This depends on the bank give it 7 to 10 days but remember you can send proof that you have made the payment to Salford

Sent an email to Pretoria, replied that my application was resolved yesterday and to wait for TLS. Yet tracker shows still at DMC
and TLS has refused to update.

Yes through form A

You will go through the flywire to get the account number and sort code. That sort code is what you will fill into your form A and submit to the bank

Madness of UKVI. Did biometric on the 26th of August and no decision till now. It’s frightening that people on the 13th and 18th of August are still waiting for decision but application on the 9th and 12th of September are already getting decision mail and getting back there passports.

I have been having some difficulties with paying my deposit which is £3500. First Bank is declining my transaction. I was told to open a domiciliary acct. This domiciliary thing is delaying me. I am still searching for a current account holder who's not using it for salary, to stand in as a second referee.

Does anyone here have a similar experience and how did you resolve yours?

You don’t need a dom account to open a form A . Don’t let them deceive you. They are supposed to convert your naira to the dollar at the official rate

i got a non straightforward mail on the 2nd of September and i have been waiting since then. i don tire!

This is false on so many levels. I have 2 Masters degree from the UK. I got a Tier 4 visa for the first masters and did an extension within the UK for my second masters. All I had to do was show proof of academic progression. There was no GAP in my studies and I did not have to come down to Nigeria to re-apply nor was my first degree used to qualify me for my second masters.

Several people on here have also stated that they have 2 masters degree from the UK or going to the UK for another masters despite the first masters obtained in the UK and the GAP, so what are you on about?

Okay then definately i got it all wrong thanks for the correction. I am also about to do my second masters in the UK. i got my first Masters from Salford and when i was issued CAS for this second one they stll refer to my first degree as prove of English language proficiency

Let me clarify this arguement. If you get the first Masters and used it to secure tier 4 visa you can not do another master to prolong your stay you are expected to move on to Tier 2 or do your PhD.
But if your first Masters was Online distance learning it wont count. If the gap between the masters is wide enough it can be allowed if you have job that shows the need for the new Masters. Meanwhile only your first degree can be used to qualify you for the second Masters

Booking PCR tests with testingforall.org has been ok with me so far.

I landed UK on the 12th, got to my apartment by midnight. On the 13th, by 12, i received my day 2 and day 8 kits. I followed the instructions and took the self swab. I returned it immediately by dropping it in a royal mail box around me (it's free, just drop it in and go).

On the 14th, the next day, i received my day 2 result via email.

Update on private accomodation payment via Form A.

I am thankful my landlord accepted that i quarantine in my accommodation without deposit and without payment yet. I only assured him that international transfers through the bank takes time. He agreed with me on that. Meanwhile i escalated my application for private accomodation with Gtbank on the 9th of September before travelling.


Fresh documents were requested from headquarters lagos, i submitted at area 11 Abuja (someone helped me fill the form actually).

To quickly conclude, i have been sent my telex. 44weeks contract of 2672GBP paid via form A for 1.5m approx.

I was rejected application for private accomodation by numerous banks. It came through finally. If you wish to follow this path, you must get all documents ready. Had to forward my signed contracts on request.

Wow! This is nice I will explore this route then because paying for accommodation is a big problem.
Which bank does this for you?
Did they pay directly to your account or to your Landlords account?

He can't use this. It's not the child making the application. Straightforward is better, I am the parent of the child.... So they know the child's parent is the one doing the application. They don't expect an 8 y/o to fill an application form successfully by him/her self.

Don’t forget you will still submit a parental consent letter for the child to fill the form.

Salford would have been sending you mails on a regular basis that explains all this. I know this because I am going to Salford too for September intake.
You can schedule your payment over 5 month

You need to contact your bank card services to profile your dollar card for online transactions I had to do that for my gtbank, Firstbank and FCMB card before they start to work online

This is disheartening if this is what they send after 49 days! They are just using us to catch cruise.
Today I place a call to them the phone kept me on wait for 55min this was at international rates And I was charged additional 68pence all this without getting to speak to anyone. It’s that bad

When a CAS statement is used, the University is notified and so, I do not think the message has any bearing with your application outcome as the University itself is unsure whether your visa has been issued, they only received the normal "CAS has been used notification" hence the reason why they require your confirmation.

Worry less,you can only pray.

Worrisome really! 1 full month without response. What UKVI is doing is definitely not good.

This is the third time I’ll be getting “ Your UK visa application has been issued.” Since aug 31st then September 2nd. The third came in not long ago. I hope collection email drops this week. And school sent me email that BRP card has been delivered to the university

Put your Naira in a bank account and apply with Form A, you will get the official rate and payment will be done directly to the school

People going to Teesside or already at Teeside... abeg which means una take enter... cos most flight to Newcastle have a layover of about 12hrs or more at Heathrow which I feel is too much. Is it advisable to fly to Heathrow and board train to Middlesbrough instead of waiting for 12hrs or more to connect your flight to Newcastle before then entering Middlesbrough or how una take run am.
Abeg people going to Teesside let's connect.

Good day all, I am currently filling my visa application, on my Cas it is stated that the evidence used in obtaining this offer is copy of degree certificate from Xyz University. Please does this mean that I can only submit my degree certificate because that is what is stated on my Cas. Do I still need to upload my transcript and WAEC. Gurus in the house please help me out, people that have gotten visa too, please your input would be appreciated.
