Is she the governor of her state or senator representing her zone? Or is she the president of Nigeria?

It's things like this that reinforced her candid desire to make a change starting from the topmost.

By the way, roads in SW villages are worst.
Jeez. English is hard for Nigerians. No wonder IELTS is making so much money. OP said she should lead a protest since she loves to protest.

The same one that used tribal slurs against Yorubas and supports IPOB terrorists.. he would go and contest in Anambra where he would be welcomed with open arms.

How come He Governor Adeleke, half Ibo and speaks fluent Ibo, was not rejected in a more conservative Osun State.
Even Aketi is half Ijaw (Apoi)-half Yoruba.
Governor Makinde is married to an Ijaw women (no complaints from Oyo state people because she has good manners and behaviour)..

My case was different. I am from Enugu and grew up in Ibadan. I was treated without discrimination. I even went to OAU for my degree against going to the east. There are lots of Igbos from Ibadan that schooled at OAU too. Alot of those girls eventually married Yoruba men and are still happily married to their spouses.

How long does it have to take before the Overzealous DSS takes into custody the terrorist Islamic cleric who called for the head of the president's wife, Senator Remi Tinubu?
Is it because the cleric is not of the southeast extraction?

How more cowardly can they be?
This is wrong on all fronts.
Why don't you go and help DSS do their investigation Instead of crying like a bush baby on Nairaland.
Politics / Tinubu To Inaugurate Geometric Power Plant In Abia On Monday by Enugurangers: 10:40pm On Feb 22
Barring any last-minute change, President Bola Tinubu will inaugurate the 188megawatts Geometric power plant in the Osisioma Industrial Layout of Aba in Abia State on Monday.

A statement by the company’s management on Tuesday said the plant was originally scheduled for inauguration on Saturday, February 24.

“The new date was chosen by the Presidency in Abuja due to what insider sources described as unexpected developments,” the statement noted.

It was disclosed that the president would commission the 188MW thermal plant alongside Aba Power Limited, which will take electricity from the new plant and supply to nine of the 17 local government areas in Abia State.

An energy consultant in Lagos, Cliff Eneh, was quoted as saying, “We are proud of the support the Federal Government has of late been giving to the Geometric Power Integrated Company that will generate and distribute its own power”.

The Managing Director of the company, Ben Caven, described the power plant as the biggest investment in the South-East, saying the company had spent $800m on its integrated power project, which includes building a 27km natural gas pipeline from Owaza in Ukwa West Local Government Area in Abia State to the Osisioma Industrial Layout in Aba.

“We have, in addition, installed 150,000km of cables and wires and installed four new power substations as well as refurbished three others inherited from the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria,” explained Caven.

The Geometric Power Group was founded by Professor Bart Nnaji, who was Nigeria’s former Minister of Science and Technology and later, Minister of Power.

The statement added that Nnaji had embarked on the integrated project after the then World Bank President, James Wolfensohn, and former Nigeria’s Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, visited Aba on March 17, 2004, and discovered that the greatest challenge facing both large-scale and medium-scale industrialists in Aba was epileptic power supply.

Disgracing yourself how?

Which Buhari? The one that paid 3.6 trillion for 6months of the subsidy till he handed over to Tinubu?

Can't you read?
You are still not getting it. Buhari removed subsidy just before he handed over. For Tinubu to bring it back, he would have to include it in the 2024 budget, present it to a joint session of National Assembly, and needs it to go for Senate readings and approval. Subsidy is not like a light switch that you turn on and off.

If you are arguing for him to bring it back, then I can understand.

You see how crafty you are.

You're going about sharing a screenshot that says subsidy not covered for 2023. But you're here admitting that it covered for 6months of 2023.

Is everything okay?
Dude. Stop embarrassing yourself. Buhari removed subsidy.

Arewa Twitter should reach out to Simon Ekpa. They can become best friends.
They are telling Igbos and IPOB to join the protest, so that they can blame Igbo later for any riots that happens.

Aside that, it's Igbo traders that will bear the brunt of any protest outside the SE. The south will use their 8 years or even atleast 4 years, then power can go back to the north if they want. I know elrufai is eyeing the presidency. We protest now, they swear in Shettima. Tinubu must use his minimum 4 years.

In The North. South is the South, they care less if it's SE SS or SW. Heck, they hate SE the most. You can even see how they deliberately singled out SE from the South as if the SE is not part of the South.

The South will complete it's full 8 years. It can go back to the North After. If they like, they can give it to Shettima, That short Kaduna man or Atiku, that's their problem.

Buhari showed Nigeria shege for 8 years, Fulani herdsmen showed Nigeria shege for 8 years. They did not call for protest.

Politics / Re: Why Are Nigerians So Obsessed With US Dollars? by Enugurangers: 3:21pm On Feb 02
nairalanda1:

1.Dollars is a good reserve currency. When the value of your nation's currency crashes, it is better you carry dollars. (IN Zimbabwe. Venezuela, Ecuador, and LIberia where the crash of their local currency makes the naira look strong, dollar has even replaced the national currency).

NIgeria's currency has crashed from N0.7 to one dollar in 1978 to N1400 to one dollar today. With the crash over the years, carrying hard currency makes sense.

2.You can save 100 dollars when it was exchanging for N700 as at last year, and go to bank and change it at N1400 per dollar. AMount of money in your hand dobuled instantly. You did not need to do much.

3.Some subscriptions you need to pay for eg things like Paramount plus (available here with a good VPN ) HAVE to be paid for in dollars.
That's the game everyone is playing including the banks with some of them declaring over 400% profit. Even thought the real sector of the economy is down. Banks are round-tripping and people are trading in dollars.

Of course it has to be about the SW. I have seen you open many tribal topics about the Yorubas that the mods even had to close and delete some. Free your mind from tribalism. It's slowly eating you up.

You are a tribalist hiding under the cloak of some Fulani SW topic. How is a killing in Ogun a danger to you in Kogi state?

With people like you in Nigeria, there is always going to be chaos and division.

Yet fulani attack are still being recorded in the East, keep deceiving yourself.

Yoruba prefer to be covert than to be making noise and beating chest around even if Fulani were killed, it is better not to let the media know about it. You only heard about the one handed over to police and jumped to conclusion, you guys are so easy to deceive with the media.

Amotekun have confronted Fulani Herdsmen especially in Oyo and across south west and in fact some Amotekun members lost their lives, you are naive if you think there were no Fulani casualties in the clashes.

Agbekoya also clashed with Fulani Herdsmen in Oyo some years back that Buhari had to come to Oyo state to stop escalation, Alaafin of Oyo would never tolerate something like that. It is not everything you put on the news to chest beat, Ojukwu lost because of too much gra gra and noise.

Asper the killings, We are just very good in hiding things going on in our own back yard. As you would have noticed, when an event happen in the East, people of SE do not want to talk about it. The same time the monarch was murdered in Ekiti, there was slaughtering going on in the east and the police even discovered carcasses in an imo forest. People would rather talk about the killings going on elsewhere.

Also watch out for how people like That Obasanjo's girlfriend below keeps quiet when in happens in the SE but she is very vocal when it happens elsewhere.

Tinubu once said he could never work with Buhari and his CPC. They eventually realised the only way to beat PDP was to merge. The vultures joined forces and this is where we have now found ourselves. 2027 is too important to make that mistake of splitting votes again like in 2023, but what can I do. I am just a person with one vote and can only hope for the best.

Unless you just want to catch cruise here, you should know that if Peter Obi and Atiku Abubukar contest in the next election, they will split their votes, thereby handing Tinubu the presidency on a platter.

The best bet is a merger aming PDP, LP and NNPP. That will bury APC for good and save this sinking ship.
Exactly.
