Politics / Re: The Buhari I Knew And Still Know..... by enyice(m): 5:05pm On Feb 15, 2013
But i was compelled to call him St.Buhari because i was told he knew no corruption.

Nigeria! When will we learn? Maybe when we go back to 1914, we can then correct the glaring costly mistake we made.

Some people may have voted for GEJ out of ignorance but voting for Buhari is absolute stupidity because we do have records of his administration.

This man had absolute power to make this nation great as a military head of state with no legislature or even judiciary to checkmate him but instead messed up, how then will he amend his flaws now that there are oppositions and watchdogs everywhere?

Same set of disgruntled old politicians who has taken their hyperventilation to another platform...

I was expecting to see new breeds of politicians with diffrent ideologies and not mostly sore loosers from the PDP.

You can imagine the likes of achike udenwa, annie okonkwo, shekarau and i expect alli mordu sheriff to be a part of it along with a co- do or die politician like tinubu and his lots as founding members.

This ilks will certainly not do anything diffrently.

As for me, its either am totally anti-PDP and its elements both ex members and current members or pro-PDP, anything short of this, count me out.

Well its PDP....

And its only natural that a national party's personal affairs is treated as a national issue.

Still wondering the chances of the oppositions against a party that has total control of the electoral mechanisms in an entity called nigeria.

Moreover, its illogical and a blatant display of mediocrity for one to envisage a perfect opposition party void of religious and ethnic bigotry.

Nigeria's democracy is still immature where national interest is last on the list of priorities and until then, the only weapon we the masses have at our disposal's our prayers and our selfless dedication towards the actualization of a better NIGERIA...

joyblinks: Just recently the twin brothers performed at a concert in Uganda and now they have vowed never to set their foot in uganda again. According to a source. they were paid for their performance, accomodation and transport were also provided for them but the two brothers still spent more than expected and were later detained at a five star hotel where they lodged because they couldent pay for their excess bills. Now this has made them vow never to set feet in Uganda again.

How authentic is this gist...

This person just wants to drive traffic to his/her blog.

How much the hotel wan charge? Abi e cost pass all the hotels wey dey naija ni?

Politics / Re: Oluremi Tinubu For Governor (Lagos State) by enyice(m): 6:36pm On Jan 04, 2013
Gbawe:

Blame it on how your fellow citizens, even if unpleasant to admit, are over-emotional and vacuously pugnacious. You are right. It is the opinion of the OP. A very ludicrous one at that. One thing many of us fail to account for is the fluid intelligence of those who lead us. They may be greedy and self-serving but they are not self-destructive. Indeed, permanent interest and self-preservation is something we can trust all politicians to be about. GEJ will be bounced if he becomes unpopular enough to the extent the mood of the day shows that the PDP risk losing everything by backing him.

Similarly, Tinubu will be mad pushing his wife to be Governor of a State with the strategic importance of Lagos if that sort of move will strengthen the opposition and lose the Party swing/undecided votes or even ACN stalwarts who will be disillusioned with the side-lining of meritorious 'apprentices' and those who have contributed to develop Lagos and are up to speed with issues.

The 2015 project is even bigger than Lagos or any singular character and will involve a lot of actors and scenarios even Tinubu must respect. What I am saying will become obvious to Nigerians soon. If some want to keep childishly fearing and deifying men like Tinubu as if they are gods , without recognising the power in their own arms, then please be my guest. It is the reason IBB arrogantly said young people are not ready to lead. He observed many of us spend too much time worshipping and talking about them and not establishing our own identities as ready and able/superior replacements for them. Do any of you see Obama or Tony Blair arrogantly saying American and British youths are not ready to lead?

All I will say is that Tinubu has gotten where he is today by 'knowing the score'. Did he not show he knew the score by sticking with Fashola even when the usual "Tinubu-is-the-most-powerful-dictator-in-the-entire-world" sought to convince us Fashola would be dumped as the ACN candidate in 2011? We need to start reading the tarot cards better in Nigeria instead of being gullible and unhelpfully emotional/sentimental always.

sequel to your apt analysis, you are still yet to sincerely profer any objective comment void of emmotion and sentiments.

You are not mandated to manufacture a response to every poster on this thread.

I understand, your emotional attachment and dedication to the ACN cause. You are human afterall but do us all a favour and calm your nerves for the sake of your dignity.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Politics / Re: FG Owes Lagos N51Billion For Roads Constructed & Certified by enyice(m): 8:49am On Jan 04, 2013
i was told lagos is the smallest state in terms of landmass.

How come it carried out a 52billion naira project and am yet to notice any meaningful impact on the federal roads here.

1. Lagos - abeokuta exp way is in total ruin

2. Mile2 - badagry is a death trap

and the maintenance work carried out on 3rd mainland bridge was done by FG.

Yes, it is true that the overall value of evry 1kilometer road constructd in lagos is 1billion naira, that is judging from the lekki-epe exp way expansion cost.

But my question is, WHERE CAN I FIND THE COMPLETED FG ROAD THAT GULPED 52BILLION NAIRA?
even if its a 52km road, i wont mind. Som1 shud just show me.

Techwriter: MayD never try to Outshine the Masters is an innocent advice written in the 48 laws of Power. Go and humble yourself and ask 4 forgiveness who is right notwithstanding

yours is the most reasonable comment on this thread.

MAYD was absolutely nobody b4 he was featured in chop my money and to give his career a bigger boost he was featured alongside an international act like akon. To me, thats d biggest boost of his musical career.

He's yet to release an album under square records and yet would allow der grievances to deteriorate to the extent of leaving the label.

He should learn frm 2face who actd the fool under kennis music till he gained international prominence and eventually parted ways peacefully and fulfild...

MAY-D isnt a wise fellow.
