I hope this one makes front page too. |
wirinet: You have not responded to any of my questions regarding this dialogue. Where will this dialogue table be situated, and how many tables are there going to be? Who are the participants going to be and how are they going to be chosen. Remember Nigeria has over 250 ethnic groupings.@ wirinet, We cant continue like this, we must do everything we can to make this country work. We must keep experimenting we most definitely must make nigeria work. There's never any harm in trying, limit the way you compare nigeria to other countries, infact, nigeria is a case study of its own. While every little maltreatment may cause revolution in the middle-east or north africa, the complex nature of nigeria may not make that happen here despite the extreme difficulties we encounter here. Its only a dialogue or conference, what are you scared of? A committee has been constituted by the president to determine the nomenclature of the national conference, am sure they'll address all your concerns but you should try as much as you can to encourage it. |
NOTHING! |
I hope this is not true, interstate defaulted and should be sidelined while the next in in line should step in. I pray we get it right this time around, i sincerely do |
Abagworo: The short distance from Umuahia to Aba and Enugu to Lokpanta will take almost 4 years to complete. That's like dead on arrival.Perhaps, you should have asked how long it took to complete Onitsha - Owerri exp way, how long its taking to complete Owerri - PH exp way... I dont know the reasons yet until an expert enlightens us why it takes so long to complete roads these days. |
Jittery over a "mere appendage of power"... This is indeed laughable. I'd rather have INEC put an outright ban on any type of rally be it peaceful or unpeaceful! |
pDude: I dey laffI sincerely get irritated by your kind of person... You and your ilks are the reason this nation has remained this way. @jarus, thumbs up bro. |
Nice one Fash', lets hope the duration of those contracts is not like that of lekki - epe exp way that has lingered for over 6yrs. |
payless: This is a woman with no verifiable income. payless: This is a woman with no verifiable income. payless: This is a woman with no verifiable income. Most times, i am tempted to believe you are just being unneccessarily daft and unreasonable. She is the mother of a one time deputy governor, governor of bayelsa state and also vice-president and current President of the FRN, unlike you, she understands the importance of education and made sure her son GEJ was educated same way she also wants to ensure that the school is comfortable for the students, it doesnt cost a human head to do what she just did, everybody does that. Get a life and stop hating, it'll only ruin you |
mecedonia: Ouk administration is the worst thing that happen to all AbiansYou seem to be willfully blinded by hypocrisy and suffering from selective amnesia for your inability to apportion blames aptly. OUk's worst mistake was imposing an incompetent governor on Abians. Take another look at the portfolio of the writter, SA on e-governance and strategy. Yes, you'll only find completed e-projects in that states while real infrastructures suffers. Infact, TA.Orji is the best e-governor with no meaningful physically completed project to show for his 6yrs in power even after sacking non-indigeneous civil servants and having more funds available for meaningful capital projects. |
Sanusi, its only a matter of time before your sins are publicly confessed by others on your behalf |
Obiagelli: I admire your decent debate but i would insist that Ngige is also a professional and though soludu's credentials is intimadating, it does not translate effectiveness. the fact that some people were jailed for giving bribe in australia for the polymer scandal show their is more to that story.Your point might be valid but i sincerely doubt his involvements in the polymer scandal. Take another look at his credentials and you'd realise he's got affliations with international organizations hence, you shouldnt be swayed by spurious allegations such as that polymer scandal because its obvious those organizations wouldnt want to be associated with persons of fraudulent characters. |
For what? This man is among nigeria's A-class ministers... |
You might call it misapplication of funds but in my humble opinion, its another means of poverty eradication. Moreover, tax payers money in this scenario is used directly on taxpayers... Stop hating @Op |
Am of the opinion that Soludo will make a better governor and for those insisting that Ifeanyi Uba is a businessman hence, will enhance industrialization in anambra, i say sorry in advance, peter obi prior to politics was equally a successful businessman. Soludo has a reputation to protect and fashola was not a businessman prior to his emergence as the gov of lagos, all it entails is passion to serve your people. Apart from a handful of filling stations in anambra state, ifeanyi uba has no meaningful investment in his state and his credibility to me is still in doubt. Ngige has been tested, he appears to me a suitable alternative to Soludo |

[quote author=payless]The same Al-Mustafa that colluded with his boss, Abacha to kill Ken Saro Wiwa is now a saint to people of Southsouth. The desperation of Jonathan shows he is willing to sacrifice even his family member to get his wish. Jonathan will be losing a lot of votes from those voters in Southwest who have been willing to vote for him. This move will drive the Christians from South-west away from Jonathan. Buhari is a very close pal of Al-Mustafa and Abacha. If you all forget, Buhari was PTF Chairman under Abacha. If Jonathan thinks Al-Mustafa will split the Northern votes, he should be prepared for rude awakening in the North. Why are you so worked-up over this issue? Since when did asari dokubo's comments become relevant? There's obviously no permanent friend/enemy in politics but permanent interest. Moreover, its obvious GEJ has learn a thing or two from the opposition which includes colliding with folks of questionable characters for the sake of achieving his interest. Am of the opinion that you afford yourself some good rest and not getting restless over issues as irrelevant as this. Al-mustapha may have also met asari for personal reasons. Mind you, he's now a free man and he's entitled to freedom of movement. |
Attention seekers! |
Rhino.5dm: Rhino.5dm: Rhino.5dm:As expected, you never dissappoint me. I understand the reasons for your grief, the nothern governors you have helplessly relied on as your agents for distabizing PDP has all of a sudden decided to make consultations and perhaps re-negotiate, hence your anguish Btw, who is desperate, the visitors or the visited? Meanwhile, the topic is about GEJ and the 5 northern govs and not about amechi so all aggressive attempts you'll make to derail this thread will be futile |
Now this outrageously funny.... |
Eagerly anticipating a positive action from both parties next week |
Which of the mustaphas are you refering to, The one who is still a military man? I wonder why people are shivering over 2015 in 2013 |
Gbawe and Sincere9gerian, i honestly do like the intelligence and dedication to the cause they believe in and the fact that they tender references/proofs in butressing there points but i get disgusted at the tribalistic rants of 1. Beaf 2. Chidindufrank 3. Rhino 4. Demdem 5. Eko-ile 0 - 10 6. Alh harem and a few others i'll come bk to mention |
Op, pardon me for overating your intelligence, you are indeed an insult to the original moniker you are imitating... Your cognitive level is outrageously low and it is not your fault, you've already been dulled by hatred for the presidency that you cant look beyond your pinochio nose. In your shallow mind, GEJ will lose PDP's ticket right? You should be more concerned about the general election and not the internal affairs of the PDP |
So this is how this man finally ended despite all the agitations and protests by the oppostions. All the same, thanks for your services to the nation |
Well deserved |
What is delaying you na? Take the pics and autheticate this your story! |
better... |
And am patiently waiting and sincerely hoping i'd l'd lay my eager hands on one copy! How come the topics i take interest in makes front page.. #ModsMindReader. |
I honestly dont know which one am to believe... I'll still consider it a rumour owing to the fact that no legislator, not even the paedophiles at the federal level including the obvious crook farouk has ever bn recalled by their respective constituencies. Infact, its alien in our democracy but if a recall was ever to take place, then the macer, chidi lloyd will make a better candidate |
Abagworo: I think the Abuja people should realize that it is now impossible to remove Amaechi. The best option is to let peace reign while they plan for their 2015 candidate for Rivers governorship. Opinions varies hence actions are most likely to vary aswell, you neccessesarily dont have to make mountain out of mole-hill by making NANS relevant. ASUU is on strike and they've not deemed it fit to speak out as it directly affects them. Trust me, if its not NLC, NUPENG, TUC, PENGASSAN and NUEE, almost all other bodies are irrelevant and cant force govt to rescind its decisions |
