing our wombs even with all the discomfort that come with being pregnant

The bottle and the part that attaches to my areola are plastic.. . Infact, the whole thing is plastic and it's very very convenient...

1. Manual breast pump z good bt it z tasking kinda,while 4 electric,all u need do z wash ur breast wella,plug d machine,sit on a chair(raise up ur legs even ) n pump away n it z faster too.

2. Nipp.le shield z just sumtin u wear on ur nippl.e to help wit d pain dat comes wit breasfeeding(lyk me wen I gave birth,I used to break out in sweat once it's tym to breastfeed til I got d nip shield). D pain is outta dis world,dnt knw if other mamas experienced it bt I did.

3. 40 wat It's too much ooooo IMO,I was a stay-at-home mom so I didn't use bottles.

4. Hv no idea,pther mamas wil answer u soon. I tink Mitchyy can(not sooo sure though).

My mom taught I n my sisters sumtin n it has really helped us.

Wash ur baby's bottles ursef,u can ask sum1 to carry ur baby bt nt washing his bottle.

Wash ur baby's clothings urself especially b4 dey r 1 year old. U myt think it z hard work bt it isn't. U can soak wit a mild detergent,wen it's tym 4u to bath,u can use just 3mins n wash d clothes out,rinse dem as many tyms as u want( I just put dem under d tap n allow dem rinse out while I tk my bath,by d tym I'm done,d rinsing z already done. Try nt to pile clothes,wash evryday,u can delegate other house chores to ppl. My baby hasn't purged 4rm birth til 2day even during his teething phases. May God help us all

Lol @ quadruplets o, na only 1 she born o, but she did EBF for 1 year. She bought that much cos she had to make sure the nanny never ran out of BM for the baby when she was away at work.
So u are a fear fear of electric like me too? lol

1. Which is better ? Manual or Electric breast pump?? As the 'fear fear' pikin that i am na , the one fear that comes to my mind when I hear electric is 'risk of electric shock' (biko make una no laugh me o)
2. what is a nipp.le shield?? One aunty was trying to coerce me into buying it, but i did'nt even get the explanation of what she said it does. So pls I'd like to know if it's very very essential.
3. Like how many feeding bottles can one buy if she intends to do EBF. A colleague of mine said she bought 40 bottles when she did hers.... Biko, an estimate or average is fine, as i think 40 is plenty na
4. My hospital list includes 'SITZ BATH BOWL', Is there a specific bowl made for sitz bath purpose?? My mama de follow me argue say na normal plastic bowl i suppose buy carry go hospital. So pls, if there is any specific type, where do i buy it in lagos??

Every woman's body is wired differently.....I never had any nausea, vomiting or spitting, or morning sickness from 1st trimester till date. I had slight headaches a few times but that happened when i stress myself.

We all have different pregnancy packages, MS or no MS doesn't make you less of a woman. Regardless of whatever symptoms you have, just find a way to handle it, knowing that it's just for a while and once u put to bed, ur system gets back to normal.

Am sorry to burst in with worries,pls i need sincere answers,those of you that said you dont have morning sickness throughout your pregnancy,do you mean you dont have either nausea,vomiting,spitting,headaches and the likes esp.in first trimester? Thought subsequent pregnancies will be easy but feels the same way as the first and even earlier. Abi all of us no be the same woman?

You'd feel flutters at first, and then actual movements/kicks as your pregnancy progresses.

My beautiful princess success chinonso cat work out today @ 3:20am today,weighting 3.2kg,no tears,arrived at hospital 3:00am,gave birth 3.20am,i asked God for easy delivery,he answerd me,I don't know how I will thank this God..may God make it esay to all the pregnant women in this thread,Britneystacy my wonderful cappo I don born ooo

since ur ANC is on thursday, i think u should just hold on and get from the clinic.
