I have been thinking about this for a while.
Working mothers without help, how are you coping? The Lord is our strength, do what u can and leave the rest for another day. Ration ur chores, so that u don't end up overwhelmed and frustrated.
How was returning back to work?
How do you manage leaving home early and returning late with this Lagos traffic? Luckily for me, My office is just 20-25mins from home and I'm not in any major traffic, so it was a bit easy
Where do you keep baby? I had to keep her in a creche (10mins walk from my office), she was so little and 3 months old. They took proper care of her when I am away at work. Look for a good creche, if that is ur last option.

I just feel baby is too small to be kept in a creche. I do not have my family around neither do I have a help (sceptical about this), and I'm wondering how I would cope when it's time to resume.

Fine woman. Igbo Language can be confusing sometimes, just like we've:
ákwá(cry)
ákwà(clothes)
àkwà(bed)
àkwá(egg)

Mma(good, beauty, fine)
Ọma(good, safe, fine)

Same spelling but different pronunciation(lemme stop before they ban me)

Hunniesuzie if you want to learn Igbo Language, there's a thread for it on culture section
Mama... I raise Beyonce hand for u oo

Hello house, please I need advice.

I went for an evacuation procedure on Monday to remove any remnants of placenta from inside and I was given antibiotics and painkillers. The antibiotics was just to prevent infections from the procedure.

I noticed on the second day of taking the antibiotics that my babies stooling seemed to have increased to like 6 times a day from about three times before I started the antibiotics.

I checked online and sure enough the info there said that antibiotics makes babies have diarrhea.

I stopped the drugs immediately to avoid harming him. So yesterday I started feeling pains on my lower pelvis and I dunno what the cause was. I really hope it isn't an infection due to my stopping the drugs.

Please if anyone has any alternative precautions I can take to prevent infections which does not affect babies I would really appreciate your replies. Thanks.

My baby is less than three weeks old.
y not go back to see a Dr. They can advice better

Good evening mamas. First post alert.

I'm an expectant mom, with about 8weeks to go. I've done majority of my shopping, I'm left with diapers and wipes and co.

So i was doing my research online on diapers and stumbled upon washable diaper clothes, not the old type we used as kids o.

My question now is has anybody here used it? How is it like? Is it really machine friendly? Cos i need it to save diaper cost o. Pls just enlighten me.

Thank you

Mamas, please there's this issue that has been giving me concern. Since I found out my chances of having a VBAC are low because of the mid-line cut I was given during the birth of my LO, I wanted to find out if there are things I can do to conceive for twins when I decide to get preggy because I can't imagine being cut 3 more times when giving birth since I want 4 kids. Your inputs will be appreciated
Is there any history of twins in ur family? Not ur dh o

Morning mamas

My DS has been on admission since monday afternoon for malaria and infection.dere has been slight improvement but he still having high fever intermittently as high as 39.2 degrees. D doctors have taken his blood again for another test . Pls mama want could be wrong? Is dere anything d doctors are missing? Ds is 14month
Has he finished the dosage of whatever medication he was given?

with my DD (she is 14 months too), I notice that whenever she has malaria or infection, the temperature continues till she completes her medication. Immediately we are done with the drugs, it just goes away.
But I always ensure that I keep moping her body with a washcloth and water.

Sorry dear, wish him a quick recovery
