You can still travel to the UK as soon as you get your passport back but you will not be able to pick up your biometric card until they sort out the issue

To be honest with you what UKVI and TLS are doing is disgusting to put it mildly. Separating family applications and bring it back singly is a recipe for disaster. This process nightmarish.
Then sorting out the returned passport at TLS they don’t seem to have a catalog system eg maybe using surnames to arrange all returned passports. so you can imagine why they spend so much time looking for your passport at collection.

The BRP is what they will give you when you get to the UK. The vignettes you will collect now will have a 30 or 90 days validity. So no need to worry

I went to First bank (13 Mediterranean Street, Maitama 904101, Abuja), I was told that I can’t get pta for my student visa because it’s written on the visa that i can work 20hours and because of that they can’t issue PTA to me as I’m permitted to work in Uk, I don’t under stand anymore.

Can someone explain to me better ??

this is the first of its kind. This is very strange. PTA is your right as a traveller if you have a return ticket and a valid visa. These banks are just trying to frustrate Emefiele.

mine they said it have been resolved since 23rd of this month I have not even heard from TLS people

The TLS has a very poor handling processes. There is a need to complain enmass to UKVI. The kind of service rendered by the TLS is appalling. Does not justify the huge charges they are collecting

Exchange rate is not that high. Please go for university with lesser tuition. There are many of them under 1400 pounds or even less.

There are many University doing from 14000 to 12000GBP and some will give some kind of scholarship about 3500 to 5000GBP.

I'm sorry but that's not totally true. Presently, NEVER YOU TOUCH YOUR FUNDS TILL YOU'VE GOTTEN YOUR VISA, or YOU'RE SURE UKVI HAS VERIFIED YOUR ACCT, whichever one is earlier. That is if you love yourself and value all the time and money spent. It happened to me personally, I think it's just chance that made me see it. I got a NSFM 3days after my application, reason was that the bank statement I uploaded wasn't clear and I was asked to reupload another one which I did. Next day, I got the email attached below, obviously in error cos it was intended for the bank, not me. When I replied the email, they apologized and promptly sent it to the bank. Read my story below.

Truth be told they are not supposed to look beyond the 28 days. If they are doing that which is not in line with the rule i dont know.

Use the bank form A. it takes around 5 to 7 days at most but better to save that money

You can equally get FCMB prefunded dollar MasterCard, Gtbank Dollar card and First bank Gold Visa card dollar. No limit on all of these cards

For Prodigy Finance to disburse the funds to the school, you'd need to have arrived on campus to sign the loan agreement. So, no disbursement till you get to the university and there's no way you can get to the school without having received your visa. Hence, the visa application. A friend of mine used Prodigy for Netherlands visa application and he got it. But the UK is different from the Netherlands.

I honestly want to believe it's an error from the ECO and I would have applied for AR but I had to return the funds in my bank account and my passport had exactly 8months to expiration when I applied for my visa. If I had applied for AR, my passport would be less than six months to expiration.However, you can get a letter from the university attesting to the Prodigy Finance loan letter.

I have deferred my admission to January entry and I will get the full funds in my bank account to present to UKVI.

I actually had thesame loan letter and I presented it to them. You can go ahead to apply with an additional letter from the school if that could help or you decide the get the full funds, wait for 28days and apply. I pray everything comes out successful

Eya! I felt your pains. With the look of things the university in question has set out approximately time for international students enrollment and so on. I suggest you deferred your admission to January 2022 if they've intake for January. Obviously, this is best option to avoid unnecessary stress and free from undue pressure. Best wishes.

But after collectng 8000GBP from her? i think you should scan to them the Visa Application document that showed you have paid for visa and the IHS fund.

You took the risk by paying for a house you haven't seen, hopefully your visa comes out before the first one month of that rent runs out, most importantly i hope the whole thing is genuine.

If the visa delays beyond this month then there is no point paying for the second month and you need to communicate this to the landlord

Thank you @justwise I will keep you updated on this as things develops. I don’t have any doubts about the genuineness of the Agent and the landlord and the suitability of the house because I have a relative checked it up properly before payment was made. I will try to negotiate a suspension of rent pending when we are able to collect the key to the apartment.

If they call the bank and the money is no longer there, it's a problem.

The requirements is 28 days before submitting your application. Immediately you biometric is submitted at the VAC you are free to Utilize the money in that account.

I did priority for myself main applicant standards for the 4 dependants. I got a non straightforward mail exactly 5 days after on the 1st of September.
I just got a collection mail this evening 24th sept

You don’t need not to extend your loan since you have already submitted the form UKVI will use the statement as per the date you submit your statement. And you have 30 days cover for that as well.

Should I click no as she is in UK already.
When I clicked on no, it brought down where to fill in her address.

2) will they be traveling with you to the UK.

Should I click no as we well as she is in UK. Or yes as we are going to join her?

Just be honest in your submission. The first one is clear no and you should state her address in the UK.
The second answer will be easier as No. she is already in the UK she won’t be traveling with you and the rest of the family.

Its not true that renting is open for bidding, you paid more because you want to but not because its the standard. Who wouldn't want to get more money if offered?

Ordinarily Letting agents are willing to milk you dry let a lone when you offered them free money

I need an advise urgently here. I have paid for an apartment for me and my family and rent has started to count meanwhile we are still here waiting for the visa and passport. I had thought we would get decision by 10th of September based on priority but now nothing nothing.
What are the options? Can I ask the landlord to suspend the rent counting for now? How do you think that could play out. I am also wary of the losing the apartment I know the kind work done to get the place. The rent has started to count from last week

Yes that how it works in Salford. Choose fly wire portal it will generate an account number and sort code which you will fill on your form A.
Submit Form A to the bank with the Flywire details. The bank know this and you can attach the Salford payment instructions to your Application
