Mindlog:

Atiku is "known" all over Nigeria, he doesn't need Obi to win.
PDP plus Atiku. 2nd in votes for presidency.
2nd highest HOR members, 2nd highest senators, 2nd highest governors, 2nd highest house of assembly members.
That's APC's greatest opponent.

Ok.

You think some of us here still have the time for all this juvenile analysis like before?

Yeah Obi is only popular in Agulu.

Sha make sure you are earning in Dollar (we have all seen where the useless structure and popularity of ApC has landed us)

Have a nice day
That's why I voted Atiku even though I knew his votes would be splitted by his fellow former PDP. I will still vote PDP in 2027.
Have a nice day too.

Story for the deities.

He will still vote for him in 2027.

We sabi una 😁😁😁
it won't be surprising.
He has a choice to vote whoever he likes. I have seen people that cursed Peter out in 2019 and even 2021 sef, only to turn around and vote for him in 2023.

Vote Atiku next time. PDP has the next highest seats in the Senate, HOR, state house of assembly and 2nd to APC in terms of governors.

Who's in Nigeria currently building bridges and marketing his kindness to all?

Atiku bah?

So after all the hardwork, obi will just step down for Atiku who's currently chilling himself in Dubai

Clap for yourself
Obi is unknown in the North. In the SW, it's mediocre, same as middlebelt.

His core base is SE, and SE alone plus some votes in the SS can't win him the election.

Atiku de!!!
2027. Atiku will likely win if the economy still doesn't turn around.

The northern votes APC got in 2023 will be transferred to PDP. PDP also holds two states in the SW and a few in the SS and the SE.

That one is between 60 to 70 too. He is an oldie.

He is just as desperate. From APGA to PDP to Labour party. I won't be suprised if he changes party again before 2027.

The only younger people are anyone below 50 years of age.

Anyway, Atiku is within his right to contest.

If the local hunters hadn't involved themselves in the hunt for this criminals, we would have been told it's ESN or BLA (IPOB) and we would have foolishly believed them.

The WOKE ones among us will start making statements like:

"The East let this misfortune happen to them. When these guys were attacking the military (defending themselves from security outfits who came to kill them for seeking for Biafra), they were hailing them. Now the evil has turned on them."

Yet, these same people we call criminals (ESN) are the reason the SE hasn't experienced any form of mass murder like what's going on in various part of Nigeria, nor have they been seen attacking locals and killing them in mass.

Very shallow way of reasoning by the Ronus. The South East knows their enemy: the bloodthirsty Fulani militia.

As it is now, the South East is arguably the safest region in Nigeria (with fewer kidnap or banditry activities) because of their ever-vigilant locals.

Before you come quoting, try visiting Google to avoid disgrace incurred out of sheer ignorance.

Meanwhile, how many times will this news hit the front page? Here is the same news from just yesterday:

https://www.nairaland.com/7985954/police-arrest-five-suspected-kidnappers#128202848

Nairaland mods, please try to stay professional. You've been committing this same error for the past few weeks.
I don't understand the point of this post. ESN are commiting crimes coupled with cannibalism as well. And SE is not the safest - I don't know who you are trying to deceive.

That was actually the Obidient. APC is very unpopular on Nairaland. The highest APC were getting was maybe 300 likes. Obidients were gathering around 1000 likes at most.
If we go by Nairaland. One would think Peter Obi would have won the election. PDP were almost non existent yet Atiku came 2nd.

Omihanifa:
People should forget about this export issue, the truth is nigeria can't export much until we fix infrastructure. How can you export when there no light to manufacture or polish raw materials?

I agree, but infrastructure needs money. I would rather the government spend the almost $20 billion a year in defending the naira on infrastructure like power. That would go a long way and we can even export technology as a result.

To move to exporting other commodities aside oil e.g. agriculture in a bid to become a truly based economy, government needs to fix insecurity as well.

Since Oseloka Obi the notorious gay son of Peter Obi is more interested in licking the anus and dicks of other men who also insert their dicks in his anus, Peter Obi couldn't trust his stolen wealth with the boy, that's why he kept the money in his daughter's name and that may be the reason why he hasn't trusted his daughter to any man to be her husband because in Igbo land, a woman is not entitled to inheritance. Anything she owns belongs to the husband whose name she bears.

Well that's good.

Someone made a post about the exchange rate but it's not on FP.

Ibrahimcoomasie:
Our problem with debt is connected with our subsidy spending and issues with FX liquidity. The decision to liberalize the FX market is a step in the right direction, Nigeria cannot afford to defend the Naira like we have done in the past. We should see the stability of the Naira by the middle of the year.

Patience is needed as the naira find it's level.

The journey through the Sahara desert can be enervating and she should be conscious of potential insecurity in that hot and sandy region of Africa.

I wish the free-sprited 29-year-old the best and a safe trip ahead.

I suspect she may avoid the desert and drive around it by following the west African coast instead. If you check her map. That is exactly what she is doing. There is no way that her small car would survive the Sahara.

It is. But someone needs to remind our touring President that he exposes the unprotected Naira to further devaluation every time he junkets around the world for no clear reason.

The value of our nation's currency is inextricably linked to political events and pronouncements, so we can no longer afford to have Tinubu heading to France at the drop of a hat - and without transferring power first - or Sanwo-Olu shuffling to Ayra Starr's latest ditty in Grenada.

If you know, you know.

Thanks for bringing Peter Obi into this topic.

Aside declaring religion war on a phone call with a Nigerian pastor, what would Peter Obi have done differently? since he would also be the chief security office of all Nigerian states.

They ask us to pray, be patient, adjust to the harsh realities while they import expensive SUV in dollar for their own convenience and travel abroad for medical checkups and pleasure

The ones who called them out are called enemies of the state or wailers, while their praise singers actually wail on the streets of Lagos “e bi n pawa”😂👍
And Peter Obi for example supported the importation of those vehicle. Nigerian politicians are similar to one another.

I do agree that cost can be trimmed to relieve pressure on the naira.

Folks like you only think about fictional savings… Not floating Naira had saved millions of Naija jobs and families. Now the cost of fuel has gone 500%. Cost of food went up 500% . Cost of drugs has gone up 800%… everthing went up by 500-1000%… but minimum wage is still N36k? So Naija workers have been robbed… and politrickians are enjoying their savings
If the government have no money to subsidize the naira and subsidize fuel subsidy, where do you want them to get the money from?

Should we keep borrowing dollars and paying high interest rate just because we need to defend the naira "artificially" from its true value? We are talking of billions of dollars. Which politician is stealing billions of dollars?

Alright Nairalanders, let's talk about our experiences pertaining to the aforementioned topic.

Have you lend a friend money? How did it turn out? Did they pay back on time? Have you lost relationships due to this?

This thread should be fun...
Most people I have left money don't end up returning it. They promise, tell me they have not forgotten, then finally stop talking about it.
