If this is true, then Katsina State Governor needs commendation. He is a great example of shrewdness among co-governors. How come Katsina is blessed with financially disciplined Govs? As an afterthought though, let them also put the money into use to turn Katsina into a mecca of development of some sort. |

Mrs.Chima: Why I'm telling u that is that when a woman gives her husband maximum submission, obedience and respect, that Man cannot refuse to progress in life. There is a magical miracle of blessings that will be unlocked on a man who has a loving wife. If 'Yes sir' sounds tooo heavy in ur mouth to say to him, then I imagine how ur he feels. Every man has a natural God-built In-built EGO. Caress it and u will bring out his best. early morning capsules |

Mrs.Chima: Mrs Chima, your gutts piss me off! I use 'Yes My lord' for my own husband! If lawyers (eminent SANs for that matter) say 'my lord' to human Judges in law courts, why should answering my lifetime husband 'my lord' talk less of 'Yes sir' be that difficult? |

Politics / Re: Enugu Brt To Be Run By Nigeria Made Buses! by enyojo(f): 1:36pm On Jun 15, 2011 |
There is great excitement as Enugu State government settles for locally assembled mass transit buses for its city shuttle project. Commuters and state officials revel that the novel transportation system is designed to alleviate difficulties associated with the sector. OLAOLU OLUSINA writes http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/enugu-introduces-new-coal-city-shuttle-buses/86987/ |

Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company (IVM), with a plant in Nnewi, Anambra State, is taking the Nigerian economy to another level by manufacturing vehicles in the country. The Enugu State government has also adopted the indigenous vehicle manufacturer for use in the government initiated cab scheme introduced a few years ago. At the initial stage of the scheme, the government had used cars such as: Suzuki Alto and Nissan Sunny, but with the manufacturing of such useful vehicles in Nigeria, it decided to cuddle IVM with its made-in-Nigeria buses. http://nationalmirroronline.net/features/7032.html |

Andre Uweh: Till date, you cannot point to a single post by Aisha2 where she insulted Dame Jonathan. The President's overzealously lousy wife abused her own self. Not Aisha. How could she have said 'umbulela' and 'My fellow widows' among other unbecoming public utterances? If you can't provide any links where Aisha2 used abusive language on Mrs (Dr) Dame, then forever keep mum |

^^ Then how do u place Julius Berger (JBN) that usually quotes 3 or 4 times the quotations of all other Bidders combined? And they usually get the contract as prefered Bidder. What will you say if JBN quotes a job for N15B for a job that CCECC, CGC and CCC will all quote a combine total of N4.5B? Will you say the 'actual' worth is N200M or thereabout? For all we know, if a Building was renovated for N3B, it is cruel and devilish to sell it for even N6B |

Jarus: 1. Accountants are not more knowledgeable regarding structures and infrastructures like Professionals in this industry. The reason is simple. You have just compared a building around the NECOM house to it saying that building is about the same size. In construction industry, we don't value based on size just as you don't marry base on the size of the Lady But for many other more important factors like her background (Building foundation), Character (Building integrity), Intelligence (Quality of Reinforcements/Concrete used) etc. Lawyers and Accountants CAN'T determine these. That is why they often fail when they deviate from their callings to construction. Imagine a Lawyer who claims to know too much being a Moderator of Properties Section of nairaland! He can argue with the best of Engineers!! Most often he wins the argument but looses the truth. 2. Secondly, you didnt see this: Akainzo: I found this Source: http://www.costainwa.com/our-business/civil-engineering-and-construction |
Politics / Re: Senate Leadership: ACN, Minority Parties Reject Tinubu’s Candidate by enyojo(f): 9:47pm On Jun 14, 2011 |
Eko Ile: Eko Ile, are you sure you aren't attacking the wrong people on this thread all in the name of defending Tinubu?? I'm not a hater of Tinubu for the fact that he strengthened the Opposition in Nigeria. While the likes of Atiku passed backyard to visit Obasanjo's hilltop masion to beg for forgiveness, Tinubu stood firm as a lone soldier to knock off Obj even in his backyard. However, there are times, one agree to some not-so-pleasant realities like this one: Tinubu's strategy of changing ACN from a Regional Party to a National Party is commendable, however, from my personal experience, Tinubu could sometimes be so anti-people in his political compensations. |

Eko Ile: I didnt beg anybody to believe me. This was what I experienced personally. That time, Tinubu was still living in his Bourdillon road mansion. He has a great tendencies to settle political supporters with Contracts that are very critical to people. You don't play politics with what can make hundreds of people to die. I'm an insider in this case plssssssss. This is not a Newspaper cover page bladadash. Tinubu is a great politician, but fashola is by far a people-oriented person. Take it or leave it. |
Politics / Re: Senate Leadership: ACN, Minority Parties Reject Tinubu’s Candidate by enyojo(f): 7:21pm On Jun 14, 2011 |
Eko Ile: dayokanu: Why I don't like Tinubu as a Person My personal reason is that I have supervised a Lagos State Project under Fashola's First term in office. The unforgiveably Non-performing Contractor got the huge Contract on the caprices of Tinubu. I had several confrontations regarding the laxity with which he attended to the project. Because of this, the Government agency under which the Contract was awarded got a query and my MD gave me scolding of my life. I later resigned from that company due to this. Till now the work is FAR from being done. Me am cooling off in my new job flying like bird over 9ja with much time to waste on Nairaland. |

This is a very great thread I have been monitoring for so long. Thanks all for useful contributions. We came accross a little money and we are planning to buy a house (already completed) in Abuja say Maitama/Asokoro/Garki axis (not wuse or others). Our budget is around N65m. Can we get a lovely home at these specified areas? I'm so scared of demolition in Abuja. NB: Garki 1 or Garki 2. Not Areas 1,2,3 etc 1 Like |

I don't like Tinubu as a person. But I like his strategic dexterity and political wizardry with which he dusted and frustrated Heavyweights like a 3 times President Obj, a disgraced Police Henchman Akala, A former Vice President/ Custom Boss Atiku, 3 times Governor/ Military Administrator/Minister Agagu, 3 Times Governor/MILAD Oyinlola, 2 times Senator/Gov Hopeful/Murderer Omisore, Mr-Fix-It/Old stubborn Man Tony Anenih etc etc
