Saw his convoy, the 3 star plated land cruiser was obviously his and endless amount of escorts with heavy military weapons. Makes one wonder if there's war in Imo state... Oh I remember, they are the dancing Python, I just hope it's not the type Nairalanders keeps killing and eating on almost daily basis. Whatever it's they are doing, I just hope they do it well and professionally. |
mrvitalis:When did the 13% derivation came into effect? 1999? Or Niger Delta Militancy started in 1999? Partisanship most times obstructs objectivity, Your analysis, though your opinion is outrightly false and should be relegated to the trash can. Do have a nice day Mr Vitalis. |

Lyrics from Muna's "Never Regret". |
Could this be attributed to global warming? |
Congrats to you Col. Shippi. I had figured it out all by myself when you were the Commandant of 311 artillery as a Lt. Col. In Vulcans Barracks, Kontagora, Niger State. I admired your sense of quality, I equally admired your smartness, I also admired your silver coloured E-class Benz, I admired and still do admire a whole lot of things about you, no homo. Keep soaring, You will get there. |
"All the love and joy and happiness that you desire for your existence are all welled up within you" The gift to write is what I do not posses MizMycoli, I come on here often, almost everyday. Sometimes as me and other times as a guest I do not miss your thread or your posts even though it's dwindled of late. Sometimes, I also wonder how you reconcile politics and love, How you are able to deal with those vulgar languages unleashed on you yet maintaining a positive outlook, I have overtime learnt to show atleast a few amount of compassion in everything I do, I am still learning, it's a process you know, and somehow, it is you who has become my yardstick. There are moments when the mortal side of you tries to rear its head, It is still you who comes out mending those broken fences, building those fallen bridges and apologizing without reservations hence allowing immortality overcome in the end. If God is love, God is Immortal, And you Mizmycoli preaches Love always, Then you are on your pathway to Immortality! As always, keep finding favour in your maker, May you live long, Long enough to be called an ancestor. HBD MizMycoli |
Buhari (FG), rejects $400 million naira worth of car proposed by FG and it made headlines. I hope to see Buhari rejects sachet Milo make headlines tomorrow. Cheap petty propagandists. |
This is quite painful, Such a young man with so much prospects could be cut short in his prime. Humans! |

Good morning Nairalanders, I rarely create posts prolly because I enjoy doing the the readings and I am a Nairaland regular. Its been about 3 years on here and there are no regrets, occasionally, I'd been saddened by a few posts that made front page and somehow, the modes have always come up with some more that lightens up the mood. So all in all, they've been fair and objective and it has thought me to greater extent how to tolerate divergent opinions irrespective of how irritated I might get. You will most likely find this thread in other boards and I am hoping that you understand its aim is not to spam but to accelerate attentions so please bear with me as I am another mortal albeit harmless Few days ago, a very good friend from the north visited me and we got talking. He narrated the vices going on in the tertiary institutions in the state where he stays, he couldn't hide his disgust as well as his helplessness. Knowing fully well he has a few ears in high places who could offer those kind of help that doesn't include financing, I brought up the idea of creating a body that will checkmate these activities that defies all moral logic and the government's only input will be political empowerment and not funding, though we mapped out other avenues of raising funds.... Now the problem is, How do I develop a proposal to this effect? What kind of proposal will serve? Do we even need a proposal? He's left me with the responsibility of figuring this out and I can't let him down. I hope I find help here. |

bismarck:From your comment above, it'll be safe to assume you are not residing in Abia state or you are probably not conscious of the political structures existing in Abia state. Obingwa alone gave the president over 60,000 votes during the presidential elections and it has the highest number of registered voters. You can imagine what it will do when one of the major aspirants is from there. While I cannot guarantee 100% credibility, its never 100% anywhere in Nigeria, it is totally out of place to question how Obingwa can come up with such margin,. |
Super1759:Statements such as yours is obviously the reason why many Ngwas want the PDP to adhere to the zoning agreement. They no longer want to be seen as fools, they are being blamed for everything that goes wrong in Abia State even though they've never tasted power. When some of you left your places with poly bags and empty hands to settle in Aba and its environs, you never thought about that. You excelled and built businesses, you still see them as foolish, I am not asking you to be grateful, I am only asking after your sanity. I only pity my father and mother who didn't understand that this isn't about good governance but about people not wanting the Ngwa man becoming the governor of Abia state, my parent voted their heart because they wanted change and they believed it was what Otti represented, unfortunately, you still didn't spare them in your diatribe. I understand what this is all about and you will have a different perception about the Ngwas once Ikpeazu is affirmed the winner, I assure you. |
obaayo2:Battalion of Malice...... Mogeeeeezzz. |
Coming from the Editorials of punch further smashes any iota of objectivity on its part. I come from the east and I live there, I stood in the sun and let it scorch my skin because I want to be wholly involved in this election, I don't work on weekends, that's obviously the only time I have to my self. it was one of those weekends amidst many trials sometimes in 2014 that I managed to get registered and subsequently offered a temporary voters card. PVC's came out and procedures changed, collection is only at the local government secretariat and only on week days as INECs office at the LG is usually empty and quiet on weekends unlike in voters registration where they had a center at my ward. I can only get my PVC if I will avoid going to work and go to INECs office instead, I might loose my job in the process and maybe, become a victim of Immigration Job Scam. I am not the only one in this situation, I am part of the 45% without a PVC for no fault of mine and to think that Jega and his cohorts will wave us off as irrelevant still amuses me. |

AderibigbeAAA:Inasmuch as I want to stop this argument, I can't because my integrity is at stake. I don't live too far from Umuogele. You obviously don't know where Obiehe is, I just figured out your route, hence I'll pardon your ignorance . I discovered you don't get to Azumini Bridge, you just get to Azumini junction and divert to Opobo Road. Understand the difference AZUMINI JUNCTION vs AZUMINI BRIDGE. from Obehie, that road I uploaded ended at the bridge and hasn't gotten to Azumini junction yet. |
AderibigbeAAA:There's no need arguing over this issue. You don't see me commenting on here too often but I must state without prejudice the things I witnessed. Unlike you Aderibigbe, I am not a Corper, this is my state. That been said, I will not want you to twist my comments/words... I never mentioned any fixed road in Akwa-Ibom, I don't go there too often. Never been to Ukanafun or IKA LGA but I know Abia State and I know that it is almost totally bereft of any good road. This I must say once again, take a bike from your PPA, tell the bike man to take you to Azumini bridge, look beyond and behold the road I uploaded. I've done my part dear friend, the onus is on you to prove me wrong. |
I am not a kid, the road is Bad but what you are seeing is exactly what I said it is. I took that shot standing on that Azumini bridge because I was supposed to write a report on the tourist potentials of the the River... and there are other serious construction going on along that road. you are free to go find yourself, I do have other pix but they are mostly of my primary purpose of going to Azumini in the first place.. The River AderibigbeAAA: AderibigbeAAA: Dude... are u the one you snap it or u downloaded it online... the same road that lead from Ukanafun LG, Etim Ekpo LG IKA LG to Abia state. Dude I pass through that road on friday going To Aba.... na just sand n stone dey there. AderibigbeAAA: |
AderibigbeAAA:This Is the Azumini River axis towards Obehie... Verification is solemnly at your disposal...

Ichinonye, Please stop already, you are beginning to sound petty. what are you scared of? voting?! let your vote speak for you. You cannot keep ranting on here this way and expect to be taken serious, we all want the same thing, that's if your demands are genuine. Abia has suffered too much and sincerely needs a "leader", a true leader. I don't know Ikpeazu personally but he seems to posses a good CV based on what I have read online and offline, if there was ever anything positive about TA's administration, its ASEPA, headed by Ikpeazu, he's an adult, an educated adult with a mind of his own, if he is indeed a stooge and chooses to remain so, posterity will always be the jury. He's not the best candidate and certainly not the only candidate, please avail yourself with the options and choose wisely with your vote. Cheers! |
Nice job dude, am seriously following... Keep it up. |
Killer punch!!!! |
Gboliwe: The "midget" part got to you, ehn kwa? Sorry. But you were/are comfortable hearing that the other group are ra-pis-ts, thieves and looters. You try.Sir, For the sake of your dignity, do not attempt to quote me again especially when you are being unreasonable. If you are looking for someone to bandy words with, I am certainly not the ideal candidate, take your conjectures to ilks of greater pettiness. Cheers... |
Its only natural to see typical benighted naija pseudo-intellects make irrelevant statements just to sell a candidate/score cheap political points. Ogar is abia's version of anambra's Ifeanyi Uba who feels that success in business equals success in politics. Apart from managing his personal businesses, I can't really say any other thing about him, he's striving so hard to be relevant which isn't forthcoming. The other dude even ended up stereotyping a whole clan as midgets and I feel nothing else but pity for him, its his opinion anyway, he is entitled to it. Abia state is messed up and Abaribe isn't the ideal candidate to salvage it from this ruins and its certainly not Ogar, the Messiah will come, if it becomes ihejirika, then am comfortable with his c.v, am sure its also not the banker with a confused identity, Abia state belongs to the PDP and I hope abia south presents a credible candidate at least to help fix even if its only Aba. |
Elder to Elder, i heard they posses a great deal of experience and intelligence. I hope he publishes the letter comprising the ethnicity that made up OBJ's kitchen cabinets. |
berem: Jonathan also did the same thing to ministers who were loyal to leaders of the opposition party and his political enemies. Kwakwanso is doing exactly what Jonathan did. The governor is even lenient enough to give them notice by telling them to resign instead of sacking them. Now tell me sister berem, what has/is/will APC done/doing/do differently? Because each day i am being reminded of the birth of a credible opposition but then what i see here is the exact trait of a party i am already tired of. A little objectivity on your part will do as i do not subscribe to the politics of copying other peoples/party's flaws if truly you represent the change/progressive you preach. |
Village beckons! |
Would Obingwa have had a higher voter turn-out than Aba South/ North
