My friend ought to have graduated but had issues with his project and now his HOD called him that two courses have been added and so he needs to take the courses before he will be allowed to graduate, reason for the portal registration. Please assist with the url link and steps to do the portal registration so he can proceed to register the courses.

Evidence of exams registration is your exams registration slip- the one with passport on it and all the courses registered.
You are sure you have done your exams registration? And when you say last week, you should have been more specific. If you did on Thursday or Friday, that is just 2 working days.

1. You cannot if you have not done exams reg
2. You cannot if you just did exams reg a while ago. Give it 48-72hrs after.
3. Try to login using last semester password if you are a returning student. If it doesn't go, try the no. 4.
4. Try to login using Matriculation number in lower case as the username and as well as the password

If you haven't logged in this new semester, you have to do portal registration first (go to nouonline.net, click students, click register, fill the form and submit).
If however you have done this before, all you need is login with matriculation number and password.
If you are not sure, you can try to register. If you get the message that you have registered earlier, then proceed to login.

Big question! You know one thing many will say, they are so used to it already that nothing dey happen.
For some that are willing, those things are not always available. Some years back, I got a job (seems na work and not job) as a factory worker in a Chinese Ceramic Company. First day at work, I was shown where I have to work from 7am to 5pm daily. I asked for safety boots, and nose masks (cos the place was filled with dust and very hot), they said those things were not available.
I managed to work that day. I left and never returned, not because I didn't want the job but because I love my life than the pea nuts they said they will be paying me. As a graduate of engineering, I picked the job just to keep myself going and I knew the health implication of inhaling those pollutants.

The response on the printing page is "Admission still pending"

I can't proceed to uploading my credentials since admission letter is included.

If admission is still pending, kindly use the REFILL APPLICATION FORM option on the portal. Refi the form and submit. Use the "reprint admission letter" option to print your admission letter afterwards.

I have 4 elective courses to register this semester, please how many can I register as I believe elective courses are not compulsory?

An average of 18-20units per semester is OK.
Check your Core courses units. If they are 14, consider doing 2 units each to get to 18 but if you already have 16, don't pick more than 4 units of the electives. If you have 18 units from the core courses, pick 1 elective.
