I raised a ticket and they said they will appear when facilitation commences but the issue still persists despite that the facilitation has commenced and even some of my colleagues own have appeared.

You keep using the context card to justify the use of a wrong word to describe God or His love and mercies towards .

You've now even added the word "spoil" which is also not in God's character to make matters worse, so you could as well use corrupt, pollute, bribe, rape,.molest, assault, lust, defraud, steal, lie, abuse etc, to also describe God, since you think it's all the about contextual meaning and the wrong word cannot be used in that regard.

But if you can't, it then clearly disproves your attempt to keep using the other part of the song (even if scripturally accurate) to justify the use of the wrong word (not in the character of God) to describe God in the song.

Moreover point of correction, this isn't about giving the song a different meaning, but using the wrong word to describe God's love, mercies, compassion etc., towards His children.

It's men that pamper those they love not God.

The Bible says God chastens those He loves never pamper.

Even Jesus who God Himself called "my BELOVED Son in whom I'm well pleased" wasn't pampered by God but immediately led into the wilderness to fast dry for forty days, to prove the difference between the love of God and that of men. Therefore the idea of using pamper in the context of God's love is outright erroneous.

You can use mercy, grace, compassion, etc but never pampering because it's not in the character of God.

Moreover the Bible implies that those who pamper their children hate them, so it's wrong and unscriptural to use that to describe God's love, mercy or grace towards His children.

You're not in the application portal. From my end after logging in to admission and then continue application, I then select computing faculty, IFT department. Courses then shows up as empty

You're missing the whole point.

This isn't about the body of the song, but the word 'pamper" being used in the same sentence with God, because it doesn't align with the character of God according to the scriptures.

You may need to look up the meaning and synonyms of the word in the dictionary to understand that it isn't synonymous with mercy, compassion, love etc and vice versa.

So the fact remains that "pamper" is the wrong word to depict God in any context because God doesn't do pamper regardless of how it is being dressed.

It's just like trying to justifying the use of lust to depict God in the title of a song because it speaks about God's love for us. It will never work because lust in not in the character of God.

I’m trying to apply for the MSc in Agriculture (Crop Science) at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). I’ve already made the application payment, but while filling the form, I discovered that no Master’s degree programmes are showing under the Faculty of Agriculture.

Each time I select the department, it says:
“There are no programmes in the selected category (Master Degree) in this department. Check other departments, possibly in other faculties.”

I’ve checked other faculties, and their postgraduate programmes are visible.

Is it that the Faculty of Agriculture is not accepting applications at the moment?
Is it that NOUN doesn't offer MSc in Agriculture even when it's listed on its accredited courses?
Could this be a system error?
Has anyone experienced this?
How can I get my application fee refunded if there's no way out?

What does "daddy wey dey pamper" mean in the contest of the song? I think you interpreted that phrase without considering where it was used. You lifted it and just talked about the "pamper"! Here is the song lyrics:

Daddy wey dey pamper in this context means God that doesn't abandon us in spite of our flaws, weaknesses and imperfections. It means God, my Father, who constantly shows me tender love, mercy, and undeserved care.

If the above is not true of the nature of God let me know the area or nature expressed there that contradicts the nature of God.

You are so right. Whenever I sing that song, I had to take out some parts of the lyrics and add in my own cos I like the tune. How can I say, daddy wey dey pamper 'I say something else. I don't say burst my brain? What is that? What does that mean, he bursts my brain night and day. And Christians and pastors sing it, and they don't see it? Sometimes I feel so lonely.

I reluctantly went for a praise program yesterday evening and everyone was dancing crazy, vibing, videoing themselves, entertaining one another, a few lifted up their chairs, took off their wigs, while a popular praise gospel singer "entertained". I tried to concentrate on God, but at some point it was hard cos the lyrics were mostly about self. Oh! It's sad. A congregation of about a thousand people. I feel unhappy sometimes when I see these things.

That's how another "gospel" singer would wake up and sing a song about a "daddy wey dey pamper", yet the song will be trending in churches and among Christians, despite the fact that it doesn't align with the scriptures which teaches us that he that pampers his child hates the child, and that God doesn't pamper but chastens those He loves. Proverbs 13:24, Revelation 3:9, Hebrews 12:6.

The god who pampers his children is not the God of the Bible, but the devil (the god of the world) because he hates them and doesn't want them to change or repent so they'd end up in hell with him.

Therefore beware of the "daddy wey dey pamper"
