Obiagelli:
I admire your decent debate but i would insist that Ngige is also a professional and though soludu's credentials is intimadating, it does not translate effectiveness. the fact that some people were jailed for giving bribe in australia for the polymer scandal show their is more to that story.

I would only say lets wait and see.

Your point might be valid but i sincerely doubt his involvements in the polymer scandal.

Take another look at his credentials and you'd realise he's got affliations with international organizations hence, you shouldnt be swayed by spurious allegations such as that polymer scandal because its obvious those organizations wouldnt want to be associated with persons of fraudulent characters.

Am of the opinion that Soludo will make a better governor and for those insisting that Ifeanyi Uba is a businessman hence, will enhance industrialization in anambra, i say sorry in advance, peter obi prior to politics was equally a successful businessman.

Soludo has a reputation to protect and fashola was not a businessman prior to his emergence as the gov of lagos, all it entails is passion to serve your people.

Apart from a handful of filling stations in anambra state, ifeanyi uba has no meaningful investment in his state and his credibility to me is still in doubt. Ngige has been tested, he appears to me a suitable alternative to Soludo

[quote author=payless]The same Al-Mustafa that colluded with his boss, Abacha to kill Ken Saro Wiwa is now a saint to people of Southsouth. The desperation of Jonathan shows he is willing to sacrifice even his family member to get his wish. Jonathan will be losing a lot of votes from those voters in Southwest who have been willing to vote for him. This move will drive the Christians from South-west away from Jonathan.

Buhari is a very close pal of Al-Mustafa and Abacha. If you all forget, Buhari was PTF Chairman under Abacha. If Jonathan thinks Al-Mustafa will split the Northern votes, he should be prepared for rude awakening in the North.

Why are you so worked-up over this issue? Since when did asari dokubo's comments become relevant? There's obviously no permanent friend/enemy in politics but permanent interest. Moreover, its obvious GEJ has learn a thing or two from the opposition which includes colliding with folks of questionable characters for the sake of achieving his interest.

Am of the opinion that you afford yourself some good rest and not getting restless over issues as irrelevant as this. Al-mustapha may have also met asari for personal reasons. Mind you, he's now a free man and he's entitled to freedom of movement.

As expected, you never dissappoint me. I understand the reasons for your grief, the nothern governors you have helplessly relied on as your agents for distabizing PDP has all of a sudden decided to make consultations and perhaps re-negotiate, hence your anguish

Btw, who is desperate, the visitors or the visited? Meanwhile, the topic is about GEJ and the 5 northern govs and not about amechi so all aggressive attempts you'll make to derail this thread will be futile

In your shallow mind, GEJ will lose PDP's ticket right? You should be more concerned about the general election and not the internal affairs of the PDP

And how far do you think NANS is willing to go? Opinions varies hence actions are most likely to vary aswell, you neccessesarily dont have to make mountain out of mole-hill by making NANS relevant. ASUU is on strike and they've not deemed it fit to speak out as it directly affects them. Trust me, if its not NLC, NUPENG, TUC, PENGASSAN and NUEE, almost all other bodies are irrelevant and cant force govt to rescind its decisions

Abagworo: But its obvious. The way this government disregards the feeling of the masses must end up in a revolution. Sometimes I just wonder if they really know how the common man feels or they are surrounded by liars.

An example is this Rivers State issue. People are lying to the Presidency that it is only opposition political parties that are angry but in reality majority of Nigerians are very mad at the actions of the FG. I won't be surprised if the revolution comes sooner than expected.

And i ask just this once, Abagworo, can you actually in all honesty name just one past and maybe present Government that has harkened to the voices of the masses?

Revolutions in Nigeria is percieved as Riots in selected areas or strikes which sometimes are not nationwide.

This is Nigeria, we've seen it all and trust me it cant get worse, life is much more precious to us than politics because if revolution was to take place, what is the end game strategy? Do you have any?

Orji Uzor was smarter, he waited for the dying minute and dealt the president a deadly blow. Moreover, i doubt if Abia state had powerful overlords the president would have used to fight OUK.

In my opinion, amaechi goofed, he lacked patience and diplomacy, unlike OUK who wasnt fighting with every arm of govt in abia state. Infact, OUK was in charge from grassroot to external influences.

So pal, the circumstances are incomparable!

Perhaps, that will be enough reason for his constituency to recall him as their representative and elect someone else as they cannt afford to have a madman representing them... He'll therefore be confined to the psychiatric hospital in Yaba.

Politics / Re: Don’t Lie, Ogun Has No Free Health Services, Doctors Tell Gov. Amosun by enyice(m): 8:18pm On Jun 24, 2013
And finally, you guys have succeeded in derailing the thread from "NO FREE HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN OGUN STATE'' to "THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF GOV. AMOSUN IN OGUN STATE".

I havent been to ogun state post- Gbenga Daniel's administration but judging from the media's commentaries, there's indeed been an improvement.

While the governor promised free healthcare services to toddlers and the aged, i dont know if its bn implemented.

Premium times as usual might have chosen that title to heat up the polity as am compelled to believe that NMA's aim was to draw the govt's attention to some of the medical facilities lacking in the hospitals and further clear the notion about free healthcare services so that those needing the services wouldnt come with empty hands.
