Can you win against PDP when they were in power?
If you could interpret a message well you will understand that my message was not in any way comparing PDP and APC. But if you meant to draw a comparison, I will say APC is worse because we are meant to be progressive. PDP last ruled about 10years ago. If APC is still ruling APC then they are worse.

Una dey expect anything else? Under this APC, you cannot win any case against APC in the court unless the governor has problem with the presidency.

Good day All.
I registered for an MBA about 10 years ago but didn't finish the program.
I want to register as a new student to start all over again. Is that allowed?
What's the process? Is there a particular number of years of grace given for old returning students to resume thier previous programs?
Thanks and Godbless
If you went far in the programme, you can try to see if you can continue first. This will require you visiting the nearest study centre.
To start a fresh, try and check the admission portal https://www.nouonline.nou.edu.ng/ (currently under maintenance).

Nice move. We either learn to be independent or we perish. This will put more pressure on presidents to sit up.

If you enter northern Nigeria, even people that can hardly spell AMERICA correctly wrote "DEATH TO AMERICA" in different locations. These same people have never written death to any of our corrupt leaders for once.

When there is no alternative to being independently successful, we will try more to see how to succeed.

Good day my man,

I was supposed to graduate in 2023, but I couldn’t because I didn’t complete my project on time. In 2024, I finally finished my project and received my result a B. Naturally, I expected my name to be on the graduation list released earlier this month.

To my surprise, my name wasn’t there. When I checked my statement of results on my portal, I found four new outstanding courses that I wasn’t aware of. I’m really confused.

Please, what can I do? Is there any chance my name could be included in the second batch of the graduation list?

Looking forward to your advice.
Thanks
I will need to know your programme as well as the courses you found on the portal as well as their status (C or E).
Sometimes, you may have done their equivalent as it could just be a change in course codes.

When the courses were introduced will determine if your name will be out. The chance is still there for you to graduate without taking those courses provided the above conditions favour you.

HealthRe: Doctors In The House Please Help Me Interpret This Test Result “i’m Scared” by Enskynelson(m): 9:43am On Mar 24, 2025
Here is what Dr. ChatGPT said about those Hight values

A high renal gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) level of 75 and a high total protein level of 91 g/L in a liver function test (LFT) could indicate several possible implications:

1. Elevated GGT (75 U/L)
GGT is an enzyme found in the liver, bile ducts, and kidneys. It is often elevated in conditions affecting the liver, bile ducts, and sometimes the pancreas.

Possible Causes:
Liver Disease: Elevated GGT is commonly associated with hepatobiliary diseases such as fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, cholestasis (bile flow obstruction), or liver inflammation (hepatitis).

Alcohol Consumption: GGT is very sensitive to alcohol intake, even in moderate drinkers.

Drug-Induced Liver Injury: Certain medications (e.g., anticonvulsants, antibiotics, NSAIDs) can raise GGT.

Biliary Obstruction: Conditions such as gallstones, bile duct tumors, or primary biliary cholangitis can elevate GGT.

Metabolic Syndrome: Obesity, diabetes, and high cholesterol can lead to fatty liver disease, raising GGT.

2. High Total Protein (91 g/L)
Normal total protein levels range between 60–80 g/L. A high total protein level suggests an increased concentration of albumin and/or globulins.

Possible Causes:
Chronic Infections or Inflammatory Conditions: Diseases like chronic hepatitis, tuberculosis, or chronic inflammatory diseases (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus) can increase globulins.

Liver Disease: Although liver failure usually decreases total protein levels, early or compensatory liver conditions might show high protein levels.

Dehydration: Can lead to falsely elevated protein levels due to reduced plasma volume.

Multiple Myeloma or Paraproteinemia: Overproduction of immunoglobulins by plasma cells can raise total protein levels.

Potential Interpretation:
If GGT is high with high total protein, it could indicate:

Chronic liver disease or early cirrhosis (increased globulins due to liver dysfunction).

Autoimmune liver disease (e.g., primary biliary cholangitis, autoimmune hepatitis).

Chronic infections or malignancy (e.g., liver cancer, multiple myeloma).

If other LFT parameters (ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin) are also elevated, this may suggest a more serious liver or biliary pathology.

Next Steps:
Check other LFT values (ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin, albumin).

Assess kidney function (creatinine, urea, electrolytes) since high total protein could indicate kidney issues.

Consider imaging (ultrasound, CT, or MRI) to rule out structural liver abnormalities.

Review medical history and medications for potential causes.

Would you like to analyze this further with other lab results?

Good evening Enskynelson
Please, I'm a direct entry student. I started from 300L I'm now in my final semester.
I have written all the courses I'm supposed to write without carry over but the credit our required for me to graduate after this semester is still much that even if I write all my courses including project, the credit unit will not be covered.
I hope there is no issue somewhere?
Should I be worrying?

Thank you
Check your support portal. What is the entry level there? If the entry level is not correct, that is where the problem lies. Login to your student portal nouonline.nou.edu.ng and apply for change of level of entry under the REGISTRY MENU. You can also apply for correction of level of entry on the support portal
Attach necessary qualifications and admission letter and send.

If however your entry level is correct, kindly ignore. But how you have done NOU107 or GST107 as the course is compulsory irrespective of your level of entry.

They'll start voting after debating on it. It is proper to always get your facts right before speaking on any matter.

Eyaaa. Why not ask me how it affects the economy instead?😂
Edited: related that to the government

Decline in Investment – Investors avoid regions with high crime and weak legal enforcement due to the risk of losing their capital. This reduces foreign direct investment (FDI) and local investments.

Reduced Business Confidence – Unstable environments discourage entrepreneurship, as businesses fear theft, extortion, and corruption, making long-term planning difficult.

Loss of Government Revenue – Illegal activities such as tax evasion, smuggling, and corruption reduce government tax collection, limiting funds for infrastructure and public services.

Increased Cost of Doing Business – Companies must spend more on private security, legal disputes, and insurance, increasing operational costs and reducing profitability.

Brain Drain and Workforce Instability – Skilled professionals and laborers migrate to safer environments, leading to a shortage of talent and lower productivity.

Disruption of Supply Chains – Theft, vandalism, and instability in transport networks disrupt the movement of goods and services, affecting trade and economic output.

Poor Infrastructure Development – Lawlessness leads to misallocation of public resources and discourages investment in infrastructure, further hindering economic growth.

Growth of the Informal Economy – In lawless environments, more people engage in unregulated economic activities, reducing tax revenues and limiting worker protections.

Devaluation of Assets – Property and land values decline in unsafe areas, reducing wealth accumulation and economic expansion.

Erosion of Public Trust – When the legal system is weak, people lose confidence in institutions, leading to economic inefficiencies and a lack of cooperation in financial and business transactions.

Overall, lawlessness creates an unpredictable and risky economic climate, stifling growth and development. Would you like a deeper analysis on any of these points?
